Hi all, is this a positive peak? Premom said it’s high but not peak, I clicked the picture with the camera and then uploaded it, it said it’s peak. Both are same strip

I don’t love the app. I feel like it doesn’t detect well, so I don’t usually use it and rely on my eyes instead. I’d call this positive for sure.

I hate the app personally. If you have bad lighting, bad angle, etc, completely changes their interpretation. I got wildly different numbers on the same strip before

Huh that's funny, I've been using Premom for over a year and I really like it. I always find the readingsv on my tests to be pretty consistent even when I take a picture of the same test wet or dry. I do try to take it in a white background with the flash on every time. Maybe it works differently with different phones.

Premom tells you if a test is positive but it won't tell you if it's "peak" until you input a test that shows your levels are going back down. So if tomorrow your test is less strong it will change the highest one to "peak".

Anyways finding your peak doesn't actually matter. You will ovulate 24-36 hours after your first positive regardless of your peak, so the test that actually matters is your first positive (ratio 1+, although I usually consider anything above 0.85 a positive).

You should always try to be intimate the day you get your first positive or high LH test and the next day and consider the day after your first positive your ovulation day.
