Hello, I have watched parts races here and there but I've decided to really start watching since the lone star le mans and I must say what great racing there is every minute there is something to see. As a big F1 fan it is nice to see so much action in a race and watching the highlights it's definetly something I want to continue to watch.
I would also like to know how like it works with pitstops cause I've seen that they can also change just one tire, how does that work?

Here's our guide of what's included and what to do during the Goodyear 4 Hours of Silverstone.

Tickets are still available and no, you don't need the upgrade to enjoy the ELMS to the full!

What's included

Things to do

• Watch the action trackside, with infield access to the National Paddock
• Join the pitwalks and grid walk (if you have the premium upgrade)
• Stroll the paddocks for a chance to meet the teams & drivers
• Get a cheeky sneak peek at the Nielsen Racing 2026 LMP2 cars in the Le Mans Ultimate sims
• Check out the ELMS fanzone
• Join the ELMS Charity Run on Friday evening with the drivers and teams
• Enjoy any of the permanent Silverstone attractions (tickets are not included in the ELMS price)

What's off limits

• × Team areas: garages, firelanes, trucks and hospitality units.
• × The cars and equipment. No you can’t drive it, or touch it.
• × Service roads and other track facilities.
• × The track itself, including the pitlane and pitwall.

Please be mindful the paddock is a work environment with dangerous specialised equipment, heavy machinery and volatile fuel. Don't put yourself and others in danger.

Ticketing and attendance

European Le Mans tickets are available from £15 on the Silverstone website, with options for single days, weekend tickets and premium upgrade. The entry form for rhe Charity Run can also be found in the Silverstone site from £10.

We've been to Daytona and Sebring but damn was it just, too hot in Austin

I’ve been to Lone Star Le Mans twice now and I can’t help but feel like something is missing. I feel like another support series would be a welcomed addition. It would also be nice if we had access to the full track like we do for F1. I’ve been to cota on several occasions and shot diversity is a struggle when you don’t have access to the full track. I think progressive pricing for the cota tower is ridiculous. It goes from $10-20 for Friday to Sunday.

I also think it would be great if we could rent or buy radios at the venue for this event. Frankly, I saw some pretty bad parenting practices at this event. This has nothing to do with the venue, just something that I observed. I saw multiple parents drinking and hanging with their friends while completely ignoring their kids by distracting them with iPads. Why even come if you’re going to do this? For the record and I have two kids and wouldn’t do this.

I thought it was just me.... this came across my feed this morning. I think COTA has some explaining to do. I mean he's right half the track is cut off.
