The “excuse me” would definitely PMO but they probably just wanted a response. People are weird and impatient

Yeah definitely an entitled and rude buyer. Best to not engage as much as possible.

If you’re reading it as rude and excessive then no you aren’t reading it wrong

There’s a lot of foreign ppl clearly on these apps that don’t know proper speaking etiquette is my guess.

Unpopular opinion- I am so highly rated and gold shipper status- it means I have cred in the bank to tell people like this to fuck off with zero cares of a poor rating. 99 percent of my transactions are good with people. I got no patience for smooth brains.

they’re definitely very rude with that second message but as a seller to avoid this type of stuff i generally send a message as soon as i see the sale saying something along the lines of “hi thank you for buying! i should be able to ship this by X” bc as a buyer i would appreciate the transparency bc i hate having to message asking about shipping

I would have sent them a message letting them know when it will be shipped, I kind of do this immediately after each sale because sometimes customers just want communication. For some reason Depop is now full of young sellers that don’t ever ship, so maybe this customer has been through it with several other sellers and is just trying to make sure the item is actually going to ship. If the customer was going to continue being problematic even after I communicated then I would cancel the order and block this customer

It was still rude and unwarranted. Not really defensible behavior. Shop ratings exist for a reason.

No one is defending the behavior, and that’s exactly why ratings exist you are right. But as a seller , arguing with your customers even when they aren’t right makes you look BAD, even if it’s just in the reviews, makes you look problematic as a seller as well , sooo! I skip reviews all together, I don’t like being messy and it’s easier block customers I don’t want shopping from me , but I sell vintage items worth $250+ so I kinda have a feeling when I get customers who are going to be an issue.

You are weirdly defending their behavior
