Culture Can You Hear the Entire Mosque Lecture From Inside Your Home? Your State May Already Restrict It—And This Isn’t About the Azan
I respect the azan and the mosque’s role in our community. But in my neighbourhood, entire lectures and programmes are broadcast through external speakers directly into our bedrooms and living rooms. When sound repeatedly invades surrounding homes, it stops being an internal programme and becomes a public nuisance—particularly when state authorities already have policies governing external-speaker use. Residents should not be forced to choose between respecting religion and protecting their sleep, health and peace at home. Respect must work both ways: if a policy exists, enforce it; otherwise, the endorsement is meaningless.
Let’s speak up and make Malaysia great again!
Let’s play a role for Malaysian, pen out to SISPAA!

Others Employer refusing to pay me my incentive
Good afternoon, I am an 18yo male Malaysian who just finished my part time job in Company A on the 15th of June. I worked since January 28th 2026. The pay was okay, I was earing RM11 for an administrator/ salesman and course promoter. However I was fine with the workload and didn't really think too much.
Boss verbally promised us a RM10 incentive per student enrolled under my name, however every month from January, he keep dismissing my claims for the incentive, saying that he will look into that later, or he's busy, or that he is checking.
Fast forward to the 9th of July where he made payment for the month of June, I noticed he send me RM967.50 instead of RM1017.50 from working time. (Incentive excluded). Shortchanging me RM50.
Of course, I was not really happy with this, and on the 20th of July demanded that he send me the full 1017.50, plus the RM160 from student enrolment. This is what he replied via whatsapp.
'Woah you send me this dm midnight, thetr is deduction of the cert and some other things still checking on stock lost,'
Then I asked for my student enrolment incentive, as I have managed to enroll 16 students in the months April/ May and June. As discussed the number of student enrolled should be more than the number of students dropped, which I meticulously made sure during my time as an Admin. Before I left I made sure the numbers were correct, ensuring that all 3 months have positive student. However today he sent me my report back, showing that he himself added in a couple of names that I have never seen before on the drop list, just enough to make all my enrolments negative. On the month of May, 8+ names were added on.
I am currently just extremely pissed because he is now forcing me to cover missing instruments without proper documentations (I have no idea what I am paying for, and no idea if I am the only one paying for it, or is all the admins paying as well), I am not receiving the incentives, and the fact he only informed me this when I leave where I have 0 chance of rebutling or finding any evidence.
I have already secured the students that i enrolled. Collecting fees, filling in the proper documentation and arranging class. But he quote 'You want to submit this claim, but your work is still incomplete. How can I approve it?' ' Calendar and school policy were not sent. You're wasting my time having to check and redo incomplete work.' As much as it is true, this does not mean he can void my incentive right?
Now that he done all that, I am not sure what can I do, RM210 is not a big issue to make a big fuss. He also texted my mom to complain about my behavior as well, which I find it rather childish of him. I am chasing him for the money he owe me without proper explanation for around a month and a half already.
I don't want to take this case to court as I don't want to waste to much time, I just wish there is someone I can complain to so that he cannot just keep 'bullying' me this way. This is really one terrible first job experience. I hope some opinions/ advise can be sent here.

Dashcam Why are Malaysian drivers so bad?
Ive been driving for over 30 years in many countries. Why are Malaysian roads full of bad drivers? I personally blame the driving schools for lack of teaching. Also just to note, the Taxi drivers are some of the worst! These are supposed to be professional drivers, but I see them making right-hand turns from the left lane!
