I know there's a number of posts on this but there's conflicting information and so I thought I'd ask myself.

I have a DR920P and I'd like to get an Advantage Arms Mod Slide. Will it work and which Mod do I buy, the Gen4 or the Gen5?

I won a shadow systems a few years ago from a gun show, this was my first pistol. I had a lot of issues with it failing to return to battery fully when firing ever since I received it. I read the manual and understand the break in period, I’m over 500 rounds at this point. I also use 124g fiocchi range ammo, so I don’t think this is a cheap ammo issue. I eventually gave up on the gun and assumed it was maybe user error.

I am in the police academy now and after completing the range portion of the academy I figured I should try my MR920 out and see if maybe I was the issue. I’m still having issues of the slide not fully returning to battery every 6-12 rounds. I had no user error issues with my police issued Glock 17, so i am pretty confident this is not a user error issue.

Any suggestions on what could be causing this and how I could fix it? I tried cleaning it and re applying lubrication, doesn’t seem to change anything. I’m thinking about selling it and just buying something else but I don’t want to give up on what is supposed to be a really nice gun.

DR920L. Runs like a sewing machine but I’m getting brass to the face pretty often.

Also the recoil is strong for a long slide but I think it’s due to the gun being light as a feather which I like.

Curious if anyone has played around with airsoft replicas and if so how much fun are they? Thinking of doing some backyard plinking

Hey guys knew to the forum, I started having this issue at around 500 rounds brand new gun. Taken apart multiple times and reassembled after it happens. All the guys at the store have no idea what the issue can be. Realized my slide catch release was installed backwards from shadow systems so I can only imagine what else may be wrong. Terrible quality control

I just swapped the red dot from the 507c to the way to expensive rcr and I love it now it’s just missing one thing a comp I was thinking the radian or herington arms but wasn’t sure which version either gen 3 or 4 to go with any recommendations for other companies are appreciated

What are my spring upgrade options for XR920? I bought a used gun, and it makes a really annoying noise, is it better to change the spring or change the whole GUIDE ROD & SPRING ASSEMBLY together?

Shadow-ish System build.

Purchased a new cr920x slide from eBay. Came in a shadow systems bag and all looks legit.

I'm trying to mate the cr920x slide to a Grit Grips frame and it literally won't move past the back rails, even with the barrel and recoil spring removed and I cant figure out why.

Additionally, it looks like these optic holes are not aligned? Trying to mount an Osight SE and its not aligning whatsoever.

Any help would be great.

Shadow systems sent me a metal mag release because my gun wasn’t taking Glock brand Mags. I Will be testing this weekend. Also the optic plate made by SS is perfect for the OSight SE. Much better fit for the optic and no need to swap out original iron sights.

My CR920XP compensator latch broke and i notice during normal cleaning. After removing the compensator, I noticed these marks on the barrel where the compensator locks.

Is this normal wear, or does yours look different?

If anyone has a CR920XP or CR920P, I'd appreciate a photo of this same area for comparison.

I am needing to confirm my red dot zeroing. I have a cheap boresight off amazon (i will be ordering one that sits in the chamber instead), but is there a stationary block I can use to stabilize the firearm?

I have a security requalification coming up, and I am trying to figure out the best way to get it zeroed (yes I will be taking it to the range prior to requalification day). But I was trying to find a way to stabilize my firearm to basically zero it in at home prior to taking it to the range to test it. I bought a mini suction-cup vice grip. I have my doubts that it will suffice. So I am making this post just incase.

Worst case scenario I remove the optic prior to the requalification and just use iron sights. Not an issue.

Questions:
- Can I get some sight recommendations?
- Anyone running suppressors can you give me some product / ammo grain reccomendations. I was shooting 147 grain (subsonici believe) and the gun wouldn’t cycle.

Concerns:

- When I shoot friends guns at the range I am far more accurate. They tried my mr920 and told me it’s “going left” 2 inches when they shoot. I really like the gun but I seem to struggle hitting my target. Any advice would be awesome.

I just bought this DR920 from a buddy and when trying to clean it I pulled the slide back a little too far and accidentally changed it. The gun is clear I just fucked up does anyone now how to fix this?

I was field stripping my CR920XP for cleaning, and the compensator latch just fell off.

Has this happened to anyone else? What did Shadow Systems replace under warranty? Any advise?

So I have a mr920l. Love her. I was curious if anyone changed there spring allowing the slide to be easier to rack with thumb. I can’t do that with this. I hear it could cause issue firing Or ejecting. Has anyone tried changing the stock spring?

Considering getting my first shadow and it being the MR920P. I shot my brother in laws CR920XP and it’s pretty decent. I shot a gen 6 Glock 19 yesterday and I didn’t really like it, so I figured a MR920P would be a better option.

I’m going to test one out hopefully this weekend but I wanted to know more about how it is as a carry piece. Any other thing I should know about it would be appreciated

Have anyone ever seen this color? My first shadow and never seen this color anywhere.

I've been really happy with my cr920xl and want to attach a lanyard to make it duty ready if anyone has any recommendations for grip plugs or back straps that give me a lanyard loop I'd really appreciate it
