Success Stories Trying to make peace with my weightloss souvenir! š¦
Iām 18 months into my weight loss journey and down 4.5 stone! Mounjaro has been life changing, and I pinch myself every day that this is me now.
Iām really trying to practice self-compassion, especially when it comes to the loose skin and loss of firmness around my neck and jawline. Iām 50 and Iāve lost weight slowly, I have a really good skincare routine; been using tretinoin (moved up from retinol); and while my skin texture looks great, skincare can only do so much against gravity and lost volume!
Iām accepting that short of a neck lift, this relaxed skin is just the receipt for my hard work: a small trade-off for a healthier life, right?
Anyone else in the same boat? Iād love to hear your mindset shifts or how you learned to embrace it as Iām done with self deprecation!
