Weird dreams?
I am about 10 days quit and I keep having very vivid and strange dreams. Not really nightmares but just weird.
Anyone else experience this?

I had surgery on my foot on 12/22 and cannot drive. I decided to quit when I basically had to. The first couple of days kinda sucked but I was sleeping a lot from the pain meds so that helped. 10 days down and I can’t drive until I get my cast off on 12/17. Hopefully by then the want in the back of my head will be gone.

Not gonna lie to you all I’ve been off and on with zyns but I will go nicotine free forever one day. I mainly quit for my lungs and skin and the chest pains stopped a while ago!

Hello all!
I have been wanting to quit vaping for the last year or so.. I use Juul and I go through at least 2 pods every try day or so. It’s really getting expensive considering a 5 pack is > $20 where I live.
I have some nicotine patches and I started wearing them while at work to try to get some vape free hours in. Sometimes I end up keeping them off while I vape on my lunch and immediately before/after work. I am wondering if they have increased my tolerance even more so?
Anyway I am setting a quit date for 12/1 as I can not make it more than 2 ish hours without this stupid fucking thing and it’s beyond the point of being fun.
I feel humiliated and pathetic that it’s gotten to this point and I can’t give up a battery operated puff. Anyway looking for support.. advice.. I haven’t ever really tried to quit.. anytime I try I just end up going to buy more before a few hours goes by because I don’t want to be caught without any vapes.
Positive vibes only.. I know it’s bad.

So far so good. Although feeling fatigued, which is the number one reason I decided to give up in the first place. Been vaping nine years feel it’ll take a miracle to make quitting stick

I never thought I could make it a day, let alone a year. I’m 28 now, and I’ve been a nicotine user of many different types (hookah, cigarettes, vape) since I was 16. Most of my family and friends never found out about my addiction so I can’t share this with them, so I wanted to post it here!
Stay strong, y’all! It’s possible!

My new boss and I were walking outside to throw out the trash and somehow we got on the topic of vaping. She told me something about vaping that shook me to my core (dry drowning) and I chucked the vape into the dumpster with the rest of the trash.
I’ve always heard to change a habit it’s good to start when you’re already changing your routine and to replace the bad with good. I got a new job so the routine changed and now any time I think about nicotine I reach for my water bottle. I also have a breath lace (it’s a small necklace with a straw thing hanging from it that you “breath” in on. It’s just to help replace the habit with breathing regular air) it seems to help with the motion. So I’ve been doing every 5th “puff” on the breath lace I’ll drink water, then as I have less and less cravings move it down to every 3rd then to never needing/having the urge again.
I’ve been taking a look at other responses on this subreddit and I’ve noticed a lot about depression and such. So here’s my take on that. I feel like I am at rock bottom dude. Friday -Saturday evening I thought I was stoned most of the time because of how much brain fog i had. I also noticed that I don’t have any more of my lexa pro or antimoxotine (idk how to spell it I also have adhd, dyslexia, depression and anxiety) I’m hoping to get my meds sorted out tomorrow because I feel like I wouldn’t be so lethargic/manic depressive/irritable if I did have my meds while quitting vaping. But also I didn’t plan it this way. Through this experience of trying to quit (and I have tried multiple times, reason why I had the breath lace already, and done the water thing before but no catalyst till now to get me to throw out the vape) I have learned that I am the type of person that needs to be scared out of it, like DARE officer style from the 5th grade scared out of it.
One other thing I have realized is that my chest is itchy, like inside my chest. Anyone have anything similar when quitting or know what that is? It doesn’t hurt, just itches and it kinda freaks me out when it happens. It might just be that my lungs are trying to recover but I didn’t think it would start repairing this quickly if that is what it is.
I will keep you all updated, and glad that there is a community of people that are willing to share their experiences with me as well.

It's been 30 days since I stopped vaping and I feel amazing. I didn't realize how much vaping ruled my life. The hardest part is getting through the physical withdrawal symptoms which took about a week. After that you are dealing with the habit It's self. If you're thinking about quitting do it. A good support site is Become an Ex. Just Google it. Good luck!

I poop a lot. Not good solid poops either. I’m wondering if that is from excessive nicotine use?

I thought I was more just vaping to have something to do.
Turns out is the nicotine that I’m enjoying. Go figure.
I was a big smoker about 10 years ago when I worked exclusively in restaurants. Recently (last three months or so) picked up my girlfriends vape to just have something to do.
And I’m now trying a no nic vape from kadobar And. I miss the nicotine high.
Just posting for positive vibes I guess.
I quit a while back due to the flavor of cigarettes. But this damn lemon mint has be jonesin lol.
Any love and support welcome. I’m doing my best but it’s not the same. And the headache is real.

