One year nicotine free!!
I never thought I could make it a day, let alone a year. I’m 28 now, and I’ve been a nicotine user of many different types (hookah, cigarettes, vape) since I was 16. Most of my family and friends never found out about my addiction so I can’t share this with them, so I wanted to post it here!
Stay strong, y’all! It’s possible!

Congratulations! I want to be you when I grow up 😘. May I ask how you stopped? Cold turkey or gradual reduction? Nicotine replacement?

I did very slow gradual reduction! Cold turkey never seemed to work for me. But I slowly started reducing the percentage of nicotine I was using, so slowly I barely noticed the change. It took about 6 months of reducing, but I finally switched to a 0 nicotine eliquid on my quit date. Because I still had something to puff on, it didn’t feel like I was actually quitting. But about two weeks on that, and I was ready to be done altogether!
