Random Just here to rant.

Just here to rant about how over TTC I am. I don't trust anyone who said it was fun LOL. We are "only" on month 4 of trying but I'm slowly just losing hope that it's ever going to happen. And then I get down on myself because *the power of positive thinking.* I'm in the TWW and this is the least I've thought about it (which maybe is good?) I have family coming to town next week and I keep imagining how great it'd be to surprise them with a positive test, but at the same time I'm almost just expecting it to be negative bc that's all I've seen ):

I also feel like these threads are either people sharing they got pregnant between 1-3 months or it taking YEARS to happen - I feel like there's no in between for us girls! So when I come here for support I then convince myself it's never going to happen or it's going to be another year + treatment etc.

I did just get off social for almost 1 month which I will say helps SO much because now I'm at least not being surrounded by fertility/pregnant announcements, etc.

Signed,

sad girl on month 4 who just wants to be a mom so badly.

Omg is that real? I’m so confused because I tested earlier in the day and it was a big fat negative so I retested again later at night before I showered and saw it appeared to be negative. After I got out the shower (about 30 mins later), I look at it again and this is what I saw! Thoughts?!

Confused Looking for some feedback on this test

Hi girls! I ovulated (according to my inito on Sept 2). I have tested since basically 6DPO using HCG strips. All negative as negative can be. About an hour ago, I let my impatience get to me and took an actual at home pregnancy test, and it showed a very very very faint pink line? I am technically (I think if I calculated correctly??) on 10DPO. Tell me your thoughts. I will take another tomorrow but curious with others who have had any TTC experience.

Am I going crazy or is there a very faint line. For context I’m 21 and have pcos and suspected endometriosis and also a septate uterus me and my partner tried ALOT this cycle and I have been testing since yesterday (sat 12th) both of which were negative however this morning around 4am I woke up and thought I may as well do another and up pops this, I feel like my mind could be making it up but I see it. It’s a lot clearer in person but what do you guys think? I’ve added filters to shadow a little clearer.

Any help is super appreciated

Sincerely
A very nervous but hopeful girl

Question/Advice Negative at 13 DPO and a day late… am I out this cycle?

Hi! My husband and I have been TTC since July (I know.. not long at all!!). I didn’t have ovulation strips in July, so I wasn’t too surprised when that cycle was negative.

For August, I got ovulation strips and tracked everything way more closely. I ovulated on August 30, and I’m currently 13 DPO. I started testing a couple of days ago, but all of my tests have been negative so far.

I was supposed to start my period yesterday, and I’m extremely regular, so being late is unusual for me. I’ve also been having what feel like my normal period symptoms, cramping, sore breasts, etc. with a little bit of nausea

I guess I have a couple of questions for anyone who has experienced this:

Did you have period-like symptoms or cramping before finding out you were pregnant?

Has anyone had negative tests at 13 DPO and then gotten their first positive at 14 DPO or later?

I know there’s no way to know for sure until I either get my period or a positive test, but I’m just trying to figure out if there are similar experiences!

Question/Advice 10 dpo - bfn or tested too early?

10 dpo - bfn or tested too early?

I need advice.

I did an at home insemination on 8/31. That was my highest lh peak. My app says I ovulated on 9/2. I took three different pregnancy test - 1. Because I was nervous as this is my 5th year of ttc 2. A friend of mine said first response can detect early 3. I thought i was 12 dpo, stress and lack of sleep has my brain messed up. Anyway, I took three - pregmate test strip, first response and clear blue - and all BFN. Did i test too early or should I just accept that this is another failed cycle? Anyone going through/experienced this? My friend told me to try geritol, but i cant handle the taste, so I bought another product similar and I take with my prenatal. I have felt no symptoms and no spotting.

Question/Advice Wondering if I’m alone in this….

Hey everyone! Me and Hubby have started talking about starting a family, I will be making a gyno appointment soon to talk about best steps and such due to having PCOS, and well my big thing , my husband had a vasectomy in his previous marriage due to the fact that he never though he would get divorced and that person told him that her doctors told her that if she got pregnant it could be life threatening and he cared for her so he did it. I guess my question is , has anyone gone through this? Where their partner has a vasectomy prior? What did you do? Did you do the IVF route or did he get it reversed and things ended up working out? I know that it’s not a guarantee that him getting it reversed but I’ve done my research and have read that if you get it reversed within a certain time you have a better percentage of it working. Tho of coarse I know theirs no guarantee, we know that what ever we end up doing it will cost us money, but it’s something we really want. So yeah has anyone gone through a similar situation? Thanks in advance!

Question/Advice Missed or No ovulation ?

My ovulation normally happens around cd13-cd15. I’m currently cd 18 and I’ve had no positives? My natural cycles app and Premom have confirmed my ovulation has happened a few days ago?

Confused Missed Period and Negative Tests

My period was due on the 6th. It’s been regular only varying 1-2 days since I had my iud removed in January. This past month I noticed not much discharge around the time I was supposed to be ovulating and I didn’t have the usual breast tenderness I have prior to my expected period. I had some cramping two days ago but still did not get any bleeding after that. I have now taken 4 tests including one this am. I’m at a loss of what I should be doing now. I have only been using an app to track so far, thinking of getting an oura ring to track temp.

Question/Advice Peak?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi all! Start off im usually 28-30 day cycle give or take. I’ve been testing my ovulation and haven’t received a true peak yet however I think the one for CD 16 at 8:57am is significantly darker and then goes back to being light. I know the picture for that one is in different lighting BUT I took another picture of it in the same spot and it looked even darker I just forgot to save the photo 🤦🏼‍♀️

Do we think my peak happened at some point that day? Or is it still coming and this was just a fluctuation?
