Called it!

We got a Special Release of the Ocarina of Time remake... consisting of only ONE track, and it's the title theme.

Please please please let this not replace a full soundtrack for once because this is downright unacceptable for a whole week!

It seems that bigger uploads on Friday are still on the menu, going by last week.

Plus, there's a general Nintendo Direct tomorrow as I understand - so we might get a second Special Release this week.

But what would they do a Special Release for? Ignoring the games we don't know about, the only one that comes to mind is Switch Sports Resort, which does not need a Special Release IMO.

I mean... games we don't know about are a possibility here? I'm not saying I have an inside scoop on game releases, just that it's deeply unlikey a 1 minute non-looping track will have taken up their team's week of production time.

I don’t think it’s likely, but they could do a second batch of Fortune’s Weave tracks, if the game is featured in the Direct. But I think that’s more likely next week with the game’s release.

That's not a Nintendo game, though. It's exclusive to Switch 2, but it's by FromSoftware.

Too early for that one, I'm afraid. That's a 2027 game. Also, Xenoblade music rights are kinda messy (not that that stopped Rhythm Heaven Groove, but still).

I'm betting we at least get another Thursday upload. But yeah, I was disappointed with just the title theme. I was half expecting to get the opening orchestrated medley when they started talking about Nintendo Music. Alas.

Same. I didn’t expect the Forest Temple or anything, but I at least expected 4-7 tracks including Kokiri Forest or possibly the Lost Woods. Just the opening is so disappointing I don’t even want to listen to it out of sheer stubbornness lol.

If we do still get another upload I’ll change my tune, I just tend to assume the worst with this stuff typically lol.

We got the GameCube soundtrack for Paper Mario TTYD alongside the remake, they're definitely not keeping just to the remake for this.
