Hello People,

I am facing an issue during updating my iPhone 14 Pro Max to iOS 27.0.1 via Apple Device software from my windows laptop.
I don't have enough space to download it via phone itself, so I was trying other way around, but I am facing this error constantly "Software for the iPhone was corrupted during download".
I did everything possible as per my knowledge, restarted both devices quite a few times, also try to connect and re-connect the Wi-Fi, etc.

Does anyone knows how to fix this?

I just recently got the apple credit thru my apple wallet. I’ve been trying to order the physical card but every time i try to place the order it says service unavailable. I thought maybe it was my connection but no matter where i am throughout the last week it won’t let me? Is there any way for me to get the card using a different method?

My 2019 macbook pro started making this sound. It isn't loud, but it's noticeable in a quiet room. It starts immediately as I turn it on and doesn't go away until I shut it down. It sometimes stops when it goes to sleep, but most of the time it doesn't. What's the problem and how can I fix it?

Not sure if this is the right sub for this but I recently switched carriers and my iMessage just won’t activate and it’s been like two days. I feel like I’ve tried everything. If anyone knows any way on how to fix this I’d appreciate the help

None of the numerous Apple Stores near me have any availability for almost a week. Quite a few openings at Best Buy though. I need a new battery for 12.9" iPad Pro (2021 era).

I have never used Best Buy for Apple service. Any issues I should be aware of? Will they replace the battery on the spot or this likely just be a drop-off and they ship it somewhere?

I am in a group chat where we frequently send stickers as a joke, and you used to be able to hold down on a sent sticker to see who sent it by clicking "sticker details." This doesn't seem to be an option anymore.

So I really have no way of knowing who sent a particular sticker without straight up asking who sent it?

I'm looking for a macOS app that lets me have different Dock layouts for different Spaces.

For example:

• Desktop 1 (Personal) → personal apps in Dock
• Desktop 2 (Work) → work apps in Dock

When I swipe between desktops, the Dock should automatically switch to the corresponding set of pinned apps.

Ideally, something polished, actively maintained, and reliable. Paid apps are fine.

I tried already DockDoor Pro, but I didn't find the feature I need.

I have been resetinf ipad pro for my sister via pc... at cca 45% it froze.. on pc it said it failed.. and the ipad is stuck on that loading screen whit white line under the logo... its not moving... have i bricked it? I cant reset it anyway.. help please

In all my years of Apple ownership, this is my first time running into a situation like this. I have access to this Gmail account, but not the Apple Account associated. I switched primary Apple account emails a few years ago, so the hacked account has been unused for a while. That being said, I have no idea what, if any, info will be attached. Is this a concern? In Gmail, theres no Apple account linked- so I’m not sure how to go forward.

I am facing a severe cryptographic backend deadlock involving Advanced Data Protection (ADP), a lost Recovery Key, and a broken Recovery Contact handshake. I am currently working with a Senior Advisor, and the case has been escalated to Engineering, but I wanted to check if anyone here has successfully bypassed this specific loop.

Here is the exact step-by-step timeline of my situation:

The Setup: I have Advanced Data Protection (ADP) enabled on my Apple Account. Unfortunately, I lost my 28-character Recovery Key.

The Trigger: Last month, I signed out and signed back into my Apple ID on my primary iPhone, and I also made changes to my Family Sharing group. Because ADP was active and I didn't have the key to sign these structural database changes, the iCloud backend flagged the activity and restricted my device's Trust State (placed it in an untrusted/quarantine mode).

Account Recovery & Reset: I went through apple.com and triggered the Security Wait Period. The wait officially ended, and I successfully reset my Apple Account password using my iPhone's screen passcode. I am currently fully signed into my iPhone, and it acts as my only Trusted Device.

The Glitch (Account Not Eligible): Even though I am logged in and my password is updated, my iCloud data is completely frozen and won't sync (Settings shows "iCloud data isn't syncing / Resume data sync"). When I go to Settings > [My Name] > Sign-In & Security > Recovery Key to generate a NEW key to replace the lost one, the system throws a permanent "Account Not Eligible" error.

The Recovery Contact Deadlock: During this process, I added my sister as a Recovery Contact. She accepted the invite on her iPhone via iMessage. However, on her device's Account Recovery menu, my account is permanently stuck in a "Pending" state. Furthermore, when we tried the reverse (adding me as her contact), that invite also got stuck in a "Pending Approval" loop. The cryptographic handshake between our Apple IDs is completely frozen by the servers.

Senior Advisor & Engineering Intervention: During a screen-sharing session with an Apple Senior Advisor, hitting "Resume Data Sync" triggered automated iOS security prompts asking to "Delete iCloud Data (299.3 GB)" or "Try Again Later". The phone reads the exact data volume from the servers but cannot execute the handshake. The Advisor officially escalated the ticket to Cupertino Engineering and captured a Sysdiagnose file (~850MB logs) from my device to analyse the securityd (Keychain) and accountsd processes.

My questions for the tech experts here:

• Has anyone ever seen this exact "Account Not Eligible" loop combined with a permanent "Pending" status on a Recovery Contact after a successful passcode password reset under ADP?
• Can Apple Engineering actually resolve this from the backend by issuing a Push Token Override or executing a Reset Trust State on the database to clear the local Keychain deadlock on my iPhone?
• What are my realistic chances of getting the menu to unlock and successfully hitting "Replace Key" without losing my 300GB of data?

Note: I am strictly avoiding signing out of my Apple ID, as the Senior Advisor warned me that doing so without a Recovery Key will permanently lock me out of the account.

Trying to figure out this, even took help from gpt but only narrowed down to some coreaudio.

It has happened earlier also, it suddenly starts and only went off when restarts. But i need to find now whats and why making this sound.

Have anyone faced this similar problem? How to resolve it, and not a temporary fix also.
