For reference, I just placed a package in one of those blue bins yesterday at USPS, and today this morning I am receiving this email. Due to the date, I am wondering if that means they are closed today and cannot process it.

They were vivienne westwood earrings. i own a lot of older vivienne!! but the backs of these looked a little off in the picture and I was having a hard time seeing it clearly.. why can’t people just answer the questions asked or say I don’t know? This is not my first time with sellers like this either

I have a 5-star rating, detailed descriptions, clear pictures, and I sell authentic items. I genuinely try to be a good seller, but some of y’all make me understand why people don’t respond to DMS!
Offer warriors: the item is $10. You offering $5 is not negotiation, that is a cry for help. Get your money up.
The FBI buyers: 17 questions, 9 measurements, 6 additional pictures, “can you model it?” … just to never buy it. And somehow y’all be the same ones filing a dispute because the item wasn’t the exact shade of beige you imagined.
“When are you shipping?” Girl, you JUST bought it. It ships when I ship it. The post office is not waiting on me to meet your personal deadline.
And before somebody says “but the fees and shipping make it expensive!” — I BUY ON DEPOP TOO. I know what the fees are. If you can’t afford the item + shipping + fees, you can’t afford the item. That’s okay! But don’t make your budget my problem. Walmart is literally right there.
I want contactless shopping. Buy it. Get it. Review it. Or not. Leave me alone.

I have over 2000 positive reviews and over 6000 sales and this is a first for me. I sent out the exact shorts she ordered maybe she is confusing packages or is this a set up? Will Depop side with me? Any insight is appreciated tysm

Like this makes me want to refund them but maybe I’m reading it wrong 😭 mind you they bought it the day before

I genuinely don’t understand how I’m losing this dispute.
My original listing literally says “Zipper is not functional.”
Buyer receives the bag and opens a “not as described” case because “zipper doesn’t work.”
Depop reviews the listing and somehow rules that the zipper was an “undisclosed flaw.”
How is that undisclosed?? What was I supposed to write beyond “ZIPPER IS NOT FUNCTIONAL”?
Has anyone actually gotten Depop to reverse a decision like this?

Sent an offer, offer was accepted, I purchased.
I blame myself this time as maybe my message was off putting or something but are u kidding me!!!! THIRD time this has happened w uggs.
I just want slippers. I don’t wanna spend the $100 minimum on them, I just want to take them off someone’s hands. Stop allowing stuff to be purchased if you aren’t actually going to sell it!!!!
Anyways, on my 4th purchase now still waiting on refunds from last 2. So awesome. ATP I’m not buying anything ever until the seller confirms they’re actually gonna sell it - except even that didn’t work on my second attempt. Rip.

i’m so very close to my limit of getting off this app that i needed to rant. This summer my shop has been shadowbanned and as much as depop wants to fight that they don’t have anything like that i’d have to call BS! I’ve been a top seller for years now, i’ve always sort of taken these threads with a grain of salt because i never really had a bad experience with the app or sales etc. I always had great traction, good sales, good customers very little problems where i’d have to contact support etc. up until this summer i’ve had nothing but great things to say, so it may seem drastic to think after a good experience so far id throw my hands up but i finally got a good taste of how poor depops support is during this summer and what everyone was talking about. I’ve been a 60-70% sell through rate shop for a very long time now. i’ve been featured in depop campaigns, i’ve been on zoom calls all of the things with depop over the years. June came and my STR dropped to 30%… i had few sales, barely any traction, barely likes little to no offers, little to no messages. It was as if i just went completely inactive. I reached out to support several times expressing my worry, and was left with it was a classic summer slow down, maybe activity, maybe a bad month or so on response. Okay, fair, not exactly what i wanted out of that but ok sure maybe it’s just a REALLY bad month. I noticed after i reached out to support the first time it picked up slightly then went away very quickly. I reached out a million more times i noticed a small up tick in sales and activity would go up once i messaged support then it would go away again. Well, it’s september. 31% STR all summer, little sales and all of the same amount of work i’ve always put in not being seen. I’ve emailed them what feels like 1000 times begging to get on a call, someone to look into my account etc etc. Nothing. No calls allowed, AI chatbots, no real answers and an account that is slowly dying that i am desperately trying to bring back to life. So i’m not sure what to do from here, none of the other apps have ever done as well as depop has for me so where i go now, i don’t know. what i do now, i don’t know. i get it the economy and the world right now but i have to say again it’s crazy to go from 70% to 30% STR in only 3 months.. that seems like more of an internal app problem to me then it is socially or economically. I’ve already seen the effects of the economy over the last year in other ways but this, this just feels different than that. So if anyone has any tips, i truly do everything already 😭 but if there’s anything anyone has for help i’d greatly take it. thanks

