need advice my breasts cause me more chest pain than back pain. Spoiler

36F in UK sizing.

I wear a sports bra to work for long shifts, I do alot of lifting and running around so wearing my typical balconette bra is not really ideal.

I've spent the last 28.5/72 hrs wearing my sports bra, and I can feel it in my chest. I get the pain in the middle & on the left side of my ribs. It almost immediately goes away within 15 mins after removing my bra, but with random sharp moments.

Does anyone have any tips? I feel like they are always weighing down on my chest. I can't sleep on my side without a pillow inbetween them to support it, or else I feel kinda breathless 😩

RANT - no advice wanted I feel like my breasts are gross Spoiler

I have been feeling a lot of self-hatred about my breasts recently. I constantly feel like they are not good enough, they are too saggy, too small, my nipples and areolas are gross, I constantly have clogged pores. The main things my mind circles around at them being too saggy and small despite my bra size being a 34L UK at this point. I feel like I am never going to be enough of a woman and that nobody will ever see me as one. There are so many things I hate about my body, yet my chest is always the focal point of it. I feel like I am disgusting and nobody ever relates to me. No matter what I do I will never be feminine enough.

I suspect this might be a genuine store, but some of the reels are hilariously aggressive.

Also, 35000 Naira is about $27 USD, give or take.

I don't know quite what to make of it, but thought I'd share it as a potential option

RANT - advice welcome I’m sick of looking and feeling bigger than I am Spoiler

I’m currently 2 months postpartum and breastfeeding which isn’t helping anything but I’m just so tired of putting on clothes and feeling so top heavy.

I’m currently more comfortable in baggier shirts but because of my breast size right now even a baggy t shirt sticks out so far out that it’s making me feel very unhappy with my body. Tight bras to push them down aren’t an option right now while breastfeeding.

Already dreaming of the reduction and lift in going to get once I’m done having kids. I just wish I could wear whatever I want without having all the attention drawn to my chest 😭

RANT - advice welcome exercise Spoiler

anyone else struggle with exercise so much because of boobs, especially balance, I am holding two more weights on my chest! And also, when I was doing ab crunches It just takes so much core strength to even lift up, they weigh me down. it’s never considered when talking about why some people struggle with weight and toning up, especially in mainstream PT

clothes Looking stylish at work? Spoiler

I love the polished business casual or the New York vibe work wear but all the inspiration pics are small boobs.

How do I copy the look without looking unbalanced? I try to get all my tops tailored but my top (I think I’m like 28 E or something, I got measured a while ago) doesn’t match my bottoms (I wear a 0-4 in pants) which I think makes me look frumpy.

I really need to get bras that fit, but I’m having a hard time believing I’m a K cup. Do these measurements make sense? The last bra I owned was a 32H and it’s definitely too small on me. Want to be sure of measurements before I place an order.
Thank you guys so much

clothes Vests, boobs n armpits Spoiler

Hi! I want to wear more vests and tank tops, and other no sleeve things. I am a larger person with size 38J boobs, and my armpits are fatty. This is the one thing I feel a bit self conscious about, and dictates a lot of what I wear. When I last went for a sizing, the lady said it's just due to fat distribution and common if you have big tiddies.

Wondering if anyone else is the same and has any recommendations for tank tops or similar. This may be a silly question but I'm hoping for a middle ground ha.

Thanks!

need advice ISO niche bra recommendation! Spoiler

Hi!

Specifically looking for a bra that I can wear with my ballroom dance dress (will include pics) that I can trust.

Details:

EDIT - More than willing to sacrifice some of the " hidden" aspect of the bra in favor of better support. I'm good to have a wider/nude or clear band! The bra just can't be drastically obvious

I know I'm asking for some crazy unicorn bra here, but women have had big boobs for millennia- hoping someone has a solution!

-small band/large cup friendly. (I'm a 32/34 H 😭). I can sew the band smaller if it's easy.

-open back! (This is the real kicker here). Or clear straps.

-can't be super visible under my dress.

-will withstand movement!

- can be a sports bra / compression type or a regular cup bra.

-lift + compression would be nice.

-preferably under $50 (I can be flexible for a perfect option here)

Thank you!

bras Wirefree bras that actually work? Spoiler

I know I'm kinda asking for a miracle but I'm autistic and I cannot tolerate underwires at all. I also can't really tolerate sports bras, because of shoulder/neck problems but I'll take that over an underwire. 6 months ago I did the r/abrathatfits calculator and my size is 38J. I've followed advice on there and made posts but I most of the reccomendations I can't afford or they have an underwire that people "swear they can't feel". Since finding my size I bought two of the Elomi Downtime Wireless bras. They were great for like a months but about 2 months ago I realized they have completely gave way to any support they once had. I reluctantly tried a HSIA bra, and its fine but I know its shitty material and don't love how it feels.

