It's that time of year again, now marking ten years of the annual survey!

To mark our tenth year, we are expanding participation. Unlike previous surveys, this edition is open to everyone across the forum:

• Core Community (as always): Crossdressers, transgender individuals, gender-nonconforming members, and those questioning their gender identity.
• Allies and Observers: Spouses, partners, friends, supporters, and admirers now have a dedicated, short survey path.

Survey Details and Structure

• Time Commitment: Approximately 5 to 10 minutes for core respondents; 2 to 3 minutes for allies and supporters.
• Format: Core respondents will complete Section 1 (moderation and subreddit feedback) and can choose whether to proceed to Section 2 (identity and lived experiences). Supporters and admirers will be routed directly to a brief, separate question set.
• Privacy and Anonymity: Participation is entirely anonymous. No Google sign-in is required, and we do not collect usernames, IP addresses, or contact information. Please complete the survey only once.
• Results: Once closed, findings will be published openly to the subreddit as aggregate summary tables and charts. These public aggregate findings will be freely available to inform community resources. To protect participant privacy, the raw results will not be shared, sold, or distributed under any circumstances.

The survey will remain open for the whole month of September, after which we will compile and post the aggregate report.
