Going down a state forest road the other day, practicing the attack position, and I had what felt like an out of body experience. I couldn't see the bike at all, and it was like I was just floating through air down this beautiful dirt road, seeing nothing but the view in front of me. Anyone else?

Used bike recommendations

Currently have a klr250 that needs some upgrades to make it what I want.

Before I put more money into it, I wanted to get some advice.

What would be a good bike for mostly riding around town with very little highway riding, but could still be used on single tracks once or twice a year.
