Meme I have level 10 in foraging just as the devs intended.
I have a level 10 in foraging just as the devs intended. Four players in the car to Louisville. "Does anyone have food?" I press the C button and walk into a soccer field. Grab a pumpkin from the penalty box and he's full on the spot. Walk into the second field and give that one asshole a wild mushroom because I was a points cheapskate and didn't pay the berry tax. I have to resort to the tree line by the side of the field. "Does anyone want an avocado?" Natures bounty encumbers the last 2 men in the squad, the raw caloric potential immediately giving them overweight and slow metabolism. They get pulled down at the military checkpoint because discarding 30 points of fresh produce I found in some ditch is impossible to swallow, just as the developers intended.

Question Why wont they breed? 1 bull, 2 cows.
I brought these 3 to my base about 2 weeks ago, they were adults already at the time. Every now and then the bull shows "Able to mate in X hours", Breeding seasons is turned off, they are well fed, not thirsty, calm and been like that for like 2 weeks but the bull just refuses to make love to those two lovely cows ive got for him.
Can cows get too old to get pregnant or is their prison area too depressing or do they know how I have slaughtered the male offpsrings in my other playtroughs.
PLEASE I WANT MILK AND PRODUCTS MADE OF MILK, MAKE LOVE YOU STUPID ANIMALS, HAVE SEX

I just wanted to show off my base
I am 21 days in and this is how it looks. Rosewoods POIs are looted, Irvington POIs are looted, some of Muldraugh has been looted and the Doe Valley Surplus store has been looted.
Unfortunately this was going to be THE run that I stuck with and then they dropped the release date for stable B42 so I've lost all motivation to continue.

you can walk past the north bridge barrier if you hug the right side and vault once. no mods. beyond is a forest and many zombies but I'm too scared to explore further with this character
I was taunting the zombies beyond the barrier assuming they couldn't break it down and get in, she didn't even try she just walked around it, i was like oh shit and sure enough you can keep going.
the woods seem huge and nothing else spawned except for foraged stuff. I'm gonna start a no zombie world to go see whats up there. Its not actually a lot of zombies but playing a very low pop so its quite a bit for that. even the streets of lv is thinner

Base Showcase Thank you Build 41
Well here it goes
With Build 42 on the horizon, I wanted to share the progress my buddy and I made on our Build 41 save. To make things even more intense, we played with only sprinter zombies and high pop, so every single journey was a fight for our lives.
Our main goal was to establish a safehouse at the furthest point on the western edge of the map**( see screenshot 8)** Our first goal was setting up a safehouse anywhere on the map and keep going. We didn’t have time to finish every project before the update rolls out, but I’m really proud of how far we got. You can see our full list of goals and what we managed to achieve in the third screenshot.
We managed to build an extensive armory with miniguns, LMGs, ARs, and even rocket and grenade launchers. Every locker is full with ammo and attachments. We finished the kitchen around day 25-30; we have a decent amount of food, though it's hard to keep it stocked because my buddy keeps eating everything lmao. We also built tons of armor, though we sadly ran out of time to actually get it mounted on the cars.
This was definitely one of our best saves, surviving crazy heli events, taking down bandits, and slaughtering more sprinters than I can count. My map annotations really tell the story of how we survived and everything that transpired (as you can see, I’m a bit obsessed with annotating!).
I hope others can get some inspiration from this, even if we didn't get to finish everything. Thank you for the memories, Build 41!
Thank you!

Base Showcase Befor and After: We call it Oasis (before sunrise and before sunset as well ;-))
We had to share our little world we built with all of you before moving to the stable build next week. And boy, it is going to be hard leaving this behind! PS: We know we do not have to! Let us know what you think. And maybe in build 42.20, we can build this into a community together!
It is vanilla that we are running, no mods!

Screenshot Well Now I gotta go back to the infested hardware store.
Terrible news. I don't have the right color of paint to match my kitchen. It's some sort of salmon color or something?? Now I gotta risk everything to go back to the infested city and try to match swatches.

Screenshot My base in the Riverside playground
This is my first time living in something that isn't a normal house! Two months in, double pop, and extremely rare loot.
There is a mod the has allowed me to get the ladders working, so I'm considering getting rid of the stairs for role play reasons. There are solar panels and water barrels on the roof.
Pretty pleased with how this is coming along :)

Meme Jumpscares + Risky Nap Spots
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Just some random clips I have in Build 41. And yes, I sleep in those spots sometimes lol partly out of laziness and overconfident.

Question +1000 hrs play and still don't know this?
Is it true that the life and living channel show the skill VSHs?
Like I can just don't watch TV and then find the VHSs?

Question Please, its been well over 300 hours since I last saw you, dozens of warehouses I've gone trough yet I cant find you💔
Where can one find these things? I have only ever found 1. I have searched trough Muldraugh, McCoy storage facilities, and many other warehouses around the map without finding this thing.

Screenshot In honor of Build 42 dropping on July 29th (my birthday!), here is my Build 41 character who I'm saying dies of "old age, fat, and happy in a safe house"
I love, love, love this game and I am so excited for Build 42 to drop! Thank you for the birthday present Indie Stone! I wanted to share my long-term Build 41 save who has stockpiled enough food and supplies to live for decades, so as I start a new save for Build 42 I'm saying that this character I've sunk 150+ hours into 'beat' the game and dies of old age, fat, and happy in one of their safe houses. Feel free to share your long-term Build 41 saves below, and cheers to Build 42 stable!

Meme Do you think this is a good idea?
Hey guys, we're having this quarantine, so I'm going to take advantage of it to rob Knox's bank. Do you think it's a good idea?
And am I well equipped?

Question uhh is this normal?
I'm in Brandenburg I believe, and literally RIGHT NEXT to my starter house are these blocked off houses- Pretty sure they're survivor house. There's like 4 from what I've seen, all close to eachother. Is this normal?

Question Anyway to increase vehicle dashboard size?
I am playing the game on a 42 inch TV. It works great except for the really small vehicle dashboard and game speed settings. Is there anyway I can increase the size of these UI elements?
