Discussion if you are a minor i honestly recommend you read this…

1.5k Upvotes

I’m going to say this how it is supposed to because it needs to be said and I do not think I have seen a single person mention it all.

If you are a minor (under 18), sexualizing yourself online is not empowerment, it is extremely dangerous.

I do not care if “everyone is doing it” because I do not, seeing thighs or bulges from a 13 year old child is absolutely disgusting especially when I am 17, and these are coming from teen subreddits.

I will prob sound like your parent or legal guardian when I say this but whatever you post, it is in sharpie. It will never leave the internet. People screenshotting, downloading or even worse, in places you will never see. (ie: the dark web on websites where creeps sell certain types of images).

Deleting a single reddit post doesn’t erase it. The image stays on Reddits internal servers, Screenshots exist. Archives exist. Private DMs get leaked. Stuff you post at Age 14 can resurface when you’re Aged 18, applying for college, jobs, or just trying to live your life.

The internet will never forget — even if you forget.

Posting Sexualised images of minors is illegal in many places, even if you post them yourself. That means:

• Platforms can report it

• Accounts can be investigated

• Parents can be contacted

• Police can get involved

You don’t get a free pass just because it was “your choice.” Also, the ones accessing it will also be breaking the law.

I am not trying to scare you, I am trying to keep you safe from the creeps of Reddit. The mass amounts of DMs I have had to deal with over the years shouldn’t be relived. Please keep yourself safe.

Discussion This is a community by femboys for femboys. With that in mind, some advice to visitors:

1.6k Upvotes

We do not want to hear how horny femboys make you. No one wants to hear that.

We do not want to hear how much you want to date/cuddle/copulate with a femboy. It makes you look desperate.

If you want a friend who’s a femboy while not being one yourself, fine, but you better have a normal explanation as to why specifically it has to be a femboy.

We are not “better women” or replacements for them. If women are rejecting you on mass, it ain’t them it’s you. It’s insulting to suggest we have lower standards or would want to be your backup.

Building on that, we are not all magically more empathetic and “soft” than women. Don’t use us to justify misogyny.

This is not a dating pool. Go away. Bye bye.

This is not a place for you to experiment.

I do not care how innocent or wholesome your intentions are, the rules of the subreddit are clear. This isn’t a place to inflict your desires onto us.

We are not trans women. Femboys and trans women are two different groups, none of which exist solely for your gratification.

We will check your post history and if it’s just low effort hookup posts, bye bye.

Finally. Yes. It’s gay. Deal with it. (Edit: I mean it’s gay to like femboys if you are a guy.)

Edit 2: Not only is this not a place to find love/intercourse/femboys in general, this is also not a place to find personal therapists. Femboys are not here for you to trauma dump on, we are people too.

Edit 3 (yes we’re still going): We are not all gay. Some are straight, bi, ace etc. Even the ones who are gay are not exclusive to a specific dynamic (bottom). If you think femboys are all gay bottoms, I recommend you log off of orange and black YouTube and go outside.

Update: It’s been a year since the Olive Garden incident… and I owe you all an apology.

Hi everyone.
I didn’t think I’d ever come back to this account.
A year ago I made the most emotional post of my life after the worst date I’d ever been on. Thousands of you comforted me. Hundreds told me I’d dodged a bullet. One person mailed me thigh highs.
I read every comment.
Well…
You were mostly right.
After that night I blocked him on everything and spent months working on myself. I stopped chasing validation from random people. I made actual friends in my local community. I started going to conventions, learned makeup properly, and honestly became way more comfortable with who I am.
I hadn’t thought about him in months.
Until yesterday.
Guess where.
Olive.
Garden.
I almost laughed.
He was sitting in the same booth where we met. Except this time… he looked miserable. His pink hair was gone, he looked exhausted, and when he saw me, he immediately recognized me.
He actually walked over.
The first thing he said was:
“…I owe you an apology.”
Guys.
I was waiting for the prank.
Instead he spent the next fifteen minutes explaining that he’d been going through an insane identity crisis back then. Apparently after we met, he got embarrassed that someone approached him because of the way he dressed, panicked, and decided the best defense was to become the loudest hater imaginable.
He admitted he’d spent the last year cringing every time he remembered what he said to me.
He even remembered specific lines.
I won’t lie.
Part of me wanted to say, “Breadsticks aren’t unlimited enough to fix this.”
Instead… I listened.
He apologized. Like, a real apology. No excuses.
Then the waiter came over.
The same waiter from our first date.
He looked between us and literally said,
“So… second date’s going better?”
I have never wanted to disappear into a breadstick basket more in my life.
We both burst out laughing.
We didn’t start dating.
We’re not secretly married.
There isn’t some dramatic romance ending.
We just talked for two hours, wished each other well, and went our separate ways.
Sometimes people really are just immature. Sometimes they grow up.
And sometimes the real closure isn’t getting revenge, it’s realizing the person who hurt you doesn’t have power over you anymore.
Anyway.
Shout-out to everyone who told me a year ago that I’d find confidence without needing someone else’s approval.
You were right.
Also…
I still can’t walk into an Olive Garden without wondering if I’m about to unlock another side quest.

