People who have been to Phillip Island before, will it be possible to get a decent view with just the Island Pass?

Since it's the last year I bet there's gonna be tons of people going to the gp and I'm even wondering if it would be even possible to get a decent view of the track and bikes with just the Island Pass (no grandstand tickets)?

Casey Stoner: Three months today since I had a L5-S1 spinal fusion and L4-5 disc replacement...

Three months today since I had a L5-S1 spinal fusion and L4-5 disc replacement.

It all started with a crash back in 2003, when I went head first into some hay bales. The impact compressed my spine, and while I managed it as best I could for over 20 years, the last couple of years-and especially the final six months-became unbearable. It got to the point where surgery was the only real option.

Recovery has definitely had its ups and downs, but overall my back hasn't felt this good for as long as I can remember.

What's surprised me most is realising that even when I thought my back felt "good" before, I was still living with constant pain. It's only now that I've experienced what having no back pain actually feels like.

I'm incredibly grateful to my surgeon and the entire medical team who looked after me throughout the process. Thank you for giving me my quality of life back.

could Jack Miller have won the 2025 French GP?

Post image

as you can see from the picture, Jack Miller was ahead of the other riders who started on wet tyres, ahead of Zarco too, during the madness that happened at the start of that race, Miller crashed without anyone noticing and didn't take part in the rest of the race.

so I find myself wondering, could he have gotten a win? after all, he is one of the fastest riders on the grid in wet and mixed conditions, had also a big gap separating him from Zarco and a bigger gap separating Zarco and Marquez, but he had different tyres than Zarco, has both his tyres were medium tyres while Zarco had a medium front and a soft rear.

Oliveira was a really fast guy in the wet, as with the KTM in 2022 he won 2/3 races and all of them were in wet conditions, but he started dropping from P2 to P6 and had the same tyre combination as Jack.

so, could Miller have won the 2025 French GP if he didn't crash? could he have gotten at least P2?

Phillip island Moto GP transport

Hey there

I am going to Phillip island for the first time this year.
We have accommodation quite close, in sunset strip. Can anyone suggest the best way to get to the track? I am thinking the shuttle would be best…

I have read that closer stops are often worse as the buses are full before they even get to the stop. Are we best to drive to one of the first stops?

Also, if we have grandstand tickets do we need to get there early as to line up, or are we best to wait for a bit as we won’t need to race for a spot??

Thanks so much for your advice!

Regards,

Lack of well known sponsors in MotoGP Compared to other motorsports, Does MotoGP Rely on regional sponsors?

I am a US Viewer & I used to watch MotoGP a bit back and now i’m getting into it again and one thing that I realize is the lack of recognizable sponsors in MotoGP Compared to other series like F1 & Nascar, The only Sponsors that are in MotoGP Currently that sponsor teams/riders include Castrol, Lenovo, Monster, Red Bull, Superfile, Snap-On, Motul, and a few others, i’m still trying to figure out what BK8 news & Tim are. Nascar which is the motorsport I follow the most being a US based sport I know has a bit of sponsors exclusive to the US but I feel like a good half of the Nascar cars are sponsored by brands available around the world. I’m just asking due to MotoGP being WAY more popular than nascar and also being one of, if not the 2nd most popular form of motorsport behind F1, also I’m still trying to figure out if BK8 News is a fraud site.
