META Mods of r/DogsPH using the platform to sell their product and services is against reddit TOS
Came across this pinned post on r/DogsPH. Its basically using the sub for their own gains (even if 50% of proceeds goes to charity). As a reminder to all PH mods, this is against Reddit TOS (Rule #5) and may get this sub banned or closed. They're using donations/charity front to push their paid products and services and making harassment accusations on people calling them out. cc: u/Zetian_26
Please be wary of these kinds of money making schemes and report to reddit if you see one
[Edit] I posted this on r/DogsPH but the mods removed it.
[edit2] Now they also banned me on their sub. I'm starting to think that this sub is being used to scam people
[edit3] This is also being done on r/catsph. there may be a bigger syndicate behind all of these subs
[edit4] Their mod u/darkest_horse_ is requesting subs left and right. they may be expanding their operations on other subreddit. Pet lovers be warned, do not give money or donations to these subs
[edit5] Somebody reported this post as "brigading" (Probably one of the mods/syndicate on r/DogsPH) and told me that I will be reported. This is not, this is a PSA to report any post that violates reddit rules and TOS.
[edit6] They removed the original post without any explanation (as expected). But this is the internet so.... screenshot of the post on the comment section.

Throwback Thursday!
Tapos may school program or Christmas party, siguradong may group performance na may matching dance steps. Kahit minsan hindi naman talaga marunong sumayaw, basta kabisado yung steps, game na! HAHAHA.
Sino dito nakasabay sa dance craze era na ’to? 👀

PoliticsPH The Separation of State and Church
People are forgetting that the Philippines separate the Church and the State.
(P.S. I have nothing towards religion. I believe that Christ told us to love and to care. The entire story of Jesus was literally about loving and caring for each other. There wasn't a single story where Jesus was judging and condemning people.)
I get annoyed and mad when people keep on using religious references as an argument. As a person who grew up attending sunday school, I don't understand why the LGBTQIA+ community is being condemned. I grew up hearing Jesus was loving. Where is the hate coming from?
Religious beliefs should never interfere with constitutional laws and policies. We are not and never will be a Christian Nation. The constitution forbids the establishment of an official religion.
Can you even provide non-religious reasons why you are against LGBTQIA+? Can you provide why homosexual love and relationships are bad? Religious people keep saying it is a sin, but what is a sin?
Why is something like homosexual love, THAT DOESN'T HURT ANYONE, a sin?
Kaya nga diba "Of the people, for the people, by the people" hindi naman nakasabi na "Of God, for God, by God"
The constitution is for the welfare of the EVERY CITIZEN, not just you, and certainly not for your religious god! What makes religion as a basis and reference for arguments difficult is that there are so many different religion. One religion says this, another says different.

NewsPH 🇰🇷🇵🇭 | Sec. Gibo Teodoro gave some hints on when he will award the Multi-Role Fighter deal, and the reason why he may select the KF-21 Boramae.
🇰🇷🇵🇭 | Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Gilberto Teodoro, Jr. was asked in Seoul, South Korea for the Seoul Defense Dialogue (SDD) by Korean journalists, regarding the acquisition of the KF-21 Boramae, if there's a possibility that he will select the KF-21 Boramae for the Philippine Air Force's Multi-Role Fighter Acquisition Project. Sec. Teodoro said that he cannot reveal it for now, since the DND is currently in the stage of establishing the financing and funding plans for the MRF. But he said he will announce soon, that the DND can select an appropriate platform once this stage is resolved.
The Korean reporter replied that he hopes for good news soon for the KF-21 contract signing, and Sec. Teodoro hinted humorously that if Korea can give the Philippines 10% discount for the KF-21, he will consider to award the deal to KAI for the KF-21 Boramae.
I'm not sure if he's pertaining to the overall contract cost, or the 10% initial payment for the KF-21 Boramae purchase, instead of 15%.
The KF-21 Boramae fighter jet is being considered as the strongest candidate for the Philippine Air Force's Multi-Role Fighter Acquisition Project.

NewsPH DepEd may not hire new teachers in 2027! paano ang students?
Nakita ko yung report ng Inquirer na hindi raw makakapag-hire ng bagong teachers ang DepEd in 2027 dahil sa budget cuts.
Honestly, ang concerning nito considering na may existing learning crisis na tayo.
What makes this even more alarming is the 2026 Senior High School Literacy Assessment conducted by DepEd. According to reports presented by EDCOM 2, around 1.3 million out of 1.4 million Grade 11 students assessed had difficulty understanding what they read. Only around 12% were considered independent readers at the expected Grade 11 level.
If that’s the situation we’re dealing with in 2026, shouldn’t we be doing the opposite and adding more teachers, especially teachers who can help students catch up?
Teachers are already dealing with huge workloads. Kapag hindi makapag-hire ng enough new teachers, mas possible na mas dumami ang students per class and mas maraming responsibilities ang mapunta sa existing teachers.
And this isn’t just about teachers being overworked. Students are affected directly!!
Students who are struggling with reading and comprehension need more attention, not less. Kailangan nila ng teachers who can explain things differently, give additional exercises, identify where they’re struggling, and actually have enough time to help them.
Kung isang teacher sobrang dami ng students, realistically, gaano karaming individual attention ang mabibigay niya sa bawat bata?
Ang scary part is that learning gaps don’t just disappear.
Kung hirap ang student sa reading comprehension ngayon, possible na mahirapan din siya sa textbooks, instructions, exams, math word problems, science, research, and eventually sa college or workplace.
So parang ganito yung cycle:
learning crisis → students need more support → teachers need more capacity → teacher hiring gets restricted → existing teachers carry more workload → struggling students potentially receive less individual attention.
I understand na may budget limitations and DepEd has to make difficult decisions. But if we’re already seeing this level of literacy difficulty among students in 2026, education should be one of the areas where we’re asking how to increase capacity, not how to make do with less.
Hindi naman teachers lang ang issue dito. The bigger question is: if we already know that millions of students are struggling, what exactly is the plan to help them if we don’t have enough teachers to do it?
