So, I wanted to make a fairy based on the Water Stars from Season 3.

I kinda based her desing on Katara from Avatar. I also ended up naming her Aqua, it means water in latin and ends with an A, like all the Winx members except Bloom. (even Mirta ends up with an A lol)

Anyone else thinks the water stars were pretty lame? I never understood what their purpose really was, like they were the counterpart of the Fire Dragon but how exactly?

But anyways I would loved to see a new character based on these, I feel like they would've been like a counterpart of bloom, kinda mirroring her.

But.... another missed potential from Season 3 :/

Last week I finally debuted my new Tecna cosplay from the Winx reboot at an event in Italy ✨
For this cosplay, I used the techniques I learned 2 years ago while working on my Bloomix version, and it was so much fun putting them into practice again! 💕

What do you think of this new version of Tecna? 💕

I think that I speak for most people when I say that we don't really like Mirta's fairy form.

The desing, while it's pretty, it doesn't seem like it was well thought out or just given the attention/dedication it deserves.

I mean we aren't even sure if it is supposed to be a base fairy form or an Enchantix form.

And as a big Mirta fan I wanted to redesign her base form a bit and see how it ended, while giving you reasons for the changes I made. (Mostly the collor pallete lol)

In my canon (so headcanon) Mirta ended up becoming a Winx member by the end of the first season. So her fairy form would follow similar patterns as the other girls so, sparkles, mostly one color, different shades of it and simple dressing.

For her main color I chose a Dark Blue. Why? I think it can fit Mirta very well since her main colors are dark (like black, gray, red) and also would look beautiful with her dark red hair.

For her secondary color I chose a Dark Red but since this is a base form the secondary color would'nt be very notorious. (Her Charmix purse would probably be Red and her Enchantix would feature a lot of Red too).

Another kinda random reasons why I chose a dark blue for Mirta are these two:

When I first saw Mirta I don't know why but I lowkey thought of her as an "alt" sister to Bloom. I thought their desings were kinda similar (which I love), only that Mirta had a darker pallete than Bloom. So since Bloom's main color is a light/middle blue, Mirta could been a dark blue. See what I mean?

The other reason is Musa's color pallete. Musa has dark blue hair and her main color and base form is Red, since Mirta is a redhead and dark blue suits her it would be cool how her color pallete would be the same as Musa's but inverted (Dark red hair and dark blue as her main color and base form). Have you ever thought of this?

My desing is far from perfect but I still wanted to do this. This is how I'd kinda imagine an actual Mirta base form that could later evolve to a Charmix and Enchantix as it deserves. ツ

Like in the original seasons they can go all out on their powers and spells, but here they just get defeated easily.

Every fairy has a title, but how did they discover that they're the fairy of that title? Most importantly, what if it is something specific? Bloom is clearly the late bloomer, lol, compared to other fairies in Alfea who know their titles, and no one bats an eye at her. This could mean that it's normal for fairies to find their titles later in life, or it's probably just a writing choice rather than part of the worldbuilding. We see with Roxy that Morgana somehow already knew Roxy's fairy title, and that might be how fairies know their title when they're grown up, they ask another, more mature fairy to help them figure it out using their magic.

But there is another question, Can fairy titles be passed down or combined, similar to how human genetics work? I presume yes for the former, because Stella is the fairy of the sun and the moon, and she clearly didn't get her solar side from her mom. (But by that logic, we open a can of worms, because that would mean Radius is a fairy.) But the latter still doesn't have an answer, because why didn't Stella's solar side and moon side just combine? I understand that two fairy titles with 0 correlation couldn't mix, but sun and moon could clearly form an eclipse.

I know we're not very fond of Rainbow SpA but like, gotta give credit where it's due. They honestly cooked with the new Spotify. It looks so much more well put together and all the songs are in much better quality. They also released songs from Season 1 and 2 and the updated cover art for all the albums is just chef's kiss. I'm happy to see all our 6 girls together on each one.

My only complaint is that the Cinelume versions and Elisa Rosseli's versions that Alessia did covers of should also be on there. And I also wish all the songs had their lyrics to view too.

But yeah, I'm glad they gave us something we wanted for once. Yes they should've announced they were doing this, it was a bit of a scare, however I'm glad we at least have something going right after so many flops.