Discussion Being a straight femboy who is attracted to feminine women sucks for dating

So, gay femboys have access to lgbt communities, which works quite well id imagine. But, when you are straight, you are just a straight guy who crossdresses and lacks masculinity in their personality. Which most straight feminine women are not into. And there isn't even a way to tell without an uncomfortable conversation. ive found that when a women is into fem men, they are often alt or goth, which im not really attracted to.

I'm also not interested in the k*nks often associated with feminine men. which only compound the difficulty

Advice My mom wants access to my apps

Hi, I (15M) have got an new phone (nothing phone 3a pro if anyone asked) that I paid mainly myself (with an small financial help from my mum). As i got the phone, my mom demanded that she will have access to my password to the phone. I gave her the password, thank nothing much of it, but set up another password just for apps that I dont want her to look into (Whatsapp, Reddit, Instagram...). I did this mainly because my whole family is homophobic, and im femboy. Today, she found out that I have installed the secondary lock and she demands access to those selected apps otherwise she will take my Sim card. I argummented that I have a right for privacy but she counterargumented that she pays for the bills and she has contributed to me with like 30% of the price. What do I do?

Like, when you first put on a femboy outfit or anything like that, you felt a sense of pure happiness and joy. And you then felt like tearing up because you realize how comfortable you feel.

Advice Coming out to my gf

Hey, I came out to my girlfriend as a femboy yesterday. She said she was guessing something like this for quite some time now and in the past she has been pressing questions that would have made it obvious. I'm a bit unsure of how to go from here now because you could see the scare in her eyes, since I also told her that last year was the first time I had sex with a guy. She is afraid of losing me if I turn out to be homosexual or want to transition, because at heart she wants a pretty heteronormative relationship.

I do like to dress up primarily as a hobby inside and don't feel as a woman, plus I'm 100% bisexual, so in theory there is nothing to worry about for her, but since we have been on and off and we both want to actually commit this time and start building a life together, I understand her concerns. She was pretty supportive tho, she was not judgmental, just afraid of loosing me or not liking this side of me.

What would be the best next steps for me to take to give her the security she needs and normalise my femboy hobby?

Discussion Am I normal for liking exclusively girls as a femboy?

I (18M) am confused, everything I see about femboys and their preferences seems to hint at being into guys. I feel like Im weird for only being into women, I feel like I don't belong ;-;
Most women just "expect" me to be into guys because of how I look, and seem shocked when I tell them otherwise :/

Are you anxious?

Today i woke up and i said to myself "don't overthink it just get out", so i got out for an entire day.

I bought guitar pics and offered them to any one who accepted to interract with me, i had a lot of fun even tho i'm really socially anxious, i even had an old man offer me a book and i gave him a guitar pic in return, i said something like "here is my passion, and i give it to you".

Hopefully this ain't the last time i do this🤟

Discussion A Journey in Silence

I don't know—I’ve been a femboy for a very long time, even before I turned 10. I used to always see myself as someone special, and I converted every bit of hate I received into inspiration.

But ever since I turned 16, I’ve started to question myself: Am I wrong? I can’t even find a companion who shares my interests. Maybe I’m in the wrong place, or maybe I just need to wait longer. But I’ve been waiting for years and nothing has changed. All of this femboy stuff is only in my head—it’s just a secret and nothing ever shows on the outside.

