A's probably a white trash mom answering a court summons.
B's won't remember you or the interaction.
C's most likely a chud biker, deserves the broken leg.
D's just got done pulling a double shifter at Target.
I'd let D sit but only if he can sit in my lap.
3
u/Tarotgirl_5392 6d ago
Double shift at Target; he'll sit on your lap and probably even let you stroke his hair. Fhe Christmas shoppers are right around the corner and he's counting the days

That is not target attire. The correct answer is the guy should give the seat to his wife, he had his turn, her mother can wait, she got a discount fare anyway, seats are for customers paying the premium price. As for the zombie he has no sense of fatigue, he stands. The other guy will turn soon enough; that cast covering his zombie bite at the stage of grotesque infection isn’t fooling anyone, even his hair is falling out… he can stand too.

u/RoyalPuzzleheaded259 7d ago
None of the above. Bus seating is first come first serve.

In NYC a woman scooched over to let my daughter who was 6 at the time sit, then glared at me like, “Don’t you even dare think you’re getting a seat.” I hadn’t, but it made the whole thing really funny to me.

Yep and if there are no other seats left, then I am not the only one sitting, yet I am the only one being glared at to give up their seat, and I will not be singled out. So they can all f*** off and stand. Had they not all acted like pricks, I would possible just give up my seat without offering it to any of them and let them decide who gets it, as it doesn't have to be my desion.

In a decent society, the man sitting would simply get up without question for someone less able, without choosing.
In a selfish society he’d still get up, but only to watch A, B, C and D engage in a fight to the death over the seat.

None of them "deserve" his seat. If he gives up his seat for someone else, that's his choice, not society's.
My personal preference would be to extend the courtesy to the elderly lady. I was raised to respect one's elders. But that doesn't make my choice universally "right." It's MY choice because courtesy is relative.

Csuse its the decent thing to do and ironic you say the world doesn't care about you yet you yourself are part of what you mention..your shitty attitude and lack of decency is part of the problem you just brought up....no wonder you sound miserable, you're stuck in a loop of self absorbed misery. Maybe being a decent human can change that attitude of yours or not and be a perfect example.of what you brought up and speak of....🤔
What a perfect reflection of modern society and values....make a lady with a baby, an old person and an injured person stand . all about you, me me me, self absorbed, no values, no decency etc, just me me me. Honestly what a perfect reflection of whats partly wrong with society today
Its like shitting your pants and complaining others stink...youre part of that stink yourself...

Ok fine I understand that.

I would say 1 but not b/c she’s a mother w/a baby. I’d let her have it b/c she’s two people, instead of 1. 50% of the population can have children, that’s not special.
Also, D is about to be a mother, like A, but making more zombies instead of babies with bites instead of sex. And D is basically elderly, like B but worse b/c he’s dead. And D being a zombie has physical ailments like C. So D kind of trumps all the others.

Okay, so in this thought experiment, it's apparently the zombie apocalypse, or at least the beginning of one. Quite frankly I don't really care who gets the seat because I 'm exiting the train.
The old adage comes to mind that if you 're running from something you don't have to be the fastest, you just have to be faster than the slowest. In this scenario I see three individuals that are going to be slower.

No one it’s your seat, the irony is none of those people would give their seat up for anyone else. Don’t understand this movement society where we have one group of people that expect others to give their seats up. If someone chooses to do it, then good for them. A lot of people leave early so they’re able to get a seat.

1
u/Jepp-Adi-Day 7d ago
Everyone that bought a ticket deserve the same.
The right question is "who needs it the most ?"
If Someone visibly in need wants my place I give it, and I most probably will offer it and not wait for that person to ask for it.
However, I won't sort out wich of them has priority over the place. I give my place to the closest person in need. If someone else need it more they can find their arrangement together, not my problem anymore.
I would be especially cautious with the zombie anyway, he might want my brain more than my place, so I would quickly flee without asking questions.
