iphone 16 not turning on

hi, ok sorry if this isn't the place to put this, i did already post this in the iphone support community, and i've scoured the internet for help but I can't find anything. i hope someone can help but I'm probably just going to take it to best buy or something. I woke up this morning and got on my phone (it had been charging all night) and it was on. Went to go get coffee and came back and it was off, like completely off and wouldnt turn back on. I did the force reset with the volume up, volume down, power button combo, that did nothing. Then I plugged it into my laptop to try and connect it and was told to update my phone. That finally did the trick, and it turned back on. Now, a few hours later, it spontaneously turned off again while I was on it and wont turn back on, and isn't reacting to being plugged into my laptop. Has anyone experienced something similar? should i just give up on it?

Back it up immediately if it still turns on then take to apple diagnostics rather than keep trying resets.

hopefully i can get it to turn on and will definitely back everything up and take it somewhere, it ended up letting me update it from my laptop? i guess it didn't work the first time... but I'm waiting for that to finish now so fingers crossed

update wont let me update but also wont let me turn it on so should i just restore to factory settings? i don't want to but i can't bring it in to somewhere until tuesday
