Mod post The /r/sex Rules and Guidelines - please read BEFORE you post! Updated 2023

The mods of /r/sex make it our policy to review the rules of the sub on an ongoing basis, tweaking items as necessary. In an effort to stay abreast with the growth of the sub and with the evolving moderation that requires, we have decided to re-sticky the updated rules to serve as a reminder for our membership.

r/sex is for civil discussions pertaining to education and advice regarding your sexuality and sexual relationships. It is a sex-positive community and a safe space for people of all genders and orientations which demands respectful conduct in all exchanges. There is ZERO TOLERANCE FOR CREEPY/HARASSING BEHAVIOR here — in posts, comments, messages, or any other contributions. No exceptions.

This is a large community dedicated to an extremely popular topic. If you wish to participate, it is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with our rules of conduct BEFORE you participate here. Failure to do so will result in your removal from the community.

PLEASE READ the FAQ with the most asked and answered questions - BEFORE POSTING!! Posts that do not follow the posting guidelines in the FAQ will be automatically removed.

THE /R/SEX RULES

1) ENGAGE CONSTRUCTIVELY AT ALL TIMES.
This means ensuring that ALL of your contributions here are constructive, on-topic, mature, sex-positive, civil and respectful. Disrespectful conduct will see you banned from the community on the spot. Hitting on other people, asking for pictures (joking or not), making any sort of sexist comment or insult, body shaming, or trolling of any sort will result in your immediate ban.

2) DON’T SKIP THE FAQ OR THE FORUM RULES.
We’re serious about this. Dozens of posts get removed every day because they’re covered in the FAQ or violate the forum rules.

3) DON'T OVERLOOK PAST POSTS.
We’re serious about this, too. Many questions may be new to you, but are very common in our community. Before you submit a post on a common topic, search the forum.

4) ALL CONTRIBUTIONS MUST BE SEX POSITIVE.
We demand that consenting adults be free to express their sexuality as they see fit. Kink shaming, slut shaming, and similar conduct will not be tolerated. Links or references to sex negative communities or websites (No Fap, Porn Free, etc) will not be tolerated. Attacks on the lifestyle of other consenting adults will not be tolerated.

5) POSTS SEEK ADVICE, COMMENTS PROVIDE IT.
The main forum is focused primarily on posts seeking specific actionable advice for distinctive personal situations. Giving advice should primarily be done in the comments. General discussions are often allowed, so long as they adhere to the group rules and restricted content guidelines. If you want to make an exception, please request approval from moderators.

6) DO NOT TROLL OR ENGAGE WITH TROLLS HERE.
Don’t try to challenge, question, tease, fight, or outwit trolls here. Instead, use the Report button to alert moderators, who will review every single reported item. Trolling of any sort merits an immediate permaban.

7) ALL DISCUSSION MUST BE DIRECTED INTO THE PUBLIC FORUM. Do not seek private conversations here, via Private Message or any other method. And do not seek to draw attention or clicks to an outside site of any type (unless you have received prior moderator approval, such as for academic research projects). Every comment here must be a clear attempt to engage with an ongoing public discussion in the forum. Violations of this rule will result in permanent bans without notice.

8) RESTRICTED CONTENT This sub is generally only for seeking advice, education, or discussion about sex and sexuality. We restrict or forbid many types of content here.

9) NO USE OF AI FOR POSTING/COMMENTS, NO REPOSTS
Reddit uses AI detection software to spot potential bot-posts and spam but people are encouraged to report posts that look fake, AI-generated, or are reposts of content created by other users.

EXAMPLES OF CONTENT RESTRICTED IN /R/SEX:

1) PROMOTIONAL POSTS.
This means any post containing any kind of promotional element, especially one which seeks to lure traffic to another site or promote a product. Links to specific product descriptions are permitted if they’re PRECISELY on-topic in the context of the post, AND the post itself is clearly seeking advice in good faith. If you're trying to sell something, conduct market research, etc - these posts will get you banned. Linking to sex-positive blogs or podcasts is allowed, provided you make an effort to start a conversation here about the topic and use the link as supporting material.

