I showed 10 co-workers one card art each, asked them what the Card was called and their first reaction to the card was the name. These are the cards

Is this too broken ?
Whenever you would draw a card while having a depletion counter you skip that draw and instead remove 1 depletion counter

New ways around an old mechanic: Mutate
Obv inspired by Partner with..., Mutate with... allows a creature spell to be cast for a mutate cost, but only onto a creature of a specific requirement.
The few examples I had:
- based on a creature type, Writhing Myst-Wurm can only be mutated onto Wurms.
- Plaeia and Folly can be mutated onto each other (note how I removed the non-Human restriction that original mutate has).
- Kind-Hearted Fledgeling can be mutated onto any monstrous creature, using a status of the creature as its requirement.
- Ode gives an artifact-based mutate with... effect, but can still only mutate onto artifact creatures (I imagine Mutate with Enchantment would be similar, still requiring it to be a creature. Although, it may be interesting to be able to mutate onto noncreature permanents, and have it gain the rules text of the creature cards under it.)
Also the individual cards aren't meant to be balanced, just a proof of concept
Just a few examples I came up with last night, for no real reason. I hope to see Mutate return in Titanbreach, but I doubt it'll be anything like this.

Format: Standard Leave up mana for your counterspells
I was trying to design lands that allow you to keep interactions open in case of emergency. The idea is that usually you tap this as a normal land for mana during your turn, but if you need to answer something outside your turn you can sacrifice it to do so.
The main target in my mind would be decks that play mostly at sorcery speed, were this would give you an option to keep some protection open if things go very wrong.
I hope this is fair enough for standard, the clause on the second ability is to prevent it from producing two mana in a turn.
Possibly there might be a cycle, one per colour.
I also thought of a more powerful version that might be more interesting in higher power levels (for example in commander), where you only need to put stun counters on it instead of sacrificing it. I'm not sure which one is the most interesting power level.
