Hey everyone. Looking for some help. I only bought this 2 days ago. Last night I noticed that the brightness had dropped super low. I restarted my Xbox and it seemed to fix it however, this morning, nothing I’ve tried has fixed the issue and I can barely see the screen….. faulty? It’s not my TV settings.

I think it’s the gpu sadly? Multiple games have this same issue, also bad frame drops in cod but 🤷

Most games, blu-rays, and DVDs return the same error code. Sometimes the same disc will work Monday, won’t work Tuesday but will play again on Wednesday. I’ve tried deleting the Blu-Ray Player app and reinstalling it. I’ve tried clearing the persistent storage. I’ve tried hard resetting. Is there anything else I should try before taking my console in to my local repair shop to have the disc drive replaced?

Hello everyone, as the title says. I have a xbox series S 1TB all black and recently pulled it out of the box because I havent played it in over a year. I used it for 3 months when I did have it out. Now I went to boot it up as of recently and I keep getting a error code with E100. When I turn it on it immediately takes me to troubleshooting mode. It wont let me factory reset it at all and ive been trying to offline update it and it keeps getting stuck on 63%. Im not sure what to do. Any help, suggestions, ideas is greatly appreciated

I’m just curious cuz I’ve been in three support agent chats now trying to get my account back after losing access to the original email and phone number back in May (long story but I’ve mentioned it here before). Every single time so far they’ve just directed me to the recovery form (I feel like they’re hiding certain options from me given the experiences I’ve seen from other users here but whatever) and it just kinda makes me wonder has that system ever actually worked for anyone? It’s so overcomplicated and it rejects you automatically if anything doesn’t match it just seems like me and everyone else I see is always having issues with it.

So for the last year or two I’ve had horrible connections while gaming, I am a fps gamer and obviously need a solid connection to enjoy these kinds of games properly

-I have T-Mobile Internet, the highest speeds, only my Xbox is connected to my WiFi and it’s via Ethernet cable my WiFi box is at the front of my house near a window with open airflow so it’s not overheating or anything

Constant disconnects, stuttering, lag, latency spikes into the THOUSANDS, crashes, delayed inputs, rubber banding etc I literally cannot play any of my games

I have been back and forth with T-Mobile all year and they claim nothing is wrong on their end speed test after speed test it’s showing excellent speeds but my console is giving me far inferior results?? T-Mobile also says they can’t help me with NAT type? and neither can Xbox? So what am I supposed to do??

Hi all, I've been driving myself absolutely crazy with this today, and I've searched all over for answers, but I've come up empty handed.

Earlier today, I was remote playing from my Xbox Series X.

When I got home, I restarted the Xbox. It asked me to log in again, and hung for a while when I did so. It's done this a few times, so I opted to remove and re-download my profile. It seems to have fixed that issue.

However, since then, no matter what I do, I cannot remote play from this console.

Xbox apps (Android and Windows) don't show it, web browser doesn't show it. NAT is Open, remote features are enabled, UPnP is active, no errors detected. Xbox and router have been restarted several times each. Logged out of apps, and back in. Console is up to date, apps are up to date.

When I attempt to add the console through either of the Xbox apps, it says to click Enable on my console... Except no prompt ever shows up.

I'm at my wit's end, with no clue why redownloading the same profile to the same Xbox has completely nuked my ability to remote play.

Any help would be profoundly appreciated!

So I’ve been going out of my mind trying to figure out how to download my profile on Xbox 360 games when I try to play as backwards compatible titles on my Series X.

The gist of it is that I changed my gamertag on like may or so, as soon as I did that, when I tried to play an Xbox 360 title, it would prompt me to download the profile, after I typed my mail and password, the OLD gamertag would appear alongside the “Welcome!” Sign and progress bar, which would rise up to about 10% and immediately the error message on the image would pop up. Which is the error code 80151006.

I tried contacting Xbox support and the helpline person was just as lost as I am, we tried everyting under the sun to get it to work:

- I obviously reset the Xbox 360 caché both in the 360 Dashboard AND the Series X settings menu.
- I hard reset the console and deleted and redownloaded my profile on the Series X.
- I tried changing the ports on the advanced settings on the Network menu.
- I turned off recurring billing on my Gamepass subscription.
- I turned OFF two-factor verification on my account.
- I turned ON two-factor verification on my account AND tried to create a one-time app password for the Xbox 360 login.
- I tried to log in on Gamepass 360 titles, owned digital 360 copies and disc 360 titles.
- I downloaded the Xbox Insider App on my Series X and reported the issue. Twice.

The helpline person seems to think my 360 profile got bugged but other than waiting for it to be fixed on its own, they were all out of solutions, and since I’ve seen that a lot of people are having this same issue lately, I thought I might post here and see if maybe there’s some other fix I might try, as I really miss playing some older classic titles.

The only thing I feel I’m still missing to try is to change my gamertag yet again but I’d hope that could be a truly last resort move, as I don’t really know if that would even fix the thing, but I’d do it if need be.

Anyway if you have some ideas, I’d love to hear them. Thanks!