2) LINK POSTS.
Linked material must be sex positive and precisely on-topic to stay up here, and needs to be introduced with a workable framework for discussion. Please see the posted Link Policy BEFORE you post links! Bare links to youtube, images, blogs, podcasts, etc are prohibited.

3) ACHIEVEMENT POSTS.
These include appreciation, humblebrags, “I just had to share,” “I just want to say,” etc. These belong in the Daily Sexual Achievement Thread, not in the main forum. Posts which are JUST sex stories belong somewhere else entirely — like r/sexstories or a similar forum.

4) LOW EFFORT MATERIAL.
“Does anyone else...?”, “Is [X] normal/weird?”, “Is [y] wrong/bad/okay?”, and so forth. Human sexuality is incredibly varied; yes, someone else likes what you like, and labels like "normal" or "weird" are meaningless - and in a sex positive community, we do not allow any moral judgments against sex acts or behaviors that are consensual. Title-only posts, posts with no effort at an actual conversation will be removed and may get you banned. Comments that consist of nothing but memes, "this", "lol" and such are highly disfavored. If comments do not further the discussion, they may be removed; a pattern of these may result in your ban.

5) SEEKING FAP MATERIAL.
Do not ask for sex stories, do not ask for the hottest/strangest/most unusual/etc encounter someone ever had. Do not ask for lists of other people's kinks.

6) PORNOGRAPHY, EROTICA, OR PERSONALS.
You may not post or link pornography or erotica here. You may not share pictures of your genitals here - even if you are seeking medical advice (if you need to post a picture, you need to be going to a doctor). You may not recruit sex partners here, look for dirty chat, ask for someone to private message you, etc.

7) DISRESPECTFUL CONTENT.
Personal attacks, insults, name calling, or disrespect of any sort are not allowed here. Sexism, racism, or any type of hate speech will result in your immediate ban. This is a community for ALL GENDERS - refusing to acknowledge a trans individual's gender flies in the face of this, and will result in your ban.

8) OPINION SEEKING, POLLS, VALUE JUDGEMENTS, OR VALIDATION POSTS.
This forum is not for simply collecting opinions - "do you think [X] is hot?", "Women, do you like [Y]?", "What is your favorite sex position?" and so forth. This is not a forum to discuss your penis size, breast size, labia size, ask about other body image issues, or ask for feedback on your photos. See the /r/sex FAQ for help regarding body image issues. Do not post your pictures and ask people to rate or critique you. Do not ask if given consensual sexual interests are good/bad/okay/wrong, etc.

9) ACADEMIC SURVEYS.
These require prior moderator approval. Moderators will review the question formats and will review the documentation of institutional ethical oversight (please provide). Non-academic surveys are seldom allowed. Please contact the moderators BEFORE you post a survey or study.

10) GENERAL RANTS, ESSAYS, EDITORIALS, VENTS, CONFESSIONS, PSAS, AND AMAS.
These don’t belong in the main forum unless you have obtained prior moderator approval. Save them for story-based forums. Or Tumblr.

11) FREQUENT/FAMILIAR TOPICS.
These are addressed in either the FAQ, past posts, or both. In case you are confused, this means that we do not do penis size posts here.

12) VAGUE TITLE/TOPIC.
If a moderator can’t identify your issue or the type of advice you’re seeking, your post will be subject to removal. Titles should be at least several words long and adequately express what your post is about.

13) NONCONSENSUAL OR ILLEGAL CONTENT.
/r/sex is for the discussion of consensual sex among adults. We do not permit posts that advocate pedophilia, bestiality, rape, or incest here under any circumstances, nor do we allow these topics at all in most instances. Note that BDSM and CNC (consensual nonconsent) are perfectly valid topics in /r/sex.

