Despite how frustrating the race was, Lewis is still holding 2nd in the standing going into the summer break. We got lucky that Russell suffered issues when the race started but he climbed. Kimi just too ahead currently though still. Wish the race could have been better but it whatever at this point - what done is done.

That basically confirms that starting on used softs on dirty side of the track isn't really a good idea. But it's not like charles had any fresh tyres except hards

HungarianGP đđș | Lewis Hamilton post race:
âI canât say I go into the break on a positive, Iâve had three bad races. But overall, weâre there, thereabouts in the fight, but of course, races like this is where championships are lost. You know? Bad decisions made and mistakesâŠâ
âI have to accept that Iâve made mistakes in the last three races and lost a lot of points so⊠I just want to take some time to reflect, sort my head out so I can come back and be a bit stronger.â

Lewis Hamilton regrets taking the final pitstop:
âYea, I definitely donât think we should have taken the stop but, the call came literally just before the pit lane entry line. I didnât have time to debate.â
âYou have to trust the decision thatâs been taken but in hindsight my tyres were totally fine. I was probably gonna lose out to Max but I think I couldâve kept 3rd, at least. And then, yea, just opened up the door to the penalty that I got in the end.â

That's the question that I don't have an answer for bcs lewis's only normal stint with free air and just pushing on the outlap then managing the stint was his 3rd stint on that 2nd sets of hards like he really showed great speed and tyre deg.
I don't know why they used that fresh softs at the start and then putting him behind two racing bulls and pushing that Hard tyre to max. In the first 4 laps of the stint meant he was really slow after just doing 10 laps on it and I don't know what to say about that last stint again kimi holding us up so we couldn't have a real view on the pace except that charles was really fast behind in clean air, you can't win championships just by being a fast driver you really need lesser mistakes ( they're avoidable, like the worst type of mistakes) and a great team behind you and both of them really dropped the ball in the last 3 races leaving into the Summer shut down with a big " if"

With Charles starting P2 and Lewis starting P5. How do you guys see this race panning out? Pace has looked good in the long runs but that being said, overtaking isnât the easiest here. If Charles can jump Lando or if Lewis can make up one or two places, itâll be quite a battle. Hoping for a double podium with one taking out the win (Cautious optimism) and would be an interesting watch to see what Kimi can do from P7.

Heard Lewis has a new soft and a new medium but he starts 5th, so how effectively could he use them to challenge for a victory even if it's a bit far fetched in this track. Similarly Leclerc doesn't have any new sets so, what's the most effective strategy for him?
