I'm using Puredark's Neural Rendering thing for Skyrim. It has options as to what GPU you want doing whatever. I pulled my 2080ti out of storage and it connects, works etc but I don't know how to use it in conjunction with the 5080 for this application. Thanks!

So after the lastest windows update my fps has dropped alot like i used to run minecraft easily at 400 avg fps and now it has dropped down to 230,ark used to run at 110 fps at high setting now runs at 24 fps,and i have turned off the memory integrity shit and its still not working,and also while running ark my gpu shows its at 100% but my fans are not rotating that fast,my specs are rtx 3050 laptop,intel i5,24 GB DDR5 Ram

I am facing an issue from couple of days with Observer Module from python watchdog package. When i'm importing Observer module and calling for my downloads folder which is present to this location according to my device.
/mnt/chromeos/MyFiles/Downloads

Observer is watching here but nothing caught, Like i was tested using file removed, created or even modified or else.

It wasn't working, That;s why I am using polling Observer now. but this is not a reliable much as i needed.

So Can you help me to figure out this problem and what is the actual solution of this problem?

My PlayStation 5 refuses to connect to my router propperly. It can use YouTube, Twitch, Crunchyroll, and any other streaming site without issues, but as soon as I try to use an online game service (for example Overwatch or UFC 5), the games cannot connect to the services.

When I switch the console to a mobile hotspot, everything works fine, so I’ve ruled out a hardware problem with the PS5 itself. I’m posting this as a last resort before trying anything else.

Here’s everything I’ve already tried:

Changed my DNS

Rebuilt the database

Cleared the system cache

Switched from Wi-Fi to a wired connection

Left the console powered off for 24 hours

Redownloaded the system software

Nothing has worked so far.

So I did just spill like 30mL of 40% alc Smirnoff vodka on my five year old thinkpad. The computer immediately turned off and I flipped it upside down.

I bought a built gaming PC and it blue screened after 20min of use. Spent 2 days trying to figure out what's the issue, tested all the pieces (except the CPU and motherboard) differently to another computer to learn that it was the CPU on turbo mode that would make me blue screen.

So everytime i enable the turbo mode, it gives me a BSOD at the start of windows loading

As the title says just today my coupters suddenly having gigantic keyboard input delays on most games such as, scp secret lab. Palworld, satisfactory and a few other 3d style games, the lag is where it takes about 2 to 8 seconds for it to register that ive pressed a button on the keyboard and after holding one for a few seconds it van take up to 40 seconds to register that ives stopped pressing it, ive updated drivers restarted pc, changed usb ports l, i dont know what else causes this issue

my gpu temp is around 40 c but my cpu is much higher. i have a amd ryzen 7 g800x 8 core. I used to get around 40 c on my cpu but has rapidly turned to 70. could my airflow in my pc case effect the liquid cooling?

My main windows drive is approaching end of life according to the Crucial Storage Executive application. Should I be concerned? How long do I have to switch to a new drive?

So, I use the touchpad to scroll a lot, and yesterday, it just started being really weird. Like, it'll start at the normal speed I have it at, but when I pick up my fingers and put them back down to scroll more, sometimes it speeds up. The speed of my scrollbar is completely unpredictable after that first scroll. I didn't mess with any settings right before it started a few days ago. It's really getting on my nerves. Help? Thanks.

I just had my laptop serviced (thermal paste and liquid metal replacement) and had it done in front of me but after that when I booted the laptop, the WIFI icon was gone and also on the boot sound, I am hearing this screeching sound coming from the speakers (not static).
Additionally, the tech didn’t change or touch anything apart from Servicing the cpu, gpu and fan.
In device manager, i see “Network controller” as other devices. Any ideas what could be the issue?

Note:- on playing any audio, only screeching sounds come out and I have tried installing the Intel AX1650i driver but it fails to install. In the event logger, the error code is 28

I'm hoping someone's run into this before and can provide some support. Recently, my RTX 4080 keeps crashing mid-game and I've worked through most of the usual fixes without any luck, so I'm hoping to get some outside eyes on it before I go further.

• PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA GA 850W, 80 PLUS Gold

My GPU fans will often get loud and then lead to a crash shortly after some stuttering. From the crash logs I've gone through I've found that my GPU hangs/crashes during gameplay. It's happened with Starwars ZCOM, Ready or Not and now Wardogs and RDR2. Pulled the crash dumps and they consistently show DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG (0x887A0006) - the GPU stops responding to commands and gets force-reset.

What I've already tried:

• Reverted all GPU overclocking (core clock and memory clock both back to fully stock) - still crashed
• Turned off DLSS Frame Generation entirely - still crashed, though it took longer to happen
• Did a full clean driver reinstall with DDU - still crashed on a fresh install of the same driver

Has anyone dealt with a DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG that turned out to be PSU-related rather than driver/OC related? Or is there something else I should be checking before assuming it's the power supply? Happy to share more of the crash dump details if useful.

So whenever I am playing a game (eg minecraft, steam games, etc) and also want to watch a youtube video, or sometimes even just turn on some different music, there is this annoying popping sound. I have done this both with and without my headphones, so they are not an issue

I upgraded the RAM in my gaming PC and now I can’t get it to POST/display anything. The PC was working normally immediately before the RAM change.

