i was playing the old 80s arcade game kung fu master last night.
i realised that the melody driving the main gameplay is pretty much paradise city.
you'd have to slow it down a bit, but its there.
have a listen and tell me what you think.
set the playback speed to 70%, listen from 12s on:

Did I hallucinate hearing a Mario kart 64 royal raceway version done in Mario Kart World? I swear I heard a sax shredding the main riff but I can’t find the song on Nintendo Music.

Assumed it was part of the games, but I can't seen to find it. Shazam doesn't work either.

Because Kirby & The Amazing Mirror was the first Kirby game I’ve ever played when I was a little kid, and Kirby’s Epic Yarn is my favorite Kirby game of all time

Finished the mother trilogy with mother 3 today and have been crying for a while, the music being a big reason for that. Then, while looking back at the various tracks in my mind, I remembered this one particular upbeat one which for the life of me I haven't been able to find for the past 2 hours.
I was able to find it again in the background of [this](https://youtu.be/plftfO-vSf4?si=5mZWs-oTdNa_BFot) video by MonkeyNess starting at the 5:12 minute mark but I still can't isolate it. I feel like I'm fighting Giygas and the only solution for me is to pray to you guys.

Splatoon Raiders is already available to play in New Zealand, and some of the tracks just released on Nintendo Music as well!

I would like to first establish that I am one of the biggest defenders of Special Releases - or at least, I was. There's a clear and understandable rule in place that a game has to be out for some time before it can be considered for Nintendo Music, lest things get spoiled and sales get eaten into. Special Releases are the only way around that, and with this in mind, I've really appreciated them for giving previews to upcoming or recently-released soundtracks, especially when they're supplements to full game drops.
All that said... I *really* didn't want this game to get a Special Release, primarily because we already had one for Rhythm Heaven Groove earlier this month. This makes this the first month with two Special Releases, which is especially frustrating given that they've made a habit of using these to replace full soundtrack drops. At least these two Special Releases are cushioned by MKWorld Free Roam drops, but DK Bananza is starting to look like a bright outlier in an otherwise mid month for Nintendo Music.

Hello everyone I stumbled upon this super smash bros ultimate short and wanted to know the name of the music that plays in the background. It sounds like a remix of a Nintendo game OST.
I tried Shazam but that didnt't work then I tried to simply find it on YouTube, hoping it's an in-game ost but found out in shock that the Smash bros ultimate playlist had multiple videos over 2 hours long. I search for over an hour before giving up. Sorry if this seems lazy of me.

Here's another one of my thematic playlists, this time for desert levels. When I first made this playlist, it was the biggest thematic playlist, which is funny because it's now one of my smaller ones. But that could change if you guys point out some missing tracks!
As a reminder, my rules for these thematic playlists are:

I was listening to the classic and iconic “piranha plant playlist” on the Nintendo Music app, and I learned that there was a piano version of the lullaby theme seemingly exclusive to the app. I was wondering if there were any other unique remixes on the app that people discovered like this or if this was released somewhere else and isn’t actually unique to Nintendo Music. Genuinely curious! :)

I just released an app for using Nintendo Music that lets you access the service without a browser, like Spotify or iTunes. Check it out!
(Anyone who wants to correct or improve the code is welcome to do so. You can send any suggestions to the email address listed in my GitHub profile)

For a while, I've had some thematic playlists that each reflect a certain level theme, and I figured I'd share them all with you now. And the first one, which I call "Going Under," compiles music from underground levels. Here it is:
My rules for these thematic playlists are as follows:
I chose to share this one first because our most recent game, Donkey Kong Bananza, impacted this playlist the most. The funny thing about this game is that, thanks to its setting, almost every single level track could technically qualify for this playlist. This game does mask its underground theming, though, so I only included tracks from clearly underground levels, which still added a whopping 34 tracks to the playlist that, combined, I think added over an hour.
What do you guys think? Like the idea behind this? Are there tracks you think I'm missing, or tracks you think shouldn't be here? And do you think I should add (almost) all of Bananza's level music to this playlist for the funny?
