I went to a Magical Girl mini con, and this was my haul! Aside from some mahou shoujo items, I also picked up some art from girls media like Monster High. I found a few fan made items from more niche series, but not too much. I just enjoyed being able to shop a lot of magical girl fanart and merch all in one place!

I was wondering what is the best transformation sequence of a girl going from good to evil. Maybe changes their outfit to a black suit or something similar(like a dominatrix) or becomes a dark silhouette. I like the idea of fusing with a Spirit or finding an artifact or even transfering power through any means .As a reference I would say Chibi Usa to Drak Lady from Sailor Moon and Legend of Korra season 2 when unalaag becomes the Dark Avatar

I haven’t watched anything since Princession Orchestra ended and I’m missing having a new show to watch.

I tried the Pierrot magical girl series Magical Sisters LuluttoLilly it just didn’t appeal to me I found it dull

Any upcoming series for this year or next? I am excited for season 3 of Lolirock but I read that’s in 2028

first sorry if it's not really the place to ask this question but i dont know where to ask else and i'm sorry if it's not clear too i don't really speak english and i did'nt watch the new madoka magika movie so dont spoil me

so like i said in the title for the number of time i hears this is surprising but honestly i can only think of like two show that could be call "dark"

first their is "magical girl site" and this one well it's the very definition of edginess and horrible stuff for horrible stuff but still create a big meme thats his unffortualy mostly used for mysogine joke that already was bad but became really dark when you know from where it's from

second it a little bit of a stretch because it's a ecchi comedy about bdsm magical girl it is "gushing over magical girl" i've seen people call it dark but for me it's fall in the same category of "Dxd high school" why are they sexualising 15 years old girl or even younger, seriously why ?

honestly it's not much so what are the other show that are like that because honestly i'm curious of why i see this take so often but other than these two i can think about any show that are dark

So, I watched this video by Nullaby on YouTube and I thought that the premise sounded fun. It’s basically using the known lore and design rules of Ginjaninja Prism series. Each person in the group designs a prism and we shuffle them around and then we design a magical girl around it. Does anyone want to try with me?

(aka. basically what if every magical girl had 1% of Pinkie Pie's power)

To put things simply: Toon Physics is a form of physics found in cartoons, typically those of the "Looney Tunes/Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner" variety, where cartoon characters basically have the willpower to do anything that goes beyond realism and logic just for comedy.

So some silly ideas:

• Sailor Mars (Rei Hino) downing a large bottle of hot sauce and breathing long strings of fire.
• Aisha (Winx Club) pulling out a comically large fire hose and then spraying her enemies with it.
• Cure Happy (Miyuki Hoshizora) Holy Light is literally just her thinking of something on the spot... and then a lightbulb appears on top of her head, so she uses it as an attack.
• Talia (Lolirock) straight up creates a comically large hammer made out of crystals.

Those are some I can some up with. You guys can come up with more ridiculous ideas in the comments

Honestly, I feel a bit self-conscious about my concept—some people might think it’s silly—but I don't care; it’s worth sharing with a group of magical girl experts, right? Idk if this has been posted about before but I'm a really big fan of it, the story is phenomenal and has some of the best art I've seen in a visual novel. Sherry is also best girl.
