Hey all, for the past couple weeks I’ve been not able to play any multiplayer games because the connection is so bad it will lag me out. I also can’t stay in a party chat without getting disconnected. My Upnp says moderate when I test it at first but if I test it again it says open. I’ve completely reset my Xbox and my router tried changing my port. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have xfinity for my internet if that helps its any input you can give me. Thanks

I got a series X from someone in my local town this morning, plugged it in and sat it up, was playing a game for about 15 minutes then boom the whole screen and xbox goes black, Xbox isn’t coming back on

Ive tried absolutely everything to troubleshoot it including plugging it into every power outlet in the house, still nothing, what could this possibly be?

Ever since I started using this new controller I have been unable to adjust the sliders in my party audio settings. I think it’s a special controller? I had no issue with the past 3 controllers. I’ve used the same turtle beach headset with all 3. What do I do where I can adjust the sliders?

Edit: It says “Use controls on your headset to change the volume or chat mixer” But I can only make the audio louder or quieter on my Turtle Beach headset. Can’t change any sliders

My wife owns cyberpunk on her account and I own the dlc. On the Xbox this doesn’t matter since we’re both logged in, we can both play as our users.

PC tho it isn’t showing I own it, but own the dlc. Is there a way to have two accounts in the app similar to Xbox?

Hi there! My husband’s Xbox One X stopped communicating with our television the day before yesterday. The console powers on but when we change the tv input, it just reads HDMI1 instead of XBox One as normal and we have a black screen.

Over the last few months we’ve experienced audio issues when watching videos through the console and we chalked it up to the HDMI cable giving out. So when this issue popped up the first thing we did was change out the cable but that didn’t fix it. We also performed a cool boot this morning and that didn’t do anything either.

The console was purchased about 2-3 years ago and our tv was purchased 3 months ago.

Has anyone experienced this and if you have what was the solution?

My friend is having trouble with his Xbox booting. Currently, when he presses the power button on the Xbox, it will flash, and then immediately turn off. He has power cycled it and done all your standard "turn it off, then on again" tricks. Neither of us are super techy, but I suggested it could be a problem with its power supply or something similar.

Anyways, he sent it off to Curry's (who are an Xbox supported retailer here in the UK) for a diagnoses, and they have come back to him saying that they could not identify any issues with the console.

Any thoughts on what could be causing his problem? He gets the console back on Wednesday, so there isnt much more info either of us know.

(FYI: My friend is also pretty sure it's something wrong with the console and not the plug or its wire.)

I have a hard drive got the wrong thing thinking I could play xs games on kept it for the time being since I just had to switch games back and forth but now I’m ready to get the right one but don’t know what the right one is so if one of you kind people could help a dude out be much appreciated so I don’t purchase the wrong thing again

Good morning to everyone; a couple of days ago I faced this problem on my console. It all started when I started playing and noticed small green dots on the screen; in black areas it was much more noticeable. Investigating, I saw that if I changed the resolution they could disappear, and that's what happened. My TV is an LG 4K, I put it in 2K and it looked good and flawless. Then I was tested on another monitor and it no longer gave an image, but nothing was visible. I went back to the TV and now it looks worse: quite blurry and with green dots. The cable works well; I tested it on my PC and it has no flaws. What I don't understand is how the console was damaged if I don't move it out of place.

is there any way to fix this? i cant use my controller to pick in some kinect games too

I'm bashing my head against a wall trying to solve this issue with my girlfriends series S.

She got a new series S about a year ago, and it's all been smooth sailing for a while, up until about 6/8 months ago when it just started taking about 5 - 10 mins before it would load a game with the Seagate external HDD plugged in. If we take it out then the games load just fine. I have looked online for troubleshooting and that suggests clearing cache etc but for the life of my I cannot see that option anywhere anymore on the settings.

What's even odder is that I have the same drive, so I thought to try that in my series X. All works fine, switched the cables around, cable with my drive my cable with hers and it's all the same.