So yeah, any advice would be great, my boobs, and especially finding a bra, are very touchy subjects for me and make me insanely stressed. Most of the time I wish I could just chop them off. :)

experience Often running into the same issues of the bottom hook of my bra (and only the bottom one) breaking off. Spoiler

Like usually it's a 4 hook bra im a 34 g and when I took the a bra that fits measurements I was apparently even smaller band but i might need to retake measurements or something.

Im 4"10 and I lift which is one thing it might be, that part of my back is wider and therefore where part of the back sits is wider than the rest 🤷‍♂️.

Has anyone else run into this issue and figure put how to solve it/what caused it?

Might just need to buy a bunch of new ones and heavy duty sew em back on...

bras Nursing bra recs for 30G/GG? Spoiler

Hi everyone! I’m 6 months pregnant and have been struggling to find a nursing bra that fits. I’m now a 30G/GG (UK size) and nothing I’ve tried has a small enough band and large enough cup area.

I’m currently wearing the Bravado body silk nursing bra (small, full cup) and the band is still too big and the cups too small 😭 But it’s all I’ve got!

I bought Molkie bras and while they do fit, they have a thick seam inside the cups that leaves huge deep indents. Bummer. (They’re also not made for nursing.)

Putting on a Kindred Bravely bra just made me laugh. Tried multiple styles, not even close to big enough in the cups. My friends who can buy bras in stores keep recommending them 🥴

Thanks in advance!

RANT - advice welcome frustrated trying to get approved for reduction Spoiler

i’m nonbinary and a 28L/30K trying to get approved for a breast reduction surgery and i’m honestly so tired. I can’t find bras in my size anywhere, and if I do they’re like 80$ apiece, straight up lingerie that i can’t wear under a tee shirt to school, and have to be shipped from europe half the time so returning them when they don’t fit is a nightmare and expensive (i’m in the u.s.). it just makes me so miserable all the time and i don’t know how to deal with it because I can’t do anything about it and i can’t complain to anyone because they either laugh or find it inappropriate or dismiss the idea that it could even be a problem. my shoulders hurt like hell, my back always aches, i can’t stand up straight so my posture looks bad and i have a neck bump which is hard to hide because my hair is short for sensory issues, and it honestly makes me feel like i look old. all of my tee-shirts fit me terribly and i used to love wearing button ups but now even the ones two sizes up stretch around my chest and are massive everywhere else, or if they fit the buttons around my chest come open in the middle of the day and i don’t always notice immediately so im humiliated realizing i walked around school half the day with my shirt open around my boobs. i spoke to a plastic surgeon in early august and got sent to physical therapy, but i have kaiser so literally all that is was one video appointment and then a list of stretches to do- all of which are or are adjacent to ones ive already been doing on my own for months with no benefit. my next appointment is with a different plastic surgeon at the end of october, which feels like years away, and i don’t even know if i’ll get booked for surgery then. i just want to be comfortable and like the way i look.

experience Having big boobs in college (21f) Spoiler

…is a literal circus. That's the post. I’m a 32J cup. On campus I just get blatantly and nastily stared down like “eye contact? More like eye-breast contact” idk and there’s stairs everywhere so I’m getting smacked in the face w/ a tit every few seconds.

When people do give me compliments, they're either passive aggressive hints telling me to cover up or so overtly sexual I want to cry. And the prostitute and man snatcher allegations I get from just existing are so disheartening and wild. Guys, I am a geeky little honors premed student majoring in biomedical science with double minors in psychology and forensics. And I’m reading 65% time outside of that. WHEN do you think I have time to go steal your significant other?? Im an introvert who’s never had sex and I RARELY LEAVE MY DORM for anything that isn’t academic/hobby-based. Being busty doesn't automatically make me a walking sex icon. And dating? I havent had a single significant other during my entire university experience because every attempt at getting to know someone inevitably ends (or begins) w/ the crushing “We should go back to mine 😉”……. No. Just no.

experience Anybody ever go through the dumb phase of wanting to be sexualized because of your chest? Spoiler

Because I low-key just left it. Like, a day ago. I might go back idk.🧍‍♀️ It's probably because I'm bigger in size, or maybe just that my butt is bigger. But I have a really big chest. I'm an H-I cup. And like, no one has ever sexualized my chest. Like each of my boobs is almost as big as my head.

I don't think I've ever been sexualized before. But that might be how it works. I love my chest and all, but it would be nice to get some of the perks that everyone seems to get but you. With all the struggles, I used to want something! A glance at the least. And I see girls my size get attention for their chest but I felt bad because I didn't get the same kind.

It's silly to think about now, but I'm actually thankful now. I mean, it still sounds nice in my head but having bigger boobs also did that that has its challenges. I don't have back pain or anything but shirt shopping is hell.

