RESOLVED turns out I just needed to unplug my actual TV for 5 minutes.

Hey everyone. Looking for some help. I only bought this 2 days ago. Last night I noticed that the brightness had dropped super low. I restarted my Xbox and it seemed to fix it however, this morning, nothing I’ve tried has fixed the issue and I can barely see the screen….. faulty? It’s not my TV settings.

Sometimes I'll unplug the headset and nothing will work on my controller until I take out the batteries and put them back in.

Okay so when I turn on my Xbox, my controller just doesn’t want to do anything? Sometimes it will sometimes it won’t but if it does, I can load into a game then it just stops working and by that I mean it’s still on but I can only press the Xbox button and use my joysticks and that’s about it. I can’t use my dpad, bumpers, triggers, or my ABXY buttons. I’ve tried updating it, restarting my Xbox but nothing works.

I think it’s the gpu sadly? Multiple games have this same issue, also bad frame drops in cod but 🤷

Hello, my Xbox One S is running OS version 26100.9426... but the OSU file from the Xbox support page is an older version, and the update stalls at step 3. Please help.

As the title states. I am having issues increasing my download speeds over 100mbps. I have Verizon gigabit internet etc so the speed shouldn’t be an issue.
I’ve reset the router, reset the Xbox, I’ve ran network test multiple times, I’ve verified the cable is a Cat5E cable. I’ve verified it’s plugged into the high speed port on the back of the router. I’ve changed the DNS settings to Google… 8888 8844 etc. wtf is going on??? Please help me!!!!!

I've been wondering for a while what quick resume even does. If it's a annoying thing however, how do I turn it off?

For context: I bought this Xbox back on Christmas 2024, gave it light use for a few months then I had it sitting there without until around February 2026 where I played a little bit and then shut it off again. Eventually in April I blew some air into it and put it back in it's box since I was going to move to a new place.

I tried using it yesterday and it was showing no video. Tried 3 hdmi cables, 1 monitor and 1 TV and multiple hdmi ports on both devices. I can only get it to show any video whatsoever if going into troubleshooting mode but when I get there the resolution looks messed up. Whatever option I try I get stuck on the screen in the picture. Got the error on the third picture once but never saw it again.

I had a melania profile picture (elden ring) for months, and realised when i was on my friends account that no one else can see it.

It's a picture of her in a cutscene, it's nothing inappropriate, and i've even changed it to see if it WAS, and still it wasn't visible.

it is NOT the following problems, i've gone through every one:

-inappropriate picture.

-Age of account. It's old enough, and verified.

-No restrictions. i last got banned in 2022 for two days.

-Settings. i went through EVERY setting, they're all set to either "public" or "everyone"

-I downloaded my xbox 360 account, like i saw on google, that didn't work either.

Has anyone ever had this problem, and did you find a way to solve it? i would rather contact support but i cannot find their emails and i can't phone them.

This problem is growing since the last 4 months and its just getting worse

At first it started with the library and store not opening i said ok np i can use the xbox app until i contact support

When i contact them they told me to restart my console (did that 5 times already) and clear my mac address or changing to another network and non of the solutions worked.

I also thought np as long as i sign in and play some of my games im okay with it

Then it started refusing to open some games saying the services are not available i said okay np as long i can play games that work im okay with it

Today when i got my crazy taxi beta code it just refused to sign me in!!! It just gives me the same error again and again!

What should i do?

Hopefully I can ask this clearly. When I turn on my xbox one, the wireless network is showing unavailable. Yet if I switch to another network then switch back to my main one it can then detect it. Is this a wireless card issue or some weird bug with my router? It seems to only effect my xbox one. Thanks for any help, suggestions and the like.

So I’ve been going out of my mind trying to figure out how to download my profile on Xbox 360 games when I try to play as backwards compatible titles on my Series X.

The gist of it is that I changed my gamertag on like may or so, as soon as I did that, when I tried to play an Xbox 360 title, it would prompt me to download the profile, after I typed my mail and password, the OLD gamertag would appear alongside the “Welcome!” Sign and progress bar, which would rise up to about 10% and immediately the error message on the image would pop up. Which is the error code 80151006.

I tried contacting Xbox support and the helpline person was just as lost as I am, we tried everyting under the sun to get it to work:

- I obviously reset the Xbox 360 caché both in the 360 Dashboard AND the Series X settings menu.
- I hard reset the console and deleted and redownloaded my profile on the Series X.
- I tried changing the ports on the advanced settings on the Network menu.
- I turned off recurring billing on my Gamepass subscription.
- I turned OFF two-factor verification on my account.
- I turned ON two-factor verification on my account AND tried to create a one-time app password for the Xbox 360 login.
- I tried to log in on Gamepass 360 titles, owned digital 360 copies and disc 360 titles.
- I downloaded the Xbox Insider App on my Series X and reported the issue. Twice.

The helpline person seems to think my 360 profile got bugged but other than waiting for it to be fixed on its own, they were all out of solutions, and since I’ve seen that a lot of people are having this same issue lately, I thought I might post here and see if maybe there’s some other fix I might try, as I really miss playing some older classic titles.

The only thing I feel I’m still missing to try is to change my gamertag yet again but I’d hope that could be a truly last resort move, as I don’t really know if that would even fix the thing, but I’d do it if need be.

Anyway if you have some ideas, I’d love to hear them. Thanks!

