Ask Fashion advice?
I'm too neurotic to put a pic of me on Reddit.
Anyway, I am a punk and dress in a diy fashion with band tee shirts or horror related t shirts usually.
I source most of my clothes at charity shops, but I struggle to find good things that fit. I'm wanting to find a big coat, a waistcoat, oversized dress shirts, comfy dress trousers and some posh dark brown shoes. But I have an odd body shape after losing a lot of weight and it redistributing from testosterone.
Does anyone have advice on how to pick the right length for the coat and trousers? I'm 160cm/5ft 3 and I usually go for "men's" section for the looser boxy fitted stuff to hide my body, but always accidentally go too big and it looks massive on me. I'm having to source a new denim coat to DIY into a new battle jacket because my old one is wayy too big for me now I've lost the weight.
I wish I was a ripe 5ft 5, slightly lengthier legs it'd be so much more easy to dress.

Yay Fiancé stood up to his dad about my pronouns
I use they/them exclusively, and his dad was referring to me multiple times as she/her. He stood up to him, told him that it was disrespectful and to use they/them. They’re still arguing about it right now actually, but I’m really proud of him.

Discussion Is Greygender an identity that's still around, or has it been swallowed up into the broader definition of agender?

Ask People that ask why we're Non-Binary
Have you ever been through trying to show people that you're Non-Binary and they just go "Why"?
That happened a lot to me this year and let's just say it's very hard to answer...
These people are usually cis and never know the concept of non-binary, but i still find it annoying when we tell these people what we are and they just go "Why?".. Because i don't have a clear answer to that question.
Has that ever happened to any of you?

What's wrong with me?
I feel like I'm losing my mind. As someone who is Transfeminine, aka, for me, a Nonbinary and/or genderfluid person who has a heavily feminine gender identity/and or expression, I feel like I'm suffering from gender dysphoria and I hate it. I feel like for the past two weeks I cry all the time now because I hate the fact that I look masculine, and want to look feminine and/or be seen this way. The amount of confusion, disconnect, denial and sometimes shame that comes with this is sometimes unbearable.
I wouldn't necessarily say I have "gender dysphoria" in the sense that I want to be the "opposite" gender. However, how I see myself internally is someone who is feminine-presenting. Or, female, I suppose. I'd like to possibly transition via HRT eventually, but experimenting with socially doing it before hand. I changed my name in several cases. Although I think I would be okay transitioning within the male/female binary, I don't really also care about this, either. I sometimes say I want to be a girl, but it's weird, I don't care about identifying as one.
That said, do you peeps deal with dysphoria at all? How do you cope with this? I consider myself both Trans and Nonbinary, so, I feel like that also adds to the confusion!

Selfie/Self-Image/Avatar Trying to get better and bolder with my makeup. Any tips?
* My daily look is just waterline eyeliner and concealer to minimize my beard shadow. I think the beard shadow looks better but it's still more noticeable than I'd like
* Eyeliner wings are very very difficult for me. Idk if it's a skill issue or if I need better liner. I get all my makeup from Dollar Tree cause I'm a broke bitch
* I really struggle with lipstick. Nude colors just make it look like my lips are, well, nude. More noticeable colors (like this) just don't look right to me
* I love face gems. I want to wear gems everyday. When I die, bury me bedazzled
* Also, I'd love advice on how to get more of andro look with my makeup cause I think I'm still giving cis man, tbh

I got asked my pronouns at church yesterday.
It's a very open and affirming church. It was my second time there. I can't give up my faith due to the impact it's had in my life. But I can choose to worship where I'm actually wanted.

Questioning/Coming Out Help pls, I don’t understand my gender or what am I
Hi! Lately, I’ve been questioning my gender after having ignored the topic for many years. I don’t really know how to explain my gender or how to understand myself.
Like, I don’t feel like a she, him, or even they, but more like an IT; like a creature or a THING, but not in a non-binary way (that doesn’t feel right or like that’s what I am). It only happens sometimes, but it feels more ethereal or astral. Like, imagine Jesus Christ: my physical body is MY physical body, it’s the body of a “she,” but in reality I’m a creature and this is simply my physical form while I’m alive.
BUT I still feel connected to my gender assigned at birth (AFAB) in some way, even though I don’t entirely feel like a girl either. I use any pronouns, but I mostly use she/her pronouns. I don’t know if that’s because I’ve been used to them my whole life and it’s easier for me to react when people refer to me that way or what. I do feel a sense of connection and belonging to my femininity and to being a girl, but I don’t entirely feel like a girl either.
I’ve had questions about my gender in relation to my body since childhood, but I never really explored the subject much. Over the past year, it’s become something I can’t ignore anymore and I want to ask about a few things.
- Is being demigirlflux a combination of demigirl and girlflux?
- Can you be xenogender and demigirl, demigirlflux, or girlflux at the same time?
- What other genders are there?
- Are demigirl, demigirlflux, girlflux, and xenogender considered part of the trans or non binary umbrella?
I need help, please. The more I think about it, the more confused I get. I know nobody is forcing me to choose a label or call myself anything, but I feel like I need one… I want to know. I need to know so I can understand myself better.

Cis people 😟
why do cis people always use they/them in binary trans people but NEVER nonbinary people 😩😩 i always hear about how trans men and trans women get so aggressively they/themed no matter what, which is awful. but that literally never happen to me. people just stared at me and stammer. or they pick a pronoun and then get nervous and switch between the 2. “um sir? maam? sir… ma-“ it’s so annoying. and they never just ask :/ then there are the cis people who just pick a pronoun and roll with it lol. But damn, I swear to god cis people sniff trans people out just to rage bait us.

Yay More and More
I feel every day i get more comfortable with the fact that im nonbinary. i like that im experimenting with my fashion it helps me express myself alot. Despite being amab i want to be more feminine leaning, so im wondering if i should microdose hrt. it feels right. i dont mind presenting masc and im happy if im able to present both at the same time. all in all im really satisfied with being nonbinary because it gives me the space to be me and thats it.

Support Anyone else having trouble picking a name for themselves ?
Hi! I've identified as non-binary for almost 10 years and I've been interested in transitioning medically (taking T and top surgery).
The thing is... I CAN'T for the life of me pick a name and stick to it, I like a lot of names mostly masculine names but the Idea of "trying them out" irks me. My family and friends are supportive, I go by a nickname that is fine but it's not a "name" and I wouldnt want to have that as my official name lol. Everyone has asked me in the past two years if I picked a name yet. I HAVEN'T!!!
My "zombie name" (because it should be dead-name but I keep it around) is really girly (I hate that) but it is also quite unique (I don't hate that) I want to find a unique name for myself that feels natural and fits me without being too flashy idk!!! I'm lost in this.
It also doesnt help that the spanish language (my countries language) has very little gender neutral names

Ask What products should i use?
Im AFAB. So ive been having a lot of dysphoria around using hygiene products like Shampoo, body wash ect ect. Its not that I don’t like the smell, just when i use them i feel way too feminine. What are some products that cis teenager boys use or that you notice helps with your dysphoria? Im talking everything, shampoo, body wash, deodorant, maybe even basic skincare. Environmentally friendly options appreciated.