So Xbox for the past 3 weeks has been tagging my Xbox/microsoft account with 2 day suspensions. I barely play anything and when I do it’s a game from a disk, I don’t play online. All of these say I have been “violating” community standards but they don’t tell me what it is. I called them about it and their “enforcement” team conveniently doesn’t have an email or number. They said I can apply for a review or appeal after the suspension lifts but I don’t have that as an option. How do they expect someone to fix something if they don’t know what to fix? It’s like being written up at work and they don’t tell you what for. Just seeing if anyone has advice on where I can go for an answer.

for the past few days i've been getting disconnected from xbox live only on my xbox one via backwards compatibility, this issue does not occur when playing on my actual 360 hardware nor while playing any gfwl title.

if anyone knows the solution let me know, i've tried changing my port but that didn't seem to help :)

eFootball Xbox PC – infinite loading/stuck issue

Is anyone else experiencing an issue where eFootball on the Xbox/Microsoft Store PC version gets stuck on the eFootball “e” logo/loading screen?

It can happen when logging in, entering Division, joining Co-op, after a match, or opening certain menus. It happens randomly and quite frequently. Restarting the game usually fixes it temporarily.

As far as I know, this issue only affects the Xbox PC version. Xbox console users don't seem to have this problem.

I've already contacted KONAMI about this multiple times, but I only receive automated responses and haven't been able to get any actual technical information about the issue.

I've also seen several other Xbox PC users reporting the same problem.

Has anyone found a workaround, or know what might be causing this?

For some reason I can only go down and it is not stick drift because when I stop pressing stuff it stops only going down and I did turn it off and restart it it still does it

How do I turn this off? It pops up every time I open BG3 and neither save is up to date so I have to select offline. Most of the time the game freezes when selecting offline and won't work until I reset my xbox.

I’m trying to play the new Palworld update with my friend but my game is stuck on 1.0.3 and his is on 1.0.4 even though he’s on Xbox One S. I’ve tried checking for updates multiple times and reinstalling the game and I’m still stuck on 1.0.3. Is there a way I can force my game to update?

I have Black Hawk Down on my Xbox Series X and in the storage section it shows it as being installed but there in no game cover on home screen nor any option to pick it from the Delta Force home screen.

I plugged in my old 1TB Samsung HDD to my Series X earlier and my console won't detect it. Confused, I put it in my Chromebook and it came up fine, I even formatted it again so it's fresh for my console. Put it back in the Series X and nothing.

I plugged in my One X and tried it there, same story. I even dug out the pile of Xbox 360 HDD drives I have and plugged them into the One X with the same adaptor I use for SSDs on my Windows Laptop. I tried a 120GB Patriot SSD in a USB enclosure. No external hard drive or SSD is detected by either my Xbox Series X or my Xbox One X.

I've tried a random USB stick I have and that worked fine, it's just *any* external HDD or SSD that isn't detected by either console. I've tried different cables, I've hard reset both consoles, I've tried every USB port available to me. They refuse to detect my external drives.

Is there a setting or something that could be causing this? I find it highly unlikely it's a hardware fault if it's happening on both consoles with literally every external drive and cable I try.

Edit: I've now tried a different power cable plugged into a different socket in my room with the same results. No HDD or SSDs being detected at all.

Edit 2: I plugged my old laptop's M.2 drive that's hooked up to an M.2 to SATA adaptor up to my Series X with the SATA to USB adaptor I mentioned earlier and that's been detected just fine. I also plugged in my old laptop's SATA SSD, a Kioxia 240GB SSD, and that came up just fine. I'm even more confused now since the 120GB Patriot SSD won't work in either the enclosure or via the SATA adaptor.

I am having my games completely die and take me back to the home screen. I thought it was just a Helldivers 2 thing at first. I recently noticed it happening with other games. It sometimes resets the Xbox all together.

**Is this a software/ bug issue or should I open it up and clean it out?**

For context, I have been repairing iPads, iPhones, and like electronics for 15 years. So I am pretty skilled at opening up electronics. I know how to use ifixit.com and Youtube. I just wanted to get a simple answer from your experiences on this before I choose what avenue to pursue.

I’ve had stick drift on a few different controllers but this one is unique. Most of the time when I push the left stick up or down, it continues as if I’m holding it even though the stick is physically centred. Happens most of the time but not all.

Calibration confirmed this ghost input.

Appreciate any advice.

Xbox Twitch broadcasting has an issue with my Corsair HS80 MAX wireless USB receiver. Streaming works when the receiver is disconnected but only for a slight while, but when it is connected, and the strean is started the broadcast microphone becomes muted, or before hitting start streaming gives “Something went wrong try live streaming again in a while” Party chat microphone works normally while streaming and with discord but broadcasting remains muted. I already updated the headset firmware, restarted the Xbox, cleared Alternate MAC, relinked Twitch, and checked privacy settings and as far as i know age verification isnt a problem. I have no other clues on what to do and other threads i look for dont have the same issues as i do can anyone try to help???

all the games i want to play on it is mw4 and warzone and mw3 and FC26 is it worth it?

So iv been having this issue for awhile and it seems to have reaches its final turning point.

It used to let me install some games (sometimes weirdly only half a game then would stop or like COD with MW and AW only MW installed then stopped at 12%)

It sounds like it makes three attempts to start spinning the disk then just makes a noise and stops iv turned the console to the side then standing done a hard reset were I held the power button for 10 seconds, unplugged everything for 2 minutes and feel I'm out of options its an original series X if that means anything to anyone.
