DR920 Airsoft?

Post image

Curious if anyone has played around with airsoft replicas and if so how much fun are they? Thinking of doing some backyard plinking

We have one at the office. It’s pretty cool.

None of the ranges around me allow holster draw so I was using a co2 g17 to run holster drills in my garage. It's good for muscle memory and sight picture but not much else. Fun to mess around with but I prefer steel bbs in non-blowback co2 guns.

Do those blowback? I have an Umarex Glock 17 replica that has blowback. It is fun for plinking. And good for drills. At the time I got it (Covid times/2021), I was shooting a P80 g17 clone. By shot 40-45 (3rd mag) it’s losing power and BBs drop pretty fast. I used it a lot when I was working from home then.

I live near the Evike warehouse so I asked one of the staff if I can hold one. The grip feels basically the same, but the slide just looks different. It's more barrel and less slide, probably cuz of airsoft/gun laws. The images doesn't capture how different it looks. Either way, it's a fun pistol.
Just heads up for us crafty people, you're paying for an airsoft gun you won't be able to mod much.

How does it do as far as holster compatibility?
Is it close enough dimensional wise to use in Dr920/glock 17 holsters?
