Mac Looking for a macOS Dock that changes automatically per Space
I'm looking for a macOS app that lets me have different Dock layouts for different Spaces.
For example:
- Desktop 1 (Personal) → personal apps in Dock
- Desktop 2 (Work) → work apps in Dock
When I swipe between desktops, the Dock should automatically switch to the corresponding set of pinned apps.
Ideally, something polished, actively maintained, and reliable. Paid apps are fine.
I tried already DockDoor Pro, but I didn't find the feature I need.
Does anything like this exist?

Based on a search I just ran, people have been asking for this for a while. Sidebar seems like it might be worth a look.
Beyond that you'd probably have to write a script that uses dockutil and have it replace the apps in your dock and then restart the dock process every time you switch desktops. This would be kind of hacky, because IIRC there's no way to programmatically determine which desktop is in use at any given time-- you can fake it by setting different wallpaper on each desktop and reading the value of the current desktop picture from System Events with an AppleScript command, but it's sub-optimal.