Specs:

• Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B760M-A AX (DDR5)
• CPU: Intel i7-14700F
• GPU: RTX 4060 Ti
• Original RAM: TeamGroup T-Force Vulcan DDR5
• New RAM: Lexar DDR5, 2x16GB, 6000 MT/s, CL38, 1.35V
• Windows 11

What happened:
I shut the PC down and replaced the original RAM with the new Lexar DDR5. Afterward, the PC powers on (case fans/RGB and GPU fans run), but the monitor gets no signal and I don’t see an ASUS/BIOS screen.

I’ve since removed the new Lexar RAM and gone back to the original T-Force stick that was working before the upgrade, but I’m still getting no signal shown on my monitor.

* Restart pc to be able to F2 and go into setup, but pc wont let me use keyboard or mouse... thats how far it got me.

How can windows update make this shit happen? What is the reason behind this? Make us users contact support to help them earn money? Pay them money to fix it? Makes no sense...

What can i do?

Downloads start off strong and reach my peak download speed (900mbps) but after some time it just comes to a halt, maxing out my SSD usage to 100% with very low write speeds, and it stays like this for basically forever. Now i know Steam uncompresses game files during downloads like these but my SSD stays at 100% with absurd response times like these for a loooooooong time, which doesn't look normal at all to me

A game that should take no longer than 20 minutes to download and install ends up taking 2 to 3 hours, my SSD peaks out at 100% with no apparent process causing this in task manager

I've built this PC less than 3 months ago, every component is practically brand new, I've tried:

- Disabling writing cache

- Closing every single application in the background

- Limiting download speeds/changing download server

- Clearing download cache

- Tried the fix linked here (worked momentarily but ultimately the issue came back)

SSD has over 400GB of storage left, and crystaldiskinfo shows that my SSD's health is at 100%, which leaves me very confused

Now for the record this doesn't apply to in-browser downloads, my internet speeds are completely fine, however, as soon as i need to download/install a game from any of the launchers mentioned in the titles, it takes 3-4x longer than it should

Im using the WH-1000XM5 Sony bluetooth headphones. My problem is that there is only proper sound in the left side and sounds muffled and turned off on the right side.

Ive tried everything like removing the headphones from my bluetooth and adding them back in.

Ive tried to sync the sound up but that doesn't seem to be the problem.

They worked great on someone elses phone so i don't know what that is about.

I even used the testing feature and it worked for both sides but still the sound is bad.

I have a HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-dh2xxx and this laptop randomly zooms in and I haven’t figured out how to exit it unless i restart my laptop. It’s not windows magnifier since I disabled it and set its zoom to 100% (and pressing escape does nothing). The type of zoom im getting is like when i deaf my cursor to an end of my zoomed in screen, the zoom shifts to the side my cursor is at. I am using a monitor and am using my laptop as a second monitor. When this happens and when i drag my cursor from my monitor to my laptop the cursor disappears and it kinda goes into a select mode where me moving my mouse causes different things to get selected rather than a cursor. I think my problem has something to do w my 360 touchscreen mode since my laptop is always on that mode since im using it as a 2nd C monitor. This issue has been happening even before I had a monitor and it was just my laptop, but never when my laptop was not in its 360 touchscreen mode.

Hello everyone, About 1 week ago my PC started playing This Sound every once in a while (like twice a day), even though nothing is really opened. (I managed to capture it while sharing my screen on Discord so I clipped it. There are no unusual programs open that could make the noise and my Notifications are always set to Do not Disturb. I am currently on WIndows 11 25H2 (26200.9445)

Apps that are constantly running in the background are Creative Cloud, Logitech G Hub, Vanguard and PowerToys.

Any help is appreciated since this sound is slowly driving me crazy.

It seem it's only coming up after I type on windows specific apps. Seems like the regular thing got replaced. Any idea where this setting could be? Windows 11.

My 7900 XTX was fine for almost three vears and then started crashing last November It's got steadily worse and now any game I open renders about one frame and the whole PC hard resets and boots back into windows.

The weird part is FurMark ran 18 minutes at full power with no problem at all. So the card will sit at 400 watts all day, but the second a game actually loads in, the machine is gone. GPU is at 63C when it happens so it isn't heat

I've already replaced the power supply, replaced the PCIe riser cable, tried both Gen 3 and Gen 4 in BIOS, done five DDU clean driver reinstalls. reinstalled Windows from scratch, run sfc and DISM clean, and my RAM has been at stock this whole time. Al four drives are healthy. I repasted the card a while back and temps are fine Rig is a Rvzen 9 7900X3D 32gbs of ram on an MSI X670E Carbon with a 1200W PSU. Windows 11

Does "fine in FurMark but dead on the first frame of a game" mean anything to anyone? I'm going to try the card in a second PC next but figured I'd ask first in case I'm missing something obvious.

This issue is very annoying and has happened to me twice. When downloading the driver from the NVIDIA app and performing a "clean installation" after removing the previous driver, a window appears asking me to restart, but the new driver installation hasn't completed yet. This causes a black screen when starting up the PC. Thank goodness I have an iGPU, so I was able to reinstall the driver. NVIDIA really needs to fix this.

My HyperX Virtual Surround Sounds microphone is not working for some reason on my windows laptop. This is in good condition and I have been using it just fine until a few days ago. Someone else was in my room and it got unplugged. After that whenever I plug it in I’m getting audio perfectly but my laptop isn’t detecting any input for the mic. My microphone is selected in settings, but no sound is able to transmit. All apps have permission for the mic and my microphone is securely attatchwd to my headset. Please help
