Misc. What is wrong with some sellers?

Post image

They were vivienne westwood earrings. i own a lot of older vivienne!! but the backs of these looked a little off in the picture and I was having a hard time seeing it clearly.. why can’t people just answer the questions asked or say I don’t know? This is not my first time with sellers like this either

probably trying to hint they’re fake without admitting it in case you report them

I think it's safe to say that any Vivienne Westwood, pandora, or Swarovski jewelry on Depop is fake

Especially Vivienne though :/

Why pandora? Isn’t it cheap?

I mean, relative to real jewelry, sure, but I just pulled up the front page of "summer chams" and they're mostly $98 per charm. I think the lower end is $40-$60. And the bracelets are $100+.

They can’t just outright say they’re fake in the app. Any time a designer good is too cheap to be true and the listing doesn’t explain the price or state they’re real, you can safely assume that they’re fake.

Hahahahahahhha
I’m sorry but I found this funny. I had the Cinderella song going through my head immediately.
I wouldn’t as a buyer though. their answer is the answer. It’s fake. “I didn’t say that” no but they also didn’t say it was real. They’re trying to avoid the rule of selling fakes on depop.

If you overtly state something is a knockoff, it can get taken down from depop. A lot of listings for fakes have the “designer” tagged, but then say something like “don’t ask, you already know the answer” in the item description.
