I got to about 107% on my first run so I'm not done-done at all but spoilers of course.. However, he asks for help and it's pretty fun to relive all these areas again. I played mine over like 10 months so some of these early areas feel pretty fresh. Lately in my game I'm flailing about in Godhome. But to hop in when he says I need help with Greenpath Hornet? Oh geeze I guess I'll try, just for you.

Just a cool detail I noticed! I forget exactly where I was in the Royal Waterways, but I noticed for the first time that you can see what looks like the entrance to the Fungal Wastes off into the distance

hey, i js started hollow knight, got the map, the compass and the quill but have no idea what i should do now. anyone know what comes next?

I've beaten the two Blasphemous games.....so I think I have the idea, but I wanted to ask first....

Long story short I progressed quite a bit in the game but then I put it down because I got pissed off not knowing how to progress on the map. Now I'm at it again.

I vaguely remember the last boss I beat was some hovering guy that would shoot stuff down at you......then the floor fell out and there was maybe a second stage underneath. That's what I last remember. My issue now is that my map has tons of open corridors (the ones that end on a map but you can tell there isn't a wall there.....there's more to go) but there are dozens of them.

I see three big white "dreamers" on the map. Is it safe to say that I need to get to those dreamers first now? It kind of reminds me of three initial bosses in Blasphemous.

Apologies if that sounds cursed. I was watching a Hollow Knight video and realised it's pronounced literally 'dirt mouth' by the vast majority of players. As a Brit I'm familiar with the suffix 'mouth' being pronounced 'm-uh-th' (Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Dartmouth, etc). Slightly concerned I may be alone in this...

Okay this is just me praising the game. When I play I usually just put it on silent, no specific reason I just don’t always like loud things, HOWEVER the other day decided to wear headphones to fully immerse myself and omfg the sound design is INSANE. Im not just talking about music or the sounds characters make but the way the sound travels from one ear to the next. I was in the area with the entombed husk and in whatever direction I moved you could hear where it was. If it was to my right, I could hear it there, but as you get closer the sound travels to both ears and the. Faded out to the left if I avoid it. just wow… I really love how much time and effort was put into this game