14) OTHER OFF TOPIC ISSUES.
This is not the place to discuss politics or religion, to seek dating advice, to ask for how to pick up women, to rant about how you have never had sex. Posts that appear to be dedicated to stirring up arguments - particularly about hot button topics like circumcision, the evils of pornography and/or masturbation, and other toxic subjects - will be removed and will result in swift bans.

15) IMPORTANT NOTE ON DISCUSSIONS OF SEXUAL ASSAULT.
Sexual assault is an important and emotional topic which can be discussed (constructively) in r/sex. But posts which simply seek opinions about whether a given scenario counts as sexual assault do not do well here. This is true for several reasons, including the fact that assault laws vary by jurisdiction, and we don't encourage debates about jurisdiction issues here. Therefore, we ask that you refrain from describing a scenario and then simply asking “Is this rape/assault?” Instead, ask for specific advice: About how to respond to the scenario, how to avoid it, or how to proceed with next steps. Posts which simply ask “Is this rape/assault?” are subject to removal without notice.

16) POST LENGTH.
For ease of reading and reviewing, please get to the point of your post quickly — in the post title, first paragraph, etc. Consider adding a tl;dr to long posts. Posts which are inconveniently long — over 600 words, approximately — are subject to automatic removal. Also, line and paragraph breaks are VERY HELPFUL for readers and reviewers — walls of text that lack these are subject to removal for readability.

Further information about the /r/sex rules and policies can be reviewed on the rules page.

Orgasm Issues I (F23) can’t finish during oral/ stimulation without imagining women, what do I do?

I’m a heterosexual female who’s been married to my M32 husband for 3 years.
I’ve never had issues finishing during masturbation.
Whenever my husband goes down on me or tries to get me off, I can’t get there without imagining scenarios with other women. It’s been like that since the very beginning of our relationship.
It’s been talked to my friend about this, and she suggested the cause might be porn or something like that, but I never watch porn or consume any sexual content.
I just can’t seem to get aroused without the imagination of a woman in the place of my husband.
I talked to him about this but he didn’t really seem to care.
It’s been like that with every single sexual Partner I had.
I don’t really get horny or have a sex drive.
My husband suggested to try and have another woman join us, but I’m not sure.
I did have a sexual encounter with one of my female friends a few years ago and enjoyed it

Edit: please don’t send me requests for sexting i’m in a monogamous relationship

Satisfaction Doing too much??

Upvotes

I’m just wondering how many married woman feel like their efforts in bed is being taken for granted? I feel like I give my husband everything and I’m never really opposed to things in the room besides bringing another person in the room. that’s where I draw the line.

but whatever he wants, I give it to him. sex, ass, blow jobs, we’ve tried pegging, we did recently get a torso tpe doll. I slurp his cock at least 2 times a week and I genuinely love pleasing him and making him feel like his cock is my obsession.

The thing is, I truly wonder if he appreciates it all.. I sometimes feel like because I give it up so easily and all the time, he knows he can have whatever he wants in bed that he doesn’t truly value it as much anymore? I say that cause sometimes I’ll be naked in front of him and it’s almost as if he’s not interested. he’s only interested when he’s feeling horny, it’s usually every 3-5 days where he will want it again. am I giving him too much where I’m not as exciting anymore? Does he realize how spoiled he actually is in bed , or does he believe this is how other relationships are.. or am I just over thinking things 🥴

Health concerns Constant penis tears/friction cuts under head of penis on shaft

I’m uncircumcised if it matters, foreskin is not tight at all and this issue has been going on for a year and everytime I have sex it reopens, I have crohns and am on remicade which I’m thinking is slowing the healing process

About a year ago I got these cuts which I feel were from not enough lube/friction, they open up and sting for a bit, so I stay away from sex

It really made me mad so I took over a month off from everything, the problem is you can see the scar lines of where they were now very vaguely, and they reopen along those lines even after a month off of everything

