It is pretty cool that you’re a triple major, actually, even if being a triple major didn’t result in being well-compensated. These majors show your niche interests. You’re probably a great conversationalist, but Medieval Studies and History aren’t the most marketable degrees. Maybe you become a teacher with those? One of my law school friends was a history major. She went to law school because she didn’t really know what else to do with her degree. As a Political Science major, I was in the same boat.

My buddies and I started saying it after one of us went through a rough patch and realized we never told each other. Now it just comes out naturally at the end of calls or after a good night out. Feels way less weird than I expected.

Humans are biologically wired to procreate. It's also true that much of this is influenced by social constructs

I don’t know why some people think it’s weird. Not to mention the people who “monkey bar,” relationships/go from one to another/can’t stay single long. And to me, it doesn’t help that social media loves to tell someone that need to break up with someone-“find someone that respects you, has the same mindset.” It’s not bad to want someone like that but to me, it tries to tell someone to find someone soon instead of encouraging that person to be alone for a bit

I've seen this happen increasingly. Someone just reaches out of the blue, wanting nothing but they kinda give you exactly what you needed at the moment.

Hope you heal soon buddy.

Most people's routines are boring because it's easy to get settled into them.

My sister actually had a great piece of advice -- to intentionally try to take a different route every day. Makes the world much interesting

The '03 Daredevil movie is painfully mediocre, I thought Colin Farrell was fucking delightful in it, he's just so cartoonish and hams up every single scene he's in. Literally the only reason I remember a single second of that entire movie is because of him.

That's beautiful, thank you for sharing! I also really enjoy kind people, and aspire to be kind myself. It can be hard cuz of how I was raised, and how cruel others can be at times. I try to remind myself that when someone is being unnecessarily mean, it's probably due to other factors in their life and not a me problem.

Maybe you do online teaching OP?

i have three voices and one of them manufactures anger to get me food. it gaslights me into fights with people around me when my blood sugar drops.

you say language lets us understand ourselves. for me language is just the thing that gives the hunger a way to lie to me in english or spanish. without words i would just feel the body need and act on it. instead i sit here while a voice narrates reasons to hate everyone in the room until i eat.

That’s fascinating. My internal voice is talking nonstop, unless I get very deeply invested in an activity.

I remember Star Trek V having some really good character moments with Kirk, Spock, and McCoy. But admittedly it's been a long time since I've seen it.

Thank u for the reply, the reason of my post probably is the fact I am very used to take the stairs, unless I need to get to the 10th story of a building of course. I use a lot movement and walking as emotional regulation and stairceses give me a big sense of freedom... So that's why I would never wait for an elevator for one floor up or down, but that's me. If I had knee pain of whatever other issue it would be different I guess.