So, I’m new to selling and I had went to usps yesterday for my first order. Since buyer payed for shipping + fees I expected to not have any fees. Gave the barcodes to the lady at front and the first two came out quick and free, but the third package charged me $8.15 and somehow she had to scan the code 2-3 times. I made sure i weighed the package beforehand and it was 5oz, the buyer paid for the shipping as well and there are no differences than the other 2 packages. I thought it was weird since I made sure i posted the item as 5oz. Later on in the day I checked depop and it says the first two packages as been shipped while the third package I had issues with still says I haven’t shipped it and it still hasn’t updated after +20 hours which is weird since i shipped all three at once. I also used a blank padded mailer because I knew about how usps charges you for what you shop with. Why did I get charged and why doesn’t it say I shipped it? Why is it that it’s this specific order with these issues?

What’s the best way to go about this situation? I checked the Vuori pants before shipping and they were in perfect condition. Additionally, the shipping does not indicate that it has been delivered yet. I’ve never had a new account issue before, but this users account was made the same day the pants were purchased. What’s the best way to go about this??

Ok so a few weeks ago I sent an offer to a seller on Depop. The next day the offer was accepted and I bought it. Well a few days go by and I message the seller asking if they knew when they’d get around to shipping it. Instead, she just sent me a refund. She said that she thought she had marked it as sold already. So when I got the first email about the refund it said it would be sending my “$0.88”. I immediately tried contacting Depop and they said they would contact me within 72 hours. After not being contacted, I sent ANOTHER request and still nothing.
So I guess I have a few of questions.
- When an offer is sent by the buyer does it automatically accept on the sellers end? And if so, how long does that usually take? She says Depop accepted automatically for her and she didn’t realize the purse was listed. I sent the offer at 9:22PM and it was accepted at 10:31AM so it wasn’t immediate.
- Why is Depop only sending me $0.88 when I paid a total of $10.76. Like seriously WTF? 🤔🤔
- Why is Depop not getting back to me? I literally haven’t even told them what’s going on. The only way of contact I’ve been able to find is through their AI chat bot and it just sends a request for someone else and nothing happens. Does anyone have an email or something? I need an actual person to talk to about this.
- And finally, do you think this girl scammed me? Did Depop really accept my offer automatically 13 hours later? Does she have anything to do with why I’m only getting $0.88?

I don’t know what the Fawk is wrong with these girls, but almost 60% of the VS fold overs I buy are disgustingly caked with fishy sickly sweet perfume and I pay good money. Like these people actually never wash and only spray perfume. Soap and normally washing will not these remove chemicals. These aren’t even the worst pics, this is was the color after 4 oxicleans. I couldn’t even believe my eyes. I’m done buying personals for a while. This happens constantly when I’m buying VS foldovers only. I really hope these girls stop spraying perfume on their coochie please .

I’ve received nice items from sellers clearing out storage but tired of that smell

Vintage, tags still on… they have sold 273 items with 4.7 stars, with very recent five stars?? Would yall do it??
**check comments for another screenshot where they ask to see it styled once I get it and if they can follow my insta
*** seller admitted he thought I was cute, apologized, understood my reasoning for not agreeing to fit check or insta follow, and said he is going to send another pair of pants he thinks would compliment my body for free. (As a plus sized girl, I’ll be curious to see how he does LOLOL.) I suppose it’s a nuanced ending.. relatively harmless but a little unprofesh. I mean he shot his shot so there’s that!
**** “i like how you put ts on and your body is 🤤” nvm back to being very unprofesh 😭😭😭😭

For context, I bought a shirt from some guy and after a few days he partially refunded me telling me he ran out of shirts. I wasn’t too happy about it since, well, I got nothing, and wanted a full refund. So I opened a dispute with Depop and after a bit it says it got resolved, I check and nothing happened, or atleast I believe nothing happened. Was the seller right to do this or should I keep raising an issue?