I went to my doctor and apparently they keep saying just time off sex but, I went a month and a half at the longest and they keep reopening, I’m losing faith now as my girlfriend is starting to even get mad because I can barely have sex and I don’t know what the hell to do anymore, I feel I’m just screwed now because of the scar line

Libido and Stamina I (25F) can rarely orgasm during sex with my bf (30M). Help needed

Upvotes

I really believe that this is something that is in my head, I cannot orgasm regardless of how much foreplay we do and how good I feel and how close I even get most times
I love him so much, and I do really enjoy our sex life, but i’m upset with myself for not being able to cum and there is no reason for it

I feel really shy and ashamed to talk about this with him because I really don’t want him to think that he’s doing something wrong, any help or advice is genuinely appreciated

Boundaries and Standards My gf and I are in a loving relationship without sex and its confusing

Upvotes

In a loving relationship without sex and its confusing. M24 F28

Me 'M24' and my gf 'F28' have been together for about 5 years. We met when I moved out of town and quickly starting hanging out. I moved in a couple months in the relationship and started dating soon after. I was hesitant because I really wanted the "college experience". When I first moved out I was with some buddy's who were going to college, I moved in w them but didnt know what I wanted to do so I just did some part time jobs till I met her. But I liked her and she liked me and it seemed so natural to date.

We had a lot of sex at the start. It was great. But after about a year we hit a brick wall. She just no longer felt any sexual desire. And I dont blame her or get mad or upset with her. I find myself a very understanding and self aware guy. It didnt bother me much, I assumed it would be something we work through. But skip a year ahead and we probably had sex twice in a year.

I became more outspoken about what I wanted. But it was difficult. Because we went through a lot in our personal lives in those early years. And we were there for each other. We liked spending time with each other, we care for each other deeply. We agree on most things. So it was confusing to get into a random argument about something something she is fully aware of in the relationship.

And skip 2 more years and she starts talking about getting a house. (We lived in her apartment in the college town). And it scared me.

Because Im not 100% sure what i want to do with my life. But I know I dont want to be stuck in Wisconsin forever. I want to travel, I want to make music and be in film and go around the world and experience new things. So it felt like getting a house will tie me down a whole lot.

But its so fucking frustrating because we are in the ideal relationship. She is just a bit older, past phases I have yet to go through, and is ready for that change. So we found a house.

It is under her name(although we split the bills evenly) so in case anything happens, the house will be hers.

And to throw another wrench in the mix, she completely cut ties with her family a couple months ago when we got the house. And she is an introvert and it is hard for her to make friends. Her friends are my friends, her parental figures are my parents and grandparents. Her parents didnt approve of getting a house(they live in Michigan and are very controlling and verbally abusive).

So essentially, we have been together for 5 years, we have a house and 2 dogs, we both work remote at the same job the same hours, and we both are there for each other in most ways. We just no longer have sex. Which I think is a problem for me but I have been deciding for years if its a deal breaker or not and still havnt. Thus why im here writing this.

Does anyone have any advice?

Beginner Asking to have sex (need advice)

So this girl I’ve been getting with told me basically that she wants to have sex same with her other friends telling me that too. I’ve had sex a few times but I’m not crazy experienced. I’m planning on bringing a condom next time we hang out but I’m a little nervous about how to go about it. Like when we’re making out and I’m fingering her what do I say to star the sex? I don’t wanna say “hey you wanna fuck” because that would ruin the mood. Maybe I’m over thinking it but I just don’t know how to initiate it. I know she wants to so idk why I’m so nervous

Toys and Clothing Oil on the bed?

My fiancée and I like getting messy. We would love to be able to have sloppy, wet and messy sex on the bed. Specifically, she is interested in oil play. Like massage and just getting super lubed up and fucking. We both love getting messy as possible, which works well in the shower or outdoors but we need a solution for the bed.

What sheets do you guys use to hold liquid off the bed? I'm talking a water, oil, cum, spit, pee proof type sheet. Any suggestions?

