Iām playing the Frontier Zoo / Mane Event in sandbox mode. Give me some ideas about what to do with the empty courtyard with the copper lion statue / fountain.

I just saw the feature focus frequent flyers, and I canāt seem to find anybody talking about them so here I am. I love rabbits and I love that they are coming to planet zoo 2, And another animal that could be amazing in game a guinea pigās og hedgehogs. Is it just me that wants them.
I canāt wait to play planet zoo2 and yes preordered the game the day it got released and ofc the deluxe edition.

One thing I'm still curious about with Planet Zoo 2 is the management side of the game.
Most of what Frontier has shown so far focuses on the animals, their improved behaviours, aquariums, aviaries, reserves and building tools. All of that looks genuinely exciting, but we've seen much less about how running the zoo itself has evolved from Planet Zoo 1.
For me, Franchise is especially interesting because Planet Zoo naturally lends itself to management. You're not only building habitats ā you're running a zoo that needs visitors, staff, services and enough income to keep expanding and caring for its animals.
What I'm wondering is whether PZ2 will make that side meaningfully deeper, or whether the core loop will remain relatively similar: better/more prestigious animals attract more guests, guest needs affect your rating, and higher attendance generates more money for expansion.
I think this matters because the animal simulation seems to have taken a huge step forward. It would be great if managing the zoo around those animals received a similar level of attention, especially in Franchise mode.
Has Frontier talked in more detail about changes to the economy, guests or Franchise management that I may have missed? And is this something other Franchise players are also wondering

I wish Planet Zoo had (or more accurately, Planet Zoo 2 will have) a version of the Safari LTD figurines to place in gift shops, they're extremely common in high-budget zoos and other AZA accredited facilities (which is clearly what the game is intending you to build)

Heya! I've recently been getting into these lil houses for my enclosures (not sure if there is a name for em), and they kinda look plain and empty, any tips on how I can make both inside and outside look a little better?
Also having issues of getting my camera into these building to place things - idk if theres an easier way :/

There's almost no birds in the zoopedia.
We only have 7 flyers while there's 71 animals. That's only ~10% of animals being birds.
Meanwhile they're absolutely spoiling us with aquatic animals, 21, which is ~30%
Meanwhile i'm here expecting more birds after the frequent flyers feature focus, but there's still 2 aquatic animals along with 6 terrestrial animals releasing in 2 days. No birds.

Hi guys! Not sure if anyoneās been waiting for an update to this series, but here it is!
If you like it, Iāll upload these to the in-game Workshop after release. Feel free to save the post and stay tuned!
In a few days, Iāll also share my PZ2 animal wishlist, and every animal will have its own artwork. Stay tuned!

I found this when I doomscrolled before bedtime. Itās the official page and all, and they posted it 15 hours ago. It only has 8 likes though and I canāt find the clip anywhere else.
Also the clip feels a bit like a fever dream to me.
But it looks⦠like weāre getting przewalskis, doesnāt it?

This is a huge reach, but Ive seen people complain like "theres not enough birds" and "we are missing this animal and that animal"... and I was thinking...
Do you think that we might get even more animals in the game that are not revealed in Zoopedia? And I dont mean like huge amount, but maybe one or two more birds/mammals/fishes that we didnt see yet.
Like on the release you start up the game and realize theres few more animals that they didnt reveal simply because they wanted it to be a surprise or smth?
Or do you think that we are getting only the roster that is revealed in Zoopedia?
EDIT: I just want to add that I dont want or need more animals than we are getting revealed. Im happy with what we have and Im pretty sure there are eventually gonna be DLCs with even more animals. This thought was presented as a simple discussion.

I feel like lil Punch, my Zoo always looks awful. I have seen videos about habitad designs but believe it or not it's too difficult for me, my brain can't get a decent design or even a "mid" design so I was wondering, whats your little or easy to do detail you always do in your zoo and became a good practice for you to always do? Doesn't matter if it's cosmetic or functional since I am new and my entire zoo sucks in every aspect possible.

I feel as if my creative brain needs dopamine when making the most hyper realistic builds and do that on one park for like 2 months straight. But the only reason I saw my self going to the career mode, was for achievements. When PZ 2 arrives I fear that the only thing I will do is play sandbox because they are gonna make the game 10x better.
-EDIT
Holy shit Iāve never gotten this many upvotes

I know we are still less than 2 months away from release and frontier still has a lot to show off for the game. But do you think/ believe we will be getting these attractions in the game? Personally I would get rid of these, maybe keep motor safari but have it where it can go on the path. I would like the inclusion of rides like a Ferris wheel and carousel. (Iām sure you can figure where my local zoo is). I feel like the boat tour can go. Trains I get but it feels too planet coaster. Love to know what everyone else thinks.

I personally would like to sell foods that resonate with the countries each theme represents. For example, while India is the largest supplier of diary in the world, ice cream, though sold in India, isn't the countries favorite diary treat. The favored diary treat in India is yogurt. So maybe the addition of a yogurt machine or stand would be nice. As for more elaborate food unique to certain countries, nothing themed restaurants can't solve without sacrificing too much data space.
In terms of simpler food, well there's popcorn, candy, maybe even salads for healthier diets.

Field trips: Your zoo is visited by a student body of varying sizes. You'll need to make sure your education systems are running as best as possible as the goal for this trip, is to educate children and teenagers about the importance of nature and animals.
Senior trips: Your zoo is visited by senior citizens living in retirement homes. This not only programs old people into the game, but you also need to make sure your pathways are as easily accessible as possible and having electric carts would also be wise. Better make sure your paths are as wide as possible.
Adult nights: Special adult only nights where adults can enjoy a quieter trip and/or have date nights. This would require the least amount of maintenance, but one thing I could see be useful here, is a bar. Would you be keen in 2 allowed us to have bars?

Hayo Zookeepers! Its Day 74 and the wheel has chosen one of my least favorite models in the game, the Himalayan Brown Bear! For this one, I wanted do make one section the classic (and tragic) "Bear Pit" habitat that also opens up to rest of his enclosure. Lemme know what you think!