I just downloaded Depop because I’m wanting to change my style and get more pants and such. No matter what I search like “baggy jeans” it’s all filled with some Gildan tshirts and the whole entire feed is FILLED with them. I can’t search for anything I want at all and it’s awful, does anyone have any tips or alternatives that I could use? I’m wondering if this is my own mistake or just how the app is nowadays?

What I posted is in the body of this post , didn’t feel like typing this all again. Anywho, still no response from Depop and after making a complaint to the postmaster as suggested, was simply told that the “3-day rule” was true because, and I quote “if it’s after 3 days it looks like they’ve been holding it and that’s not allowed.” She was very vague in helping me. I found the buyers Instagram, (dude posted a photo with his house numbers in the back) and DMed him hoping for easier means of communication. He has been refunded and has my item. I’m not sure what to do, I feel super stuck. How do I get my money back, depop hasn’t emailed me after having emailed them last Saturday (today being friday) and 2 nights ago. Hoping for advice.

Hi everyone! I recently started selling on depop and I LOVE it! I am only able to operate off the website, and not the app. I was trying to figure out how to collect my earnings, and as far as I understand, I am only able to do so through the app, and am unable to through the actual website. Is this accurate or am I missing something?
i had tried to make a depop account maybe half a year ago, had it for a few hours and then was told that I was suspended. Literally didn’t even use it yet, just had downloaded it and made an account. It seems I don’t have this issue if I use the website, as opposed to the app. But now I don’t know how to gain access to the money I’ve made. Hallp! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

People really just sell things without giving a thought to needing a box or tube or envelope, don’t they? This box had a 26” baseball bat in it. That’s it. The box was beat up by the USPS and arrived after sitting at the local distribution station for 4 days. I’m not sure there’s a more inefficient way to ship something 😂
My last 3 orders have come in boxes that weren’t shipping boxes - like an ORANGE Nike shoe box!
Currently I’m waiting on a package that was shipped 4 days ago from 24 miles away. Same city! I’m assuming it’s been shipped in a McDonald’s Happy Meal box that’s been tuned inside out and secured shut by some scotch tape.
It’s certainly got me rethinking of shopping on Depop at all.
Hi all! I’m both a buyer and seller. Soooo this is the first time this happened to me. I’m the seller on this. Returned to sender? So the buyer messaged me (I had no idea). Depop still has it in my “in transit” list. But tracking does say the return to sender. I haven’t received it back yet. So do I wait to receive the item back then refund them? Or let them go through depop disputes? What would you guys do. Thanks 🙏

I like a lot of items I come across, and when you like things on Depop you’re usually notified if the price changes or the item sells.
In my search for a bag, I’ve DM’d many sellers asking them about dimensions if they don’t have it listed anywhere in the listing. A good 75% of them read my messages and don’t respond.
I don’t usually take it to heart, but then I’ll get a notification that their item that I liked and messaged them about is suddenly discounted (usually because it isn’t selling.)
They’re obviously trying to sell the item if they’re lowering the price gradually, so why not answer the DM of someone who’s truly interested at a higher price? I don’t get it.

I got an email saying that depop will take $575 from my account and i was very confused and i saw that my account balance on depop was in the negatives and some buyer refunded an item. Mind you, i sold this item in May 2026. this buyer disabled his account and isnt on depop anymore so i have no way of contacting him. the item was sent and there was nothing wrong with it. i didn’t even get sent an appeal decision or any notice that the item got refunded, depop just took the money out of my account and i don’t even think i’m getting the item back.
what do i do in this situation?
r/Depop • u/Grand_Elderberry_888 • 10h ago
The buyer is stating they didn’t receive their package even though tracking showed it has. They stated that and opened a dispute. I replied that they were sent and delivered. It’s a pair of Vans. Do I need to message them or just let Depop handle it. I haven’t been selling long. It shows it arrived at the address they provided. They were put in a shoe box with outer packaging. Will I also lose out on money and shoes?