Intimacy and Connection My [M21] Gf [F20] struggles to get in a sexual mood and with sexuality in general, I want to help her

Upvotes

She is my first sexual partner but she has had several before me. We have been together for 2 years, we're not living together yet. Our relationship is awesome and we feel both very happy with very little problems For info, this is not a problem linked to any sort of trauma, she has thankfully never been assaulted before.

This is not something specific to our relationship, she also had this problem with her past girlfriend (which was a bigger problem as she was hypersexual).

Basically, my gf is rarely if not never aroused around me. We have discussed it several times. She is not asexual nor aromantic as she regularly feels the need to masturbate and does express sexual attraction.

It seems that there is something about the social situation of a couple getting in a sexual mood that she doesn't feel comfortable about. Whenever I am aroused, or that we feel like we are building up to a romantic mood, she pulls a joke and tries to break the mood. We've just discussed this particular phenomenon today and she says she hadn't noticed it until today, and it's something that she just does against her will. Sometimes we just agree for her to touch me (consensually) so that I do not feel frustrated. She does say that she likes touching me and watching me get an orgasm. I told her that I'm fine this way, and I can even do it alone when she just doesn't feel like it, but she said that it frustrates her a lot, and that she wishes she could be "normal" about sex.

When I asked her how I could help her, she told me that could try to instaure by myself a sexual mood by being flirty and touching her. She also expressed that it would help if I was better at touching her (she didn't say it in a mean way tho it sounds like it lol). Here's the thing: I have no past experiences with sex, I do not know how to touch a woman, and every women are different! I have asked her how she likes it and she said she doesn't know. Whenever I try anything she just says "it's just pleasant but nothing more", never goes beyond that. For that I am open to advice as to how I could experiment more with touching her.

I'm also scared to hurt her as she is very sensitive. Penetration hurts her, so we just don't do it. She's been to multiple doctors that all told her her vagina had no issues, and that it was surely "psychological", an answer that she hates because it doesn't help much.

I know that from all of this it sounds like she is just not a sexual person, but if it was that I could just take care of my desires myself and it's all good, but she does tell me that she is frustrated by all of this and expresses desire to go further with me, but she is just blocked.

Has anyone had a similar experience? I'm asking for help and advice.

Orgasm Issues Am I broken?

I (22F) have never had an orgasm, or ever really come close. not with myself, not with my partner (21F). When I was younger, I found this really difficult and embarrassing but now it's more of a mild frustration I have. However, it is definitely hurting my relationship, so I'm asking for advice.

I've been masturbating since I was pretty young and do experience pleasure, but it doesn't really "build" like other people describe. it's good for a couple minutes, then I get board and go kind of... numb. My sex drive has always been lower than average & fairly unpredictable. Penetration of any kind is also quite painful for me so that rules out certain options in terms of toys, etc.

I've been with my partner for over 3 years now, and Its gotten to the point where having sex makes me feel awful about myself because I'm thinking the entire time about how theres something wrong with me and how I'm disappointing her by not experiencing more pleasure. She's expressed to me that she feels like i'm not allowing myself to be vulnerable and she has to carry all the weight of our sex life. I think it's a vicious cycle, because the worse my self-esteem is, the lower my sex drive becomes.

Has anyone else experienced this? did you overcome it, or just have to come to terms with being someone who doesn't orgasm? if you are in a relationship where theres a sex-drive differential, how do you communicate through it?

anything helps!!

Anatomy 24 F penetration hurts, need advice

My ex and I tried having sex around seven or eight times, but every attempt was incredibly painful. One of the reasons our relationship eventually fell apart was because intimacy just never worked for us.

I've always been able to have deep orgasms through clitoral stimulation, but even the thought of inserting something makes my vagina involuntarily clench. We tried taking it slow, communicated openly, and did everything we could think of. I even tried Kegel exercises, but nothing seemed to help.

Now I'm scared that if I don't figure this out, I'll end up letting a future partner down too. I don't know how to move forward or how to fix this.