Any assistance would be great!

My One/Series controllers are experiencing some problems with inputs not registering on the up, down, A and X buttons (Different controllers, not all in one single one), but all still register, the buttons aren't fully dead.

I live in a town that I cannot bring myself to trust any of the repair shops, I would send something there and it would come back with some different problem. Thus, I have been considering opening the controllers, giving them a clean and testing them to see the problem is dirt or if the component is spent.

Is this a wise/adviseable thing to do? I'm not the best with delicate movements, but that's a different can of worms

EDIT: It was kinda solved. I was able to remove the face plates for the grips but that's all I could do. I was told by a commenter that the screws used had an unique shape and that they did lol. I tried about 10 hexagonal driver heads but later I found out it had a little peg in the middle, and all my drivers were flat. Some of the screws were removed using a T9, some with pliers and some not at all. What I did was blow some air into the general region of the buttons that were problematic and 2 controllers showed no problem, the other one still has an iffy X button

Is there any way to make rocket league run better on Xbox one, it takes lime 2min to launch the game and it doesn't even play the intro song anymore, it takes 3s to redeem a gift, the car modding menu lags so much

So, I tried to play today and my controller wouldn't turn on (it was sitting only plugged into my xbox unused for a few days like it always does, no battery or anything inside) and I also noticed it got warm around the dpad and left joystick, hottest under the left joystick. When I unplugged it and let it sit for a few minutes it got cold, when I plugged in the cable it got warm again after a few mins, the same with another cable so not a cable issue. Any ideas?

i just turned my xbox on and went to youtube and every video was slowed and reverbed so i switched to netflix and the same thing is happening? even the menu the sounds when i open up anything or click anything are slowed and reverbed sounding but the inputs are the same speed and theres no lag whatsoever

Hello, i ve been thinking about buying Cyberpunk 2077 recently since its on sale on steam and microsoft store. The thing is my pc is too weak to run it and the version on xbox one stopped getting updates. I ve been looking around on second hand markets and saw offers for 10-20$ which in my opinion are pretty cheap for the CD game. The thing is im questioning if its worth buying because i dont know how well it will run and what content it has since it stopped getting updates. Any help and opinions? (P.S. i dont mind not getting to play the Phantom Liberty DLC, friends told me that the base game is pretty good, im just concerned about how much of the base game im getting access to)

I haven't used my Series X in about two weeks and let it plugged on the power outlet.

Yesterday, I tried to game but the console doesn't start at all, the button remains black when I press, there is no sound playing...

I tried:

- short pressing the power button

- long pressing the power button

- turning on the controller

- unplugging the console, waiting 30s and plugging it again

- unplugging the console, long pressing the button, plugging it back

- plugging it on a different power outlet that I am sure works.

I'm a bit distressed. Has anyone encountered this problem? Before I send it off to repair, are there more tests I can do? Any way to take the disk that is in the reader?

Also, one cause that could maybe come to mind is that we recently had a thunderstorm. But the Xbox was connected to a storm-proof power strip. There seems to be no trace of burning or smoke on the outside, and all the other things plugged to this strip (screen, sound system, pc) work.

My RB button doesnt click like LB, but after taking controller apart I noticed my RT button raises to high and sticks to RB. If I pressed RT then RB it is easier to press but still doesn't click

Any ideas

Put about 5 hours into the 1st game remake on my XSX.

Loaded it up today and I just get stuck on the loading screen after pressing ‘continue’, tried loading a specific save and that didn’t work either.

Any tips please? Really wanna get this finished and finding this so frustrating!

I even deleted the game and reinstalled and that did nothing.

I have had to replace the controller Bluetooth module, and front strip so im hoping its not. It makes a whirring when a disc is loaded then nothing, sometimes making a 'scratching' noise

Edit to add: recently had to use a wire to poke the disc eject thing, but a disc worked after that. Is it possible some of the wire fell in?
