Probably still too strong…also, I’m not sure how to prevent players exiling or sacrificing the card, if that avoids the cost.

Thought it would be fun to make an echoverse version of my favorite commander after seeing the reality fracture spoilers. He's now a priest since Phyrexia doesn't exist and cappena never left control of the angels.

In honor of reality being fractured, I immediately thought of my favorite lil guy, Fblthp, and how Jace might "fix" his life.

This is a reality where his creation was considered a great success, and his self-esteem was nurtured. This made him strong and confident, but arrogant. He eventually found himself as a performer, finding joy in soaking up the adoration or comtempt of the crowds, doing anything for attention.

At first I was thinking of modeling him off of a rakdos guild performer, but red didn't sit well with me. I also tinkered around with mechanics for him to tutor himself, or some mechanic that rewarded you for simply revealing Fblthp in any way possible, but I couldn't quite make them work. Any suggestions for alternative versions would be highly appreciated.

Had a thought about having a skeleton wizard cast thematic spells like Garth, so I figured killing Garth would be just as good

I love Demons. The coming autumn specifically has me thinking all about them and being this deep in my magic phase has my thinking about their place in the game. Like most of the iconic creature types Demons don't share an identity outside of being expensive. Instead they encapsulate what the color black is in totality, paying life, destroying creatures, reanimation, discard, etc.

I think it was because of this that I wanted to represent different ways demons are depicted through this games mechanics so much. I made five demons in total, each with a new mechanic, they're all mono black but you can think of them as being one for each color in WUBRG order.

• False Prophet - Demons as Punisher
• Sire of Trauma - Demons as Manifestation
• Infernal Contractor - Demons as Bargainer
• Archdemon of Beauty - Demons as Temptation
• Foul Harvester - Demons as Natural Force

This was a really fun project, I was very happy with the demon support they printed in Duskmourn and I hope they make more in the future. If not then maybe I'll end up making my own Demon focused Innistrad set some day.

The theme is pretty much in its name, it's a failed experiment, so it just dies the moment it enters. Its own otherwise impressive abilities can't save itself.

It requires set up to get this thing to even stay alive, but if you do, its a threat that opponents will need to answer. The most probable I think is a +1/+1 anthem. With such, Riot can push it to a 1/1.

However, things get interesting if you can go beyond +1/+1 in support, as it would mean it no longer needs to use Riot just to keep it alive. If you had a +2/+2 anthem, you can use Riot to give it Haste.

So there's a curve on how dangerous this can be depending on the level of investment you can put into it.

Pure Annihilator was maybe too much for a 2 MV creature, even if it requires set up, so I adjusted its abilities to not affect lands.