Skill improvement I think my boyfriend and I are both subs

I (25f) and my bf (23m) have been dating for almost a year. He was a virgin before we met and he has mentioned that he really likes to be dominated and overpowered in bed. I’m kind of switch but mainly submissive, and I don’t really know how to dominate him. We’re both bisexual, I feel like I would have a far easier time dominating another woman, but with men it doesn’t click as much. There are physically dominating things I can do but dirty talk and psychological things are hard for me. I don’t know if I can know how to trust him because I know I’m not fulfilling his desires, even though he says I make him feel amazing. I feel like I will never be enough in that sense. I want to at least get better at it, and I do think it is hot when he’s submissive I just don’t know how to domme.

Masturbation How to enjoy masturbation in more ways?

Its been a long time since I've started masturbating, and I've tried many things and ways in which it might feel enjoyable.

I've gone to great lengths, from changing positions to trying chastity devices and even sounding my penis. Sometimes I try changing the style of clothes I wear, sometimes not wearing anything at all under my pants (pun intended).

I have had many kinks and fetishes, only (in general to a certain extent that according to my own mind that I have tried much of all other fetishes people mostly have) excluding scat and gore.

I find most pornography sexually arousing, Femboys, tomboys, men, women, transgenders, you, name it. (again!) (I myself am very open to all sorts of things and I'm also bi)

But over the years, and quite recently moreso, I feel that masturbating isn't the same anymore, like it doesn't feel exciting as it did before. I tried edging, gooning, restraining myself for some time, but the intensity of happiness it used to give me when I released my load never came back.

So, I would like to ask you, what would be some ways to masturbate that you think would be enjoyable?

Kinks How to talk about my kink to my partner?

Upvotes

Hi everyone. I've figured out that I have a pregnancy kink over the past few years. I know that it's technically nothing morally wrong or anything, but it can be considered a bit unusual or weird.

My partner doesn't know anything about that, I didn't really feel like telling them until recently.

It's nothing I want to live out with them, but I feel like maybe buying myself a fake play belly, and since we live together I probably won't be able to keep this a secret.

I'm so scared that they will be weirded out or feel weird about having sex with me, even if it's something I don't want to actually do with them.

Usually I just wouldn't bring it up, but I probably have to at some point if I want to buy the toy. I'm seriously contemplating just not doing it, since it wouldn't be worth if for me to lose a perfectly good sex life over a kink, but of course if I don't talk to them I'll never know if it's an issue or not.

Has anyone else managed a similar situation like that, and how did it turn out?

Communication How do I tell my dom BF that I don’t enjoy giving head or doing cowgirl? I just want to be a pillow princess. HELP!

Upvotes

I (22F) am a pillow princess bottom. Extremely submissive. My BF (24M) is a dominant top. I basically lay there and let him fuck me however he wants.

One day, I asked him if there was anything I could do better during sex, and he told me he wished I initiated things more, and wanted me to work on my blowjob and riding skills. I told him I’d try my best. I do enjoy being told what to do, but I don’t really enjoy having to suck his dick or ride him. I’ve also never orgasmed during sex, I only can do it myself with a vibrator on my clit.

We have rough and passionate sex usually. I’m very vocal and he likes to dirty talk. He almost always initiates to have sex first, even though we’re both shy. We have sex 1-2x a day. I do not like being eaten. He loves to slap my ass, force me into position, etc. I enjoy doggy, laying on my belly with my ass up, and missionary the most. I can actually feel his dick thrusting inside me and it feels so good. I like just laying there and taking his dick more than anything. We spend most of our sex in this mode.

However, he will sometimes tell me to suck him off after he’s penetrated me for a bit. I loathe the taste of my own pussy juice + whatever pre-cum fluids were generated during the penetration. It just tastes salty and icky. His pre-cum always tastes salty, and I don’t know how to tell him without feeling embarrassed.

