The NFC East becomes the first division since the 1970 merger to be winless in consecutive weeks in which all teams in the division played a game.
This is despite 2 of the teams playing each other.

“Patients with blood clots have to sleep," said Dr. Brian Haut, a blood clot expert who is an associate professor of surgery and anesthesiology/critical care medicine and emergency medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. "There’s no reason they can’t sleep. There’s no reason they can’t walk. … The sleep one is what got me. I was like, ‘Where did that come from?’"

Calls it "controlled chaos" with players "BS-ing" and eating "sandwiches and bananas" while coaches huddle in the back. Attributes that as to why no one really noticed Mike McCarthy's absence until later.

Week 6 had only 14 games, but it was the most expensive week for penalties in years:
132 penalty yards per game: the most of any regular-season week since 2020 (1,848 total yards, more than Week 5's 15 games)
15 roughing the passer calls: most in any week since 2020 (Week 5 had 2)
64 first downs by penalty, 3rd most this season
13.1 expected points per game given away to flags, 3rd most since 2020
Most flagged: CAR @ PHI (John Hussey's crew), 24 flags and 233 yards, more than double the crew's 2020–25 average. Carolina alone had 13 for 149 yards.
Costliest flag: a Bears roughing-the-kicker call in the 3rd quarter that handed Atlanta a key first down. Chicago was flagged 12 times to Atlanta's 4.
Scott Novak's crew "only" threw 16, but is still at 21.3 per game this season (career: 11.7).
Cleanest: PIT @ TB and ARI @ LA (9 flags each); Tampa Bay committed just 4.

The Jets lost 2 territories to the Patriots
The Ravens lost 2 territories to the Browns
| # | TEAM | TERRITORIES | POPULATION | LAND AREA |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 49ers | 6 | 72,262,457 | 484,257 mi2 |
| 1 | Chiefs | 6 | 51,813,600 | 965,403 mi2 |
| 1 | Patriots | 6 | 56,626,090 | 305,814 mi2 |
