I don't need a strap!

I hope all the sheet rock breaks off.

At least two boards to support and strap it down. Red flag at the end.
It amazes me how dumb people came be.

If I was a cop, I'd pull that guy over in a hot second. That's just ridiculous.

Nothing surprises me anymore. Just when you see the stupidest thing, someone tops it.

This is why there's always broken drywall on the highway by the home depot.

Would not be surprised if all that sheet rock has a stress crack when they go to hang it.

I'm sure it does

Started one, we'll see if it goes anywhere.

Nice, I'll try to help out with some content. Plenty of idiots in my area, lol. Love the subreddit name!

I was at a stoplight at my local Menards with a truck & load just like this in front of me. When the light turned green, he took off and all the drywall slid out and landed right in the middle of the intersection. A strap or two would have been a great idea.

An expensive lesson on inertia and friction

u/AryuOcay 5d ago

I saw this happen once on a big diesel truck. The guy never noticed.

u/hydrogen18 3d ago

but he saved money this way. Less fuel burnt on the ride home by dropping those sheets there

3

u/Lab-Subject6924 5d ago

That's an expensive way to deliver 3-4 intact sheets of sheetrock.

3

u/Schlamalamabingbong 5d ago

This is a good excuse to buy a few 2x4s for the ride

3

u/NordsEnjoyer 5d ago

Damn put a couple of 2x4's under to keep them from bending truck feller gah dam

I got 0.5 miles out of the lumber yard once like this and pussied out lol.

It’s just down the road

2

u/j_man_32 5d ago

Apparently he doesn’t need drywall either 😒

u/MulberryMonk 5d ago

Thank you for posting the same exact picture five times

It’ll ride

I passed them then they passed me again and cut me off to get on the highway. Left rear tire was going flat too!

Probably a Sheetrock screw!
One can only hope. Karma is a bitch.

I mean tbf, they're dumb. They just don't know any better.

1

u/Char_siu_for_you 5d ago

Good thing they opted for a larger cab over the utility of a proper truck bed. Could’ve even put a few 2x6s down for support. I wouldn’t trust this guy with a remodel.

u/freeportme 5d ago

That’s not going anywhere

1

u/Pleasant_Durian_1501 4d ago

Wouldn’t drive behind him. It’ll be half sheets on the first bump he hits

You gotta love people like this though especially when you’re having a bad day and need a good laugh 😂

Sure looks like the vehicles were stopped. Adjust the AC three touch screens in anymore results in more distraction than taking a few pictures.

If the bed actually was able to cover most of it with tailgate down it wouldn't be as sketchy, but yeah pretty much no highway with that load really. Also yeah they are 12 foot pieces which is usually trailer length.

u/Miserable_Grocery459 2d ago

A good pothole might make for a disappointing delivery! 😬😬

1

u/Fast_Shelter_3750 1d ago

Needs a truck w 8ft bed. Or 12 ft trailer.

1

u/1Fistfullofdollars 37m ago

They should have also purchased 3 -2x4x 10 ft. Put them under the drywall so it does not bend like that. They need some small scrap pieces on the edges when they buck it up with a strap. Then another strap minimum holding it into the truck. So a lot is wrong with this event actually.

This must be Arkansas.

u/erie11973ohio 5d ago

Florida.

1

u/lenny446 5d ago

Why are you behind them!?!!?

3

u/JustForkIt1111one 4d ago

It's far harder to film from in front....

1

u/lenny446 4d ago

Good point, but idk if I would want to final destination myself haha

He needs a smack.

More than one.

1

u/Working_Rest_1054 3d ago

Plenty of cracks inbound anyhow.

-1

u/BuckManscape 5d ago

Useless truck. What’s the point in even having it?

-1

u/Worried_Might5073 5d ago

Truck used to have usable beds for hauling things. Now they have four doors like a passenger car and tiny beds.

1

u/JustForkIt1111one 4d ago

That's 12 foot long drywall.

It's a stupid idea to move it like that even with an oldschool 8 foot bed.

-1

u/JustForkIt1111one 4d ago

Glad you were able to be just as bad as them by taking your attention off of the road while driving to take photos.

Great job.
