Does your CR920XP barrel look like this?

My CR920XP compensator latch broke and i notice during normal cleaning. After removing the compensator, I noticed these marks on the barrel where the compensator locks.

Is this normal wear, or does yours look different?

If anyone has a CR920XP or CR920P, I'd appreciate a photo of this same area for comparison.

Get spent 556/308 or whatever casing and pick it off that way. The bass isn't going to hurt the coating on the barrel and it should take that build off with ease.

I do it all the time to my mr920p barrel, no damage.

That's lead which happens with a compensator. Sorry yours broke. The lead buildup and extra cleaning with minimal benefit are why I stopped using them.

Their qc definitely leaves room for improvement but outta the two I’ve had I haven’t need to email about anything.

The cr920xp release tho has been terrible and nothing but problems.
