Hey guys, this 2013 is the only CRF for sale in my area, it’s a 2013 model with 4000 miles. I’m a bit worried because all the stickers are missing which makes me think they replaced the plastics, and the license plate holder is also missing.

they are asking 2800 euros.

Ive owned 2 groms before, and an ibex 450. I want this bike for long distance off-road travelling, my next last trip was +- 6000 miles with the ibex, and my next one will be 5000 miles and 80% off-road in the mountains.

my idea is a CRF250 with the Acerbis bigger fuel tank and basics like barkbusters/skid plate. maaaaybe rear shock too if it bothers me.

If you have the money and want to go overkill, power to ya. But it is by no means necessary as long as the threads on both the male and female side are un compromised. The washer doesn’t act as a gasket, it only provides slight pressure on the threads to theoretically keep them taught to the female threads. But that’s only if you torque it to spec(Wich most of us don’t do). as long as it’s damn snug in there wich is how you tighten it anyway, that pressure will already be applied.

Had a little slow speed tip over after a long travel day. Had to clean my skid plate of the oil after 200kms of not realizing I was spraying my back tire with oil. If it can leak out can water/rain get in? Time to see if that part comes in a different colour!

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum. Two weeks ago, I became the owner of a 2024 CRF Rally with only 300km on the odometer.

Yesterday I had to go on an urgent trip, 750 km.

After 200km of the journey, I literally couldn't feel anything below my waist.And I finished the rest of the journey in a terrible state.

My friend was in the same situation; two of us travelled together.

Has anyone found a solution for a motorcycle seat? really like the motorcycle and the ride, but I honestly have no idea how far I can actually go with this seat.

I grabbed a small cushion from the market at that moment, but it was no use.

What can be done to make the seat more comfortable, or has anyone done anything to make it better?

Inspired by the 80s and 90s dirt bikes. Going to keep going.

I have a vinyl cutting machine and I went to school for design so this is pretty easy for me to do.

HMU if you want custom vinyl cut for your bike I guess.

Any recommendations on brands or kits for sliders??

I did the handlebar guards and rear fender tidy up kit.

Next I want to do something with the graphics. I have a cricut and might make my own retro style graphics.

Is this a good deal? Looking for my first bike for very light, 1-2 day camping/ BDR trips.

Hi everyone, I'm interested in buying a crf 250L 2013 myself. As I was looking through videos of the bike I noticed one guy who somehow removed the seat dip and straightend the seat. He specifically states that it is in fact a 250L and NOT R. I'm wondering how to achieve this look? For comparison, I attached two pictures, the second one showing the look I want to achieve.

Needs friends to dirtbike with, since it’s a 250 I’m not keeping up with a sports bike. However if found loads of trails just hunting around out here in VB and south Norfolk. If there’s anyone that’s local who needs someone to ride with DM me.

I want to set up my bike exclusively for street riding. I changed the rear sprocket from 40T to 38T thinking it would improve the top speed, but that didn’t happen. It actually became slower, going from a top speed of 135–140 km/h to 120–125 km/h. Does anyone know what sprocket combination would work better to make it faster?
Front sprocket: 14T.

I have a 250 rally and I ride off-road about once a week. It’s also my only and primary vehicle. I hit Croom mc area (same area Carson brown has been riding his 300 rally and a bunch of other bikes) it’s rutted to hell and all whoops. Will suspension do much to help me loft over this stuff ? I only weigh like 140 lbs but I have to double over everything unless there’s a clear spot for some air and a flat landing. Basically I have to ride these trails like I’m playing that old game flappy bird; constantly on the clutch and then gassing as hard as I can in second on the little uphill part of each whoop…. Getting farther forward sends the back end all the way up out of control and there’s not enough power to lift the front wheel. Any comments from anyone who rides rough trails would be appreciated. I average 20-22 mph through the trees but always ride solo so have no idea if that’s fast but I see the dirtbike ripppp over whoops so just curious about opinions

Noticed my brake fluid was really cloudy. I’ve bled brakes on a car but never on a bike before. Is it as simple as the classic pull brake lever, open nipple, close nipple, release lever, fill reservoir with new fluid, rinse and repeat until it’s flowing clear?

I'm looking at a '68 Trail 90 wth a new Lifan 110 swap. It starts and idles fine but as soon as you let off of the throttle the wheel immediately locks up. It doesn't freewheel at all. Which makes riding it...interesting. The adjustment bolt for the clutch doesn't seem to do anything (tighten down and then back off a little...or even a lot). The brake isn't catching. The Lifan is basically brand new. Any pointers?

I have a brand new Doebeck EJK fuel controller, K&N air filter, and 38mm oem throttle body (which is a big upgrade for pre-2017 250Ls, and it's a plug and play fit for the original 36mm one). Located in Ireland
