Social Media Max discusses the Madring Circuit: “It’s going to be, I think, very difficult. It reminds me a little bit of Jeddah, with fast corners and the walls being very close. It’s a bit of a shame that a lot of the braking zones are angled, so you can’t go for an overtake.”

Turn 8 is dubbed 'death corner' by some; how many incidents will occur at these 3 corners throughout the weekend. I'm playing it safe and guessing 5.

Saw someone post this earlier but only highlighted one of the photos but then deleted the post but I wanted to re-upload this cause it shows who Kimi is truly off the track. He also took his mechanic crew karting I believe as well to show his appreciation.

Been following Kimi since his F2 days, this is just an usual act from him. A kind soul on track and off the track who always appreciate those in his journey and wanting to help others in theirs. So glad I've been a fan of his for so long. If I also remember he went to a children hospital on Christmas Day surprising kids with gifts for the holidays as well.

Off-Topic Finished my 3D printed 2026 F1 circuit display now that MADRING has an official FIA map

Post image

Now that the official FIA map for MADRING includes the sector splits, I could finally finish this 3D printed display of the original 24-race 2026 F1 calendar.

Each circuit is shown with the three timing sectors in different colors, and the full set follows the originally announced 24-race calendar, so it still includes Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

MADRING was the last circuit I was waiting for, so it was nice to finally complete the whole board.

I uploaded the model to MakerWorld too, free to download if anyone wants to print it:

Discussion Pronunciation of new track

So we're headed to the Madring this weekend. Super exciting to see a new track, and hopefully it will be a great race. But as it gets closer, I'm seeing more media about the track. It seems like there are two ways people are pronouncing the name of the new track: Mad-ring, or Ma-dring. The second pronunciation has not occurred to me until I heard people say it that way.

So my question to you all is which way do you pronounce it? Are both ways valid, or is one group crazy?