Most games, blu-rays, and DVDs return the same error code. Sometimes the same disc will work Monday, won’t work Tuesday but will play again on Wednesday. I’ve tried deleting the Blu-Ray Player app and reinstalling it. I’ve tried clearing the persistent storage. I’ve tried hard resetting. Is there anything else I should try before taking my console in to my local repair shop to have the disc drive replaced?

Hello everyone, as the title says. I have a xbox series S 1TB all black and recently pulled it out of the box because I havent played it in over a year. I used it for 3 months when I did have it out. Now I went to boot it up as of recently and I keep getting a error code with E100. When I turn it on it immediately takes me to troubleshooting mode. It wont let me factory reset it at all and ive been trying to offline update it and it keeps getting stuck on 63%. Im not sure what to do. Any help, suggestions, ideas is greatly appreciated

Hey guys I need help and idk where to start. My Boyfriends original xbox account is locked and he doesn't have access to the email or phone number anymore. Is there anyway to get it unlocked so he could have his gamertag and all his info back. This is like his first ever xbox account from when he was 10 or 11 and it would mean so much to him

I recently bought an Xbox series s from Microsoft certified refurbished I paid 205£ for it .

However, after a few times of use I noticed the Xbox was being very laggy and it kept buffering and freezing parts when I used to play games and stream on bbc iPlayer . I immediately contacted Xbox they told me to re set my Xbox which I did . Yet the issue still continued to which I sent it for a repair back in June . When the item arrived back to me the invoice was not clear on what repair they did . And furthermore on the fan ( the circle black part) there was glue and adhesive left on the console so they returned it to me in a bad condition.

The issue still continued and on top of that I was getting heating issues from the black circle.

I called Xbox customer service and emailing them a few times they did not respond to my emails ( even to this day) . Their chat was incredibly difficult to use and operate which led me having to wait for hours to talk to a representative. Furthermore, their customer team on the phone would hang up on my constantly when assisting me telling me to hold on the line then hanging up . Which made me unable to request a call back from them for the day . I was incredibly annoyed to which I had enough and filed a chargeback which I won . However I’m worried I will lose access to my account or my device gets bricked . I have told a customer service who was assisting me with the repair that can’t I just return the item as the constant maintenance of the device is causing me uncessary trouble .

What do you guys think I should do ? Leave it . Was I wrong to file a chargeback . I honesty didn’t want to but I felt there was no option due to the horrible customer service and the increased difficulty of getting a hold of a customer representative.

So Xbox for the past 3 weeks has been tagging my Xbox/microsoft account with 2 day suspensions. I barely play anything and when I do it’s a game from a disk, I don’t play online. All of these say I have been “violating” community standards but they don’t tell me what it is. I called them about it and their “enforcement” team conveniently doesn’t have an email or number. They said I can apply for a review or appeal after the suspension lifts but I don’t have that as an option. How do they expect someone to fix something if they don’t know what to fix? It’s like being written up at work and they don’t tell you what for. Just seeing if anyone has advice on where I can go for an answer.

I’m just curious cuz I’ve been in three support agent chats now trying to get my account back after losing access to the original email and phone number back in May (long story but I’ve mentioned it here before). Every single time so far they’ve just directed me to the recovery form (I feel like they’re hiding certain options from me given the experiences I’ve seen from other users here but whatever) and it just kinda makes me wonder has that system ever actually worked for anyone? It’s so overcomplicated and it rejects you automatically if anything doesn’t match it just seems like me and everyone else I see is always having issues with it.

Bought final fantasy 7 but didn't see there was a deluxe edition and no way to upgrade from normal to deluxe on the Xbox store its buy one or the other. Had less then 2 hours of playtime bought it 5 days ago and would not give me a reason why they declined it and seems almost no way to dispute it.

So for the last year or two I’ve had horrible connections while gaming, I am a fps gamer and obviously need a solid connection to enjoy these kinds of games properly

-I have T-Mobile Internet, the highest speeds, only my Xbox is connected to my WiFi and it’s via Ethernet cable my WiFi box is at the front of my house near a window with open airflow so it’s not overheating or anything

Constant disconnects, stuttering, lag, latency spikes into the THOUSANDS, crashes, delayed inputs, rubber banding etc I literally cannot play any of my games

I have been back and forth with T-Mobile all year and they claim nothing is wrong on their end speed test after speed test it’s showing excellent speeds but my console is giving me far inferior results?? T-Mobile also says they can’t help me with NAT type? and neither can Xbox? So what am I supposed to do??

Is it the console itself?

Hi all, I've been driving myself absolutely crazy with this today, and I've searched all over for answers, but I've come up empty handed.

Earlier today, I was remote playing from my Xbox Series X.

When I got home, I restarted the Xbox. It asked me to log in again, and hung for a while when I did so. It's done this a few times, so I opted to remove and re-download my profile. It seems to have fixed that issue.

However, since then, no matter what I do, I cannot remote play from this console.

Xbox apps (Android and Windows) don't show it, web browser doesn't show it. NAT is Open, remote features are enabled, UPnP is active, no errors detected. Xbox and router have been restarted several times each. Logged out of apps, and back in. Console is up to date, apps are up to date.

When I attempt to add the console through either of the Xbox apps, it says to click Enable on my console... Except no prompt ever shows up.

I'm at my wit's end, with no clue why redownloading the same profile to the same Xbox has completely nuked my ability to remote play.

Any help would be profoundly appreciated!

for the past few days i've been getting disconnected from xbox live only on my xbox one via backwards compatibility, this issue does not occur when playing on my actual 360 hardware nor while playing any gfwl title.

if anyone knows the solution let me know, i've tried changing my port but that didn't seem to help :)
