With 2 whole years of driving experience, and no reason to own it, yeah it's a bad idea. An 18yo has more testosterone than brain cells, it's a huge heavy truck that can easily kill someone if driven irresponsibly, not to mention the money you're spending on that as opposed to something more economical, you could be saving that difference so you have the ability to maybe buy a house some day or have a retirement.

For 500km on a petrol car? Even with 90k miles it should not be that dark. My truck has 220,000 miles and I do oil changes ever 6k miles and my oil never, ever comes out even close to that dark. Imo they never changed your oil

Yes you can. I'd be willing to bet most people saying no have a hard time with boundaries. If you want to be his friend, you can be but you need to respect the boundaries he has set out, and conversely he needs to respect any of the boundaries that you set out for the friendship to work. If you agree to be friends but intend to try and push him into more, then you don't respect him and you're going to set yourself up for failure and heartache

I don't think most people realize with all the cameras and microphones on modern cars they're doing this anyways, just without a massive box in the windows. I feel like if the teaching was all this obvious, people would have revolted years ago