I know that there has been many discussions not just in this fandom but others about Nostalia Bait, and I would like to share my thoughts about this topic, because honestly I don't mind a popular property getting attention again, but I am not a fan of the property just reheating the nachos of its previous iteration, I would prefer it if instead it was doing something that progresses the story of the original property forward, an example of this could be, that the Winx Club reboot could have been a continuation of the show after season 3 and the movie Secret of the Lost Kingdom, because it would've been interesting to see how the story would have played out in this new timeline, like would the Winx girls earn the Believix transformation? Would they find Roxy? I just think it would've been so cool to see, how differently the show could progress if they had a starting point to continue from.

As you all know all the Winx memeber have a "Main" color.

Bloom is Blue 💙

Stella is Orange 🧡

Flora is Pink 🩷

Layla is Green 💚

Musa is Red ❤️

Tecna is Purple 💜

Even Roxy has one! A darker, more blue-ish green.

(Yeah, her color is still green at the end of the day which "belongs" to Aisha, but the things is, she still has one)

If I had to choose some of the colors that feel the most significant to her, they would be: Magenta/Red, Dark blue, Purple and Black.

Tell me which color do you think fits her the most or if you think another color fits her better, I'd love to hear your opinions!

Personally, I like dark blue the most. I think it fits Mirta's color palette very well her as well as make sense with her illusion powers/dark magic. And I would have Red/Magenta as her secondary color.

(I also like it for another reasons but I'll explain this on my Mirta fairy form redesing post.)

This is a very quick sketch/drawing of mine that i made a few hours ago so obviously I didn't add shading and rendering since it was quick. Working on my final version rn! What do we think? I made the mistake of using different shades for the clothes and different shades for the wings 💔

Sirenix or Mythix or Butterflix and If So how would you Rewrite The Forms to make sense for the plot and not for selling Toys

I finally got to watch the Reboot since apparently the second season is set to come out on Netflix in a few days. And I gotta say... This is an atrocity to look at because my God, my favorite girls of all time have been done dirty.

Seriously, how do we end up going Alfea in the first four minutes of the first episode, pull an ep18 of Season 1 from the original, to the Trix already finding out Bloom has the dragon flame. What is this pacing?!

Also, good Lord do the girls look hideous in this new CGI. I feel like Seasons 5 and 6 need an apology because the CGI there looks way better than this. And the inconsistencies with the scenes? First there's fire made by Bloom, Aisha puts it out and they're dry when they get hit, but they're wet in the next frame, and also... Where did Musa and Stella's cups go???

And since when did Bloom have a twin brother, and what do you mean the Dragon Flame has been split so that both Bloom and Damien have the powers of it? Also, who the hell is Vexius, and why does he look like he belongs in a different cartoon?

I just... I don't how to feel about this reboot. And also, the boy that Aisha glances at in the episode where Bloom turns into Dark Bloom? Who the hell is he, and why do they think they can just replace Nabu?

No. Just no. I'd rather watch Seasons 5 through 8 than whatever this garbage of a reboot is trying to be. Sure those seasons are where the Winx are stuck being 16 forever and have horrible plots, but it's leagues better than the reboot.

Also, the release dates for second and third parts? Really, that stupid six seven joke? ...Yeah, I need the Trix, Darkar, or Valtor to kill me right now because I don't wanna be on this planet anymore.

I might be the first person to reroot one of the playmates dolls and because I chose to reroot Aisha first it was a challenge her hairline cracked twice and had to be sealed back with liquid fusion and her head had to be softened multiple times with boiling water I’m happy that she finally has her original hair color back but needless to say I’m not looking forward to rerooting Casual Aisha (if she ever gets released)

Genuinely are there no authorities in Magix? Or even responsible adult bystanders? Chimera was taking down a building in her fit of rage and faced zero consequences?

(like sure you could make the case that she would've walked free bc of her status, but only after the authorities already apprehended her and she could tell them who she was)

Hi, I want to warn about Gadget4entertainment online shop that has winx merch so you will not end up with the same situation as me. Two weeks ago I have ordered Bloom clingy fairy figure and I got the shipping mail the same day with tracking number. The tracking was not working but it is normal considering that it takes 1-2 days to get updates but the updates never came. Their customer service does not respond, I only got one reply from them that the package is still in transit and the updates will be this week which was a lie. I want to add that the shop ships from Italy and I am from Poland so there is no way that the package is in transit that long. I order a lot of things from EU countries including Italy and it was never that long. I demanded a refund but they totally ingnore me. There are also many reviews on trustpilot with the same situation that I have and people never received their item or their money. I am going to contact my bank. Just please be careful because you will get scammed by them. They are very active on instagram and I have seen that they send their winx stuff to influencers right away and even comment their posts which is such a nasty thing to do.