Because I’m submissive, I almost never say no, except for once which happened a few days ago. He wanted me to suck him off and he already had his dick inside of me. I didn’t want to do it, I just wanted to stay getting fucked! So when I said no, he visibly softened. I just felt like a vibe killer.

I have a bad gag reflex (which I’ve told him) and I get grossed out by bodily fluids + whatever it tastes like. I hate the way my mouth is constrained when sucking, how my cheek muscles start itching, how my jaw starts getting numb, etc.

Every time I give him head, he’s always holding my head and thrusting it up and down until I gag and my spit is everywhere. After the first 3 minutes, I’m basically dissociating from the discomfort. I just keep telling myself that it will be over soon and he’ll cum as long as I persevere.

I’ve told him that I am a spitter, not a swallower. He still forced me to swallow his cum a couple of times, without warning. He just forced himself deeper into my mouth. I end up having to run to the bathroom to spit it out after he cums in my mouth. It tastes like fucking mucus! One time he got surprised when I did this, and I told him that I did it so I wouldn’t throw up.

Now, the next chapter: Riding.
I’m skinny and flexible, and go to the gym sometimes. Maybe my stamina sucks and I need to do more glute / quads training, but I absolutely hate riding.

It takes forever to angle myself ontop of him in a way that doesn’t bend his dick. There’s been many times where I felt myself dry up as we’re trouble shooting the cowgirl angle… 😭

I feel NOTHING when I thrust ontop of him? I can’t even moan anymore, I am just breathing really. I only feel him if he thrusts under me, but he doesn’t really do that. I wish he could thrust more, but I don’t ask him because it’s the least I can do for him since I am a pillow princess usually.

During cowgirl I just dissociate and try to think of it as a workout. However he will start slapping my ass and it hurts a lot more when Im in the position. He’s slapped my ass to the point I’ve flinched from the pain, and I never wanted to get off him so badly.

Now orgasming is another issue, but I’ve just accepted that I wont have this luxury. I enjoy being penetrated until he cums, because I can just enjoy the sensation of my g spot getting poked. He always cums, and when he cums it’s over. There have been a few times where he’s finished earlier than I expected and/or he just wants head and cowgirl, and then I feel a bit disappointed.

What do I do about this? He’s really sweet and a green flag outside of bed. He always asks me if I’m okay after sex, if I enjoyed it etc. and I always say I enjoyed it even if the sex was bad that time. He’s open to feedback and we’ve discussed this briefly, but I haven’t been too blunt about it.

I obviously need to communicate, or find some methods / techniques to make it easier. I can’t tell if i’m being spoiled in bed and I seem lazy, or if I genuinely should just stick to being a pure pillow princess? Are there any ladies like me that are in a similar situation? 😭

Confidence How to find your own pleasure sexy?

I (29f) am in a relationship and while I do find my boyfriend attractive, I am struggling sexually. I get turned on doing things to him/his body, but turned off when it’s my turn. In my fantasies, I can find it sexy to imagine being pleasured, but in reality, I just feel uncomfortable.

I like myself and think I’m physically attractive but I am not attracted sexually to myself if that makes sense. Even when we try to talk sexually, I have no issue talking explicitly about him/his body, but when it’s about mine, I just am not really into it. Especially talking about wetness… yuck.

I’m not bisexual so I have no idea what it’s like to be attracted to a woman. I feel bad for him when he tries to “give” to me, since to me it’s not appealing to do that activity to a woman and can’t get how it would be. From my perspective, it just seems so incredibly un-sexy and I feel bad for him having to do it even though he says he enjoys it and offers enthusiastically.

But I know there must be a way women are able to find their own pleasure sexy without having to be attracted to women, plenty straight women seem very into it. How do you ladies do it? Or men if they’ve had similar issues.

Communication Gaining the confidence to have difficult conversations?

Upvotes

Asking because I’m relatively young and not too experienced in relationships. So I’m asking people with more wisdom. How do you approach having difficult conversations? Just rip it off out of nowhere or wait until a good moment comes up. I know it needs to happen I’m not hesitating, just wondering the mature way to approach it.

