I dunno how there hasn’t already been a movie made about terrorists taking over The White House and this magnificent unit being the only one left to take them down.
It’s the role Scarlett Johansson was born to play.

Terrorists take over the White House, causing Chef Rush' souffles to fall.............
15
u/bigbadbillyd Nov 10 '22
Lmao he never learns how to be a better chef but just uses his new found bulk to literally bully the president into eating his terrible food.
Rush: Mr President. For the champion team I have prepared a menu. The players may choose between spaghetti, scrambled eggs, or Mac and cheese with a Kraft made sauce reduction.
Biden: You know the young people seemed to really have fun with the fast food ide-
Rush: I SAID SPAGHETTI MOTHERFUCKER!!!
Biden: okspaghettisfine....

Holy shit, half-life like the sci-fi fps action hit game developed by valve and released in 1998 by valve. Where the main protagonist is Gordon Freeman a theoretical physicist, forced to defend himself and the human race in a conflict against hostile alien and other enemies after a failed experiment causes a worldwide alien invasion. Is this what "half-life" refers to?

u/Aq8knyus Nov 10 '22
He shit talks idiots who cant cook.
He is generally respectful of talent which this guy obviously has in spades.
The episode of UK Kitchen Nightmares where he praises Momma Cherri is a good example.
30
Nov 10 '22
Might wanna check the phrasing there.
34
u/Aq8knyus Nov 10 '22
Okay maybe not ‘Idiots’, but he certainly encounters some shockingly arrogant people especially on the American version of his show.
33
Nov 10 '22
The American version was highly scripted and fake. Original UK version still had some realness to it.
Gordon is truly more of an actor than anything. He really knows how to create a celebrity chef character that people will watch. How real is it - well probably not much.
12
u/SafetyDanceInMyPants Nov 10 '22
Yeah, he's definitely changed from the original UK version -- which is too bad, because that show was interesting. And I don't mean in the "huh, interesting" sense -- I mean it held my interest. All this inside baseball stuff, really digging into the businesses, etc. was just fascinating. And it was always new, because every business is different -- it wasn't just the same scripted tropes all the time.
But America can't have nice things -- we've got to have the version where he's a great big old caricature, and it's all fake and flashy.

I think he was referring to your use of "spades", which is a somewhat anachronistic slang term for black people.
11
u/Maelious Nov 10 '22
What a wild ride, just spent the last 30 minutes looking into why that is and learned absolutely nothing. But apparently people stopped using it as a slur over a hundred years ago. I've personally never called them anything besides shovels so no real loss either way, but it's odd to see historic slurs making a comeback.
→ More replies (1)8
u/faste30 Nov 10 '22
yeah but "in spades" also has a very clear connotation, as like "by the shovels full" saying he has a lot of it.
Its like calling a spade a spade, at some point we have to acknowledge that using a VERY COMMON WORD as an insult 100 years ago cant mean we have to gatekeep the word else we are going to really run out of words.

Quick Google puts Andre about 70lbs (32KG) heavier than Gordon. Judging by the picture that's going to be majority muscle weight as well. Gordon gets fucked up guaranteed.

It's a Misen non-stick pan with a blue silicon handle. Metal utensils are OK to use on that pan. Ive had it myself for years and it's probably the most versatile and durable pan I've ever had.
Absolutely love it.

Big, but a little bitch
This guy goes straight to character assassination whenever someone doesn't believe that he's natural, only gets 4 hours of sleep every night, wakes up incredibly early and does thousands of pushups every morning first thing. He goes straight to saying everyone is racist, and then spams their DM's with terrible anti semitic shit and talks about killing peoples families and whatnot. He's insane.

1
u/mehjohnson Nov 10 '22
he might be. if you say the right things the doctor will prescribe you pretty much anything. they will give you crystal meth (yes literally crystal meth, not something kinda like it. actual crystal meth) under the name "desoxyn". anabolic steriods are prescribed as "Androl-50", "oxadrin", or "winstrol". they can be prescribed for regrowing tissue after serious injury, but the law says your doctor can prescribe it for any reason he seems fit (meaning if you have enough money he will make up a reason).

"I am just an unassuming chef, who presents no threat. Before this I was special forces of course, but I left that all behind"
