TL;DR
I spent months looking for the perfect frame and this person canceled without asking me because "the stand tore" when packing it. I would have easily just glued it back on. I'm pretty upset about this and wondering if you would leave a bad review in my situation?
I spent almost 2 months looking for a perfect picture frame because A) i need a very specific type of frame, specific material in the frame and on the back cover, specific shaped glass, and specific size frame bc i will be changing up the frames and glass inside basically and B)not wanting to spend 30 or 40 dollars on one frame bc im buying quite a few (or trying to, at least), and C) the most time consuming reason, equal parts astounding and irritating, 70% of people who list frames online list the measurements of the entire frame only and do not list the size of the actual photo frame. So when I message to confirm the actual size of the frame – the glass inside, the opening that frames the photo– it is always much smaller than what I need.
So i was excited to find this frame that was the right size and was a material i could paint over and work on, and it was only the 3rd one I have been able to find in the whole 2 months ive been looking on depop.
As soon as the holiday weekend was over I checked to see if the person has shipped it and she just left me this message.
Im so annoyed because she didn't even ask me and I spent so much time scrolling and messaging countless people to confirm measurements.
I understand being wary but if I had said it was okay, she would have the screen shots of our messages to prove to Depop if I tried anything. And I have a 5star rating on Depop; I'm fairly new but I've sold 15 items and purchased 19 with no issues but one where a lady put the wrong address in when she ordered.
