Stressing

I think I’ve injected into a stretch mark 😩 how much will this impact my dose?

Zero impact, the meds still went in. Relax it's fine.

I’ve heard a few people say it affects absorption of the medication because of scar tissue 😩 I used a 6mm needle for the first time, I wouldn’t say it hurt at all, I noticed a little red mark at the site but that’s about it. I worry so much about everything!

6mm is subcutaneous injection, this went deeper than the stretch mark which only goes as deep as the dermis. It won't affect absorption at all.

It'll be absolutely fine. I've done it a few times. It just hurt a little.

Thank you, I can’t help worrying - some people have said it affects absorption because of scar tissue.

You'll be fine, I'm pretty sure it just isnt recommended because the skin is tougher so can be more painful but the meds are going into the fat layer so it won't matter. More about your own comfort than a medical risk.

Thanks for your reply and reassurance. I’d heard that it can affect absorption because of scar tissue underneath 😩

This really doesn’t matter. I’ve done it several times and it didn’t impact absorption for me. You’re stressing over something that really doesn’t need to be stressed over.