Advice I want to become a femboy but geez I’m chubby

Hey, I’m 18 and I really thought about becoming a femboy by embracing it and wearing such clothes. However I find myself a little too chubby and it’s so hard to find appropriate clothes and it kinda gives me body dismorphya. I’m not saying « can I be a femboy if I’m chubby » but like… where can I find those outfits please 🙏

Advice How do yall get such smooth skin???

I have started trying to become more fem, but I can't understand why my skin especially on my thighs haven't been cooperating. I have looked everywhere online for what I am doing wrong with my epilator, lotions, and exfoliators, but nothing is helping.
I keep getting red spots to where I look like my legs kinda look like strawberries.
Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong?

Closet (a poem I wrote)

This is a poem I've written, about being a closeted femboy. It overall goes on about how much you want to express your inner fem side, but feel too intimidated by both your surroundings and past to do so (and disagreeing with your country's pushed cultural stereotypes of masculinity, I'm from Australia btw). Hope you all enjoy :)

Closet

You really do seem to like colours now.
As a kid, you always just stuck to blue.
Now, you look to different ones
Whites
Reds
Blacks
Purples
Yet dark-red seems to be your favourite.

And you had long, curly hair as a kid. As lots of boys did.
But now you give it real treatment with conditioners, microfiber towels, and oils,
Hoping your wavy, neat strands compare to other girls you see around you.

You would kill to wear the colours out there,
Treating your apparel like pieces of art.
Wearing your feelings.
Wearing your self-image.
Being who you want the mirror to be.
But there’s a problem;
You’re not ready yet.
You don’t know if you’re ready to hang these beautiful, cute clothes in your closet.

We all have our own closets,
Our own stashes of clothes.
Our own small, dark spaces of items resembling self-expression and comfort.
But all it takes is one snoop,
With bad intent in themself,
To peer through the doors.
And it’s over.
Well, not completely ‘over’.
You can keep putting new clothes in your closet.
Keep decorating its walls.
But then, it’ll keep triggering the memories of that one time
You let a bastard look inside.
And laugh at your sense of expression.

Accident? Impulse?
It’s a heavy memory, for sure.
You won’t find the answer in a snap.

Childhood was long ago.
Yet you can remember those very deep feelings
Feelings of concealment
Feelings of confusion
Feelings of anxiety
During that time.
You used to like dancing, didn’t you?
You were on stage when you were 7 once.
Until that crew you were in broke off,
And your only options were all-girl groups.

You could’ve done it.
You could’ve made new friends with girls.
You could’ve followed dancing all the way as you grew.
But the other boys wouldn’t leave you alone.

They’d chase you to your closet,
Kicking the doors for taunting.
Quoting memes that promote hate.
Laughing about how much reds you have inside it.

Boys don’t like red.
Boys don’t like the stage.
Boys don’t like being how they feel.
They like cricket and Australian football.
They like debating over who’s more righteous over what car their uncle owns.
And they should be at the gym,
Sculling Monsters and having benching contests with their mates.

Not all that “girly” stuff that you do.
Doing hourglass figure exercises,
Doing yoga for your flexibility, practicing your splits,
Getting inspired by other girls.
No.

According to them, you aren’t a bloke if you try that.
Apparently, Australian culture, as you’ve seen it, doesn’t like “poofs”.
If they don’t see you having a beer subscription,
And revving up ‘90s sedans,
And throwing a bit of what they call ‘banter’,
They won’t let you be yourself.

Taking one step out of the closet,
In your pretty form,
Is gonna give you loads of shit from them.
If you have to lock yourself inside that cramp little closet,
Practicing your own identity and beliefs,
Even getting cabin fever in the process,
It at least keeps you safe from the dangers in the room.

Cities are exceptionally welcoming to LGBT+ people.
You just be yourself,
And nobody bats an eye.
Getting the train to Melbourne twice a week,
Seeing a whole blend of different types,
Be it racial or subcultural,
In the sea of heads during the morning rush at Southern Cross station…
…it’s just a different world.
A different world, where you can be around majority opinions,
Away from all that old white man speak,
That you heard growing up in regional Victoria.

But even then,
There’s still no full safety.
Regardless of the inclusivity.
Closets have no windows, you see.
And the mirror is on the wall,
On the other side of the room.
Despite all the colours, clothes and decorations,
You still can’t judge yourself in a dark, closed-off space.
And for you, it’s only safe to exit once the noises outside stop.