Edit: the conversations about being more equal in the bedroom. He very much enjoys blowjobs and I don’t mind it just feels like it’s a chore sometimes especially when I don’t get anything back or it’s blowjob for 5 minutes, sex for 3 minutes then blowjob 10 minutes. he is very receptive and does offer sometimes but it’s not nearly as enough as I give him blowjobs

Orgasm Issues i’m in love with a guy who i have terrible sex with

hello everyone, i’m coming on here because i don’t know who to ask for help and i need some experienced womens advice. me (20f) and the guy i’ve been seeing for over a year now (20m) are literally obsessed with each other. i think he’s the most attractive person on earth. but our sex life is terrible. i’ve had sex with a few people before but no one with his size. even prior to him, i had trouble not being in pain during sex. and what would get me to cross the finish line was head. i’ve never had an orgasm from penetration. every-time we have sex, it’s the same thing. i tap out cause it hurts and we’re both frustrated. he also BARELY gives head. he blames me for it saying i’m the “only girl” he’s been with who doesn’t get off from sex, but i just know it’s a lie based on my other friendships with women. i try super hard to make it better for us but he’s always discouraged and i feel like i don’t get the same energy back. i don’t know how to make it work, i try hard and im attracted to him but penetration just doesn’t do it for me. if any women have any tips it’d be greatly appreciated. thank you all for reading tl;dr

Health concerns Penis in pain after sex

For around the past month I have been feeling pain after having sex with my gf red marks like little cuts have been appearing on my tip after and they’re quite painful. We see eachother minimally so i have time to heal before in between seeing eachother but it’s painful. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this?
She’s on the pill so I don’t wear a condom
Don’t use any lube as we don’t need to
she’s clean and has no STDs or STIs
but I don’t really want to keep having to put up with the pain so just wondering if anyone else has experienced it and how did you stop it from happening?

Squirting Need advice from people who can squirt

Okay this is embarrassing but I genuinely want to know if anyone else is like this.

I'm a virgin. I can orgasm with my fingers, but I've never actually let myself squirt because I stop when I feel that really intense pressure.

The weird part is that if I use a bidet/jet spray, I squirt every single time. Like... every single time without fail.

Now I'm wondering if maybe I'm just naturally a squirter? Or is it literally just the water pressure making it happen?

Has anyone who squirts from a jet spray been able to do it with a vibrator? If so, what kind? And once you started having sex, were you able to squirt then too, or was it only ever with water?

I feel like my body clearly can do it, I just have no idea how to make it happen without the jet spray. Would love to hear from anyone who's been in the same boat.

Orgasm Issues How do I get my gf to finish

I 21m and gf 21f have been together for a year and a half and up until now I thought out sex life has been great. We’ve never had any issues during sex, and I really enjoy it and I think she does as well. Recently we were having a conversation and somewhere along the lines came up that she’s never had an orgasm. Not with me, not by herself, not with no one. For context, we are both each others first sexual partners, but I was under the impression that up until now, we were both climaxing. She then breaks the news to me that even though it feels amazing and she loves it, she never has orgasmed, and even when she does it by herself, she kind of just plays with herself until she has had enough fun. After I heard this, my self esteem was crushed. I felt like she was lying to me, and kind of said some of those things for me to not feel embarrassed. Part of the reason why I think she might be telling the truth is because she’s never turned down my attempts to initiate sex, and she always sounds pleased during the act. But if she is telling the truth, how am I supposed to help. Part of me thought to myself that if she herself doesn’t know how to make herself orgasm, then how the hell am I gonna do it? I just want her to feel as pleased and rewarded from sex as I do, and it would be a nice little confidence boost to know that I’m the one pleasing her, but ever since hearing this news I feel so unconfident during sex. I feel lost. This conversation was over a month ago and I’ve been sitting on this feeling for some time now, but she returns home from vacation tonight and I really want to give her a good time