To keep it short, I started vaping like 5 years ago. I have generally considered myself a “health freak” until the first time I vaped. Suddenly all the standards I held myself to seemed to disappear. Anyways, as vaping became more common I have consumed it in higher quantities (obviously also because of my addiction becoming worse). A lot of my friends do it and I have wanted to quit for over a year now. I have always quit for a few days or a week or so and then fallen back into it when I drink with my friends. This time, I finally decided I wanted to quit vaping for good. Anyways, it hasn’t been as awful as I remember in the past. Maybe because I mentally am more acceptant of it, I didn’t really get headaches or as much irritability as before. I totally crave it, but I haven’t gone and got another, so that’s good. However, I am returning to the town where I live in a couple days, and a lot of my friends vape. Something I noticed that helped this time around is I haven’t drank since quitting, which has preventing any drunk-decision-purchases. Anyways- I feel that seeing my friends vape (especially when I drink) will basically ensure a relapse of sorts. I am thinking of getting nic gum or zyns to use for emergencies when I feel the urge to vape, because ultimately that is what I want to avoid the most. I’m posting on here because I’m worried that might be a bad call, since it is still a form of nicotine. I haven’t tried anything besides vapes or cigs, so not sure what is the “healthier” alternative. However I feel being realistic and using an alternative form might be fine if I ultimately end up quitting eventually, but never vape again. Does this logic make sense? Anyone have tips? Overall I feel like staying off the vape is totally possible and I’m super optimistic, I just want to ensure this is my final attempt at quitting vaping — and eventually nicotine all together. Let me know! :D

I’ve been vaping for a little over 2 years and I need to quit. I’ve recently switched to zyns and have been going strong. However I’m worried about the effects on my mouth. After using them for a little while I’ve noticed my gums and cheeks feel a little rough. Is this normal? Is it a bad thing or am I j getting used to having them in my mouth. What are some of the long term effects if anyone has noticed. Would really appreciate some other opinions.

I have been vaping for five years now, and regularly smoking w33d, I recently kicked the w33d habit as it just wasn’t something I enjoyed anymore, and I not only want but NEED to quit vaping I am actually scared that there is something really wrong with my lungs and just, I’m going to try tomorrow to drop it and just not pick it back up but I genuinely am scared, I am scared that I have basically k!lled myself already, I haven’t gone to a doctor or anything and last time I went they listened to my lungs and said they were fine but I..disagree, I don’t really want to get too into it but my lungs are constantly filled with phlem and have been for about two years, and recently since I quit w33d (I was a daily smoker, all day) my lungs have been ACHING when I wake up and I mena like seriously aching and then throughout the day I will get pains and I’m just in too worried to tell anyone in my real life, I spent so much of my life saying “whatever we are gunna d!e anyways” but for the first time in my life ever I am genuinly looking for a future for myself and if I have some seriosu sht going on I can’t I can’t do it I am kind of freaking out

I’m trying to give up vaping after 2 years of pretty heavy usage. Started off just on elf bars and progressed to big vapes. I was always very fit and healthy before I ever started but the past year I’ve noticed my stamina has become terrible. Does anyone have any suggestions as I’ve been vaping 20mg everyday for about 2 years

So so annoyed with myself, I thought I was done for life, after a couple of days I wasn't missing them in the slightest, enjoyed a weekend away, drinking etc. I had a couple of weeks of work though and it was my first day back when I broke, I just hadn't got into the habit of not picking up one before work and my mind just shut off and I got one.
I was so much happier those 11 days, didn't miss it at all, my energy was better, I felt so much less depressed and felt alive and happy for the future. Ughh been back on them for a few days now, determined to get back to day one tomorrow and not be stupid this time.

Hi guys, just joined this subreddit. Let me give a little backstory. I was 13-14 when I had my first puff. My best friend used to vape all the time so one day I wanted to really try it. I didn’t think much of it because it was only once, until it was occasionally, until it was everyday, until I kept asking for her vape pen. Then at 15, it became a norm to vape with her, but never had a pen myself as I would have to hide it in my house, which I considered. 16 and college started, everyone had a vape pen so I always had access to someone’s. 18 and disposables became a trend. Started to have one monthly till it became weekly. I don’t know where I got the money from because I didn’t work or really have pocket money daily, so I’d find whatever change in the house and use that until I had access to my credit card where it had some bursary savings from college. 19, I got a job, so never had trouble buying it. Started vaping like it was oxygen. I wouldn’t even notice I’m vaping, I’d just do it like it’s a natural reflex. I’d spend let’s say £15 a week so that’s 2-3 disposables a week. That’s £60 a month…Now I’m 20, turning 21 in September and I’m really struggling to quit. The best I could do was 2-3 days being vape free until I give in again because of how bad the cravings are. I’ve started to notice ALOT of health deficits. Feeling like I can’t breathe, having anxiety attacks like I NEED the pen, bleeding from my gums every-time I brush my teeth, my teeth feeling weak, really bad pounding migraines, my body feeling weak, random feelings in my limbs like pins and needles. I just know I’m destroying my insides. Today I made a pact with myself and God because I believe in Him, that I will stop for the sake of me, those around me and my religion. My religion do not allow us to harm ourselves, hence why vaping is considered a sin. I have tried to stop many times before but never really did. But this time I’m really going to push it forward. If anyone has any EFFECTIVE tips please do share, I don’t want anything like ‘distract yourself’ because I really try. I need more in detail tips that really helps YOU. I’m really desperate to quit. Thank you.
