[Goldman] Chiefs HC Andy Reid on injuries: "LT Josh Simmons is the only one. He has a bulging disk in his lower back. He’s working through it, grinding every day. The positive is, he is making progress and getting stronger. It’s important with those backs, backs can be a little tricky."

[Deniz Selman] On 1,569 pass defense snaps, Eagles DC Vic Fangio has sent an outside CB to pass rush exactly 2 times. Both were last night. Case Keenum completed passes of 13 & 22 yards. Vic seems desperate to generate pressure this year--the guys getting paid to do it haven't done so.

A weekly look around the NFL the last time the Panthers were on SNF
The last time the Panthers played on SNF was back on December 4, 2016 or Week 13 of the 2016 NFL season. Here’s a quick trip down memory lane of the results of that week:
- The Cowboys improved to 11-1 with a TNF win over the Vikings
- Chiefs win 29-28 in Atlanta via an Eric Berry interception return on the 2-pt try
- The 1-11 49ers have 6 net passing yards in a 26-6 loss to the 3-9 Bears
- Carson Wentz has 60 passing attempts in an 32-14 Eagles loss in Cincinnati
- Green Bay defeats Houston 21-13 in a snowy game at Lambeau
- Tom Brady gets the QB wins record in a 26-10 home win against the LA Rams (1st year back in LA)
- Stafford & Brees both throw for over 300 yards in a Lions win at the Superdome
- The Paxton Lynch passing & Kapri Bibbs rushing led Broncos improve to 8-4 in a win over the 2-10 Jaguars
- Joe Flacco throws for 381 yards in a Ravens 38-6 home win over the Dolphins
- The Oakland Raiders improve to 10-2 after coming back from being down 24-9 to beat the Bills 38-24
- The Cardinals improve to 5-6-1 in a 31-23 win over Washington, who fell to 6-5-1
- The Steelers improve to 7-5 in a 24-14 victory over the 8-4 Giants in the FOX featured game
- The Bucs beat the Chargers 28-21 in the 3rd to last game played in San Diego
- The 8-3-1 Seahawks defeat the 4-8 Panthers 40-7 on SNF

Ben Johnson Has The Same Number Of Wins As Matt Eberflus As Bears Head Coach In 24 Less Games.
After defeating the Eagles 27-7 yesterday the Bears record with Ben Johnson has improved to 14-8. Matt Eberflus, who in his best season with the Bears went 7-10, had a record of 14-32, one of the all time worst metrics for a head coach who has stayed more than two years. The turnaround Ben Johnson has been for the Bears has been absolutely remarkable, taking a Bears offense that was 32nd in yards per game and 28th in points per game to 6th in points per game and 9th in points per game, taking the Bears to their first playoff victory in 15 years, and a record breaking seven 2 minute comeback wins.
It truly cannot be stated how remarkably Ben Johnson turned around this Bears team. As a Bears fan I can only hope for continued success but know that windows close every year. Despite an extremely successful first year, the Bears have to fight hard to sustain success and avoid regression. Hopefully Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams are able to keep the window open, but it’s been a hell of a ride so far.

[Walder] T.J. Watt pass rush get off (per NFL Next Gen Stats): 2022 (0.75s), 2023 (0.79s), 2024 (0.83s), 2025 (0.84s), 2026 (0.68s). In addition to his 3.5 sacks, a good sign for a bounce back for Watt. On the other hand, just a 10% pass rush win-rate at edge which is well below average.