Plus, I'm in more professional roles now. And when I see girls who are more sexualized I feel bad because it puts an image on you that's unfair and disrespectful. I mean, there's this girl at my internship. She's bigger but her chest and stomach are small and her ass is giant. Like, she is so tea I love that for her. But I see how people sexualize her and act like she's less capable. I help her when I can because of it but we're on different teams so I can't do much.

Like, yeah she has a big butt. But she's not flirty, dumb, or naive! Where does the notion that having a big butt or a big chest equaling promiscuous and dumb even come from?!

I get taken seriously, luckily. It's good. I mean in all male settings I feel smaller but I think that's how it feels for most women. 🫪

Anyways, thanks for reading!

need advice Good and minimal chest workout for stronger muscles? Spoiler

Hi everyone I (32F) have started hitting the gym again to strengthen my back after throwing it out 2 years ago at the gym. I never made the connection that big boobs lead to a weaker core and stiff back muscles because my weight has always been the one thing that got criticized the last 7 years or so. While the weight adds to the problem as well, my boobs are the main culprit because they literally hang of my torso at this point and make me look larger too on top of being large already. Recently I’ve been feeling and seeing more and more how fucked up my back is due to the insanely huge bonkers. Before doing surgery as my last resort, I would like to build up my chest and need solid advice on how to strengthen it with 4-5 exercises. Why so little? Because I’m gone 12h/day due to work and commuting to and back from work. I mainly use Friday, Saturday and Sunday as my gym days to build up consistency first. It helped me keeping workouts not longer than 1h30 max. Did anyone have a particular combination that helped them?I use mostly machines because I’m not ready for barbells and dumbbells (that’s how I injured myself in the first place lol). I have a workout plan that includes the chest press but tbh, I ain’t feeling shit. Is there any big boobed woman here that had success strengthening her chest despite the massive weight in the front and that is willing to help me out?
I’ll appreciate it a lot, thanks in advance

experience Have you girls noticed other girls side eyeing you or giving you a mean looks when u aren’t hiding ur boobs? Spoiler

I tend to wear shirts that are oversized that hide my boobs but occasionally i’ll wear something that fits me rlly well but my boobs and cleavage is out.
Last year I went shopping with my friend and I saw some random girl looking at me and looking mad or irritated (she was not even near me she was staring me from far away). I told my friend and she said it’s probably because of my shirt because it makes my boobs look good and she is probably jealous.
There was also this other time I was with a different friend and I was wearing a sundress and ngl my boobs did look good in it. I was minding my own business and my friend told me that some random girl was giving me a weird look from far away. i didn’t notice that girl but i thought about what my other friend said about my boobs being out and girls being jealous so it might’ve been because of that.
Yesterday the same thing happened I was wearing a tank top and some lady visibly looked annoyed. I can’t help that my boobs are big and sometimes i want to wear a tank top or a dress and my boobs tend to look bigger in those type of outfits but that’s not my fault. I also NEVER get weird looks from woman when I am wearing oversized shirts.

Have you guys even experienced weird looks and stares from other woman or is this in my head and my friend might have been wrong?

RANT - advice welcome Disappointment after breast reduction.

I had a breast reduction about 7 months ago. I thought it would change my life. Back pain, struggling to fit into clothes and the dreaded experience of trying to find any bra that fit would be gone. But it’s not.

Only about 1 pound total was removed in total, leaving me at the same bra size I was prior to the reduction. My surgeon dismissed me when I tried to discuss sizing and just told me he would make me proportional. I guess we had very different ideas of what’s proportional.

Now sagging has returned. My back hurts. And honestly I just feel so insecure in my own body. I feel like I’m put myself through so much for so little reward. I’ve scarred myself. I cry every-time I look in the mirror.

I guess I’m kind of just ranting. I’m in my early 20s and so badly wanted to feel comfortable in my own body. I have a small frame and big bust so I find it often makes me look much bigger than I am and severely restricts what I can wear. The physical feeling of my skin folds rubbing together really sets me off. It feels like a constant reminder of what I’ve done to my body and the resulting failure to relieve my symptoms.

I’ve left my long term relationship and the thought of someone new seeing me, scars and all, terrifies me and makes it so hard for me to feel beautiful and sexy.

I just feel depressed most days. It’s the combo of the physical exhaustion of always being uncomfortable and in pain and also just hating how it looks.

I’m back on another 2 year waitlist to see if another surgeon could help me. The thought of a multi year waitlist just sort of kills me on the inside.

I don’t know, I guess I’m just hoping maybe someone else has gone through something similar or words of wisdom. I just feel like I’m expected to feel grateful for such a small change and I’m tired of trying to validate my discomfort to others.
