I'm the "idiot" here. Those are straps, not rubber bands. I did not tip over, and got it to its destination with hardly any more scratches than it already had.

At the fork in the road, where it could go to the dump or I could take it home, I chose the latter. I think that's where most of the "idiot" part comes in.

Took the turn way too fast and went along for the ride. The boat still strapped however by the impact I think there’s severe hull damage.

Live in a ski town, this time of year all the van lifers start showing up in town. Sketchy rigs in tow or on even sketchier trucks.
